Designing Your Anchors-The 4 Seasons of a Happy and Healthy Marriage We put this workshop together for you and your loved ones because I want to have the best information available to avoid costly marriage therapy in the future. I see a lot of sadness in marriages where husbands and wives don't have the best blueprints for relationship building. Many have tried to read the books provided by scientists, but these books lack spiritual concepts and principles. Many try to learn from the prophets, but applying the teachings to real life situations can be challenging.
With these agonies in mind, my team and I have worked for over 25 years to harvest and synergize Eternal Principles and accurate science as related to healthy and happy marriages, and now we have condensed these principles into a series of concise workshops.
In the “4 Seasons” workshops, you will have access to the self-paced, multimedia (40 lessons full of videos, audios, diagrams, write ups, exercises, etc) online educational platform, and…
BONUS #1: You will have access to many of the highlights of the past 3 years of Marriage Repair workshop audio clips.
and
BONUS #2: You will be invited to attend a weekly live zoom workshop led by me, where I will carefully teach each principle and answer all your questions!
This workshop is intended for those who are in marriages that need improvement, individuals between marriages and pre-marrieds.

I've observed Moo's development and growth in her field for a couple years now. I'm wanting to put together some episodes exploring aspects of everyday occupations and the things people get out of it, why they choose to do certain things etc. In this episode Moo and I explore creativity and where the mental and physical benefits of creativity might lay as well as how Moo manages the balance between using creativity for self expression as well as a business.

We depend on our early attachments, so if those attachment needs are unfulfilled, interrupted, or severed, we could develop an abandonment schema. An abandonment schema can wreak havoc in our relationships, especially romantic ones. It can get in the way of thinking clearly and making healthy decisions when we start a new relationship. It can even capture our emotions entirely and send us down all kinds of rabbit holes. In this episode, Gemma dives into three different categories people fall into when they have an abandonment schema and get triggered in a relationship. Stay tuned to find out how to work out what is going on with you if you have an abandonment schema and feel anxious about a new relationship.Show highlights:People in the first category get triggered because their partner's behavior is observably problematic, and they are reacting to something real. Gemma gives examples of problematic behavior in a partner that could trigger someone with an abandonment schema. If you have an abandonment schema, you have to be able to analyze what is going on in the early stages of a new relationship.Gemma explains why people tend to sabotage a relationship when their partner is predominantly reliable and the relationship is generally good. Some examples of situations in which your reactions could create secondary problems.Gemma discusses the various modes of operating people in the second category use to cope with their abandonment schema in a new relationship.Doing active healing work around an abandonment schema can be helpful. Gemma explains what that means. With the third category, it can be helpful to have the input of a third party to figure out what is going on.Gemma summarizes the three different categories.

Her latest book, Meera’s Flowers, tells the story of a young girl celebrating an Indian holiday while living in America. She also wrote More Than Words: A Book About Body Language, a story about body language and feelings. Amy is a former first-grade teacher who is inspired by her students and her cultural background to write children’s books with ethnically diverse characters. Amy shares with us where she gets ideas for books and how the creative process works. We also discuss the concept of self-publishing compared to the traditional publishing route. We wrap up with Amy’s insights into the hardest part about writing and releasing a book during a pandemic. www.amyjivani.com You’ll Learn:● Where Amy’s inspiration came from for Meera’s Flowers● Amy’s advice for other aspiring writers:○ Write something you can champion.○ Storyboard your ideas as you begin. ● How the traditional publishing route requires resilience and seems like a “closed club”● Why Amy decided not to self-publish her first book● How Amy realized that creative stories could teach and reinforce important concepts to children in more memorable ways● How Amy gives herself creative space to think and produce rather than setting aside a disciplined time slot● The hardest part of what Amy has accomplished: getting publishers to see the quality of what she wrote and releasing a book during a pandemic when typical book promotion is a no-go● How Amy handles the newfound attention of being a published author with humilityRESOURCES TO GUIDE YOUR BUSINESS JOURNEY Disclosures: Please note that all opinions are my own and based on my personal experience. It all started with a cheese ball! EP 192 Have you ever wondered what it takes to develop a long term healthy habit? I’ve heard all kinds of claims like, do something for 28 days or 66 days or 90 days in a row and you will have cemented a new habit into your life. Well, how in the hell could one cheese ball knock me off my rocker so easily!? This is a story that hits close to home, especially for those that struggle with addictive behavior. It is also prevalent in other lifestyles like working out, meditation practices and definitely around food. On this episode, I share one more example of how I wasn’t just unlucky, or immature for just experimenting when it comes to extreme behavior as a young man. This type of behavior shows up for me over and over and over again. Let me know what you think. If you know someone that would benefit from here in this episode, be sure to share it with them and as always, we would be super grateful for a written review on your favorite podcast platform and a five star rating. Narcissists know what they are doing to you and what they are putting you through. Most narcissists know exactly what they are doing to you and what they are putting you through. They justify their actions by blaming you and you sticking with them.

Welcome my channel! If this is your first time seeing my face or hearing my voice, my name is Lee and I am a self aware narcissist. I have narcissistic personality disorder  ( NPD ) and I've been in therapy for my personality disorder since 2017 and it has definitely changed my life because without it, I would have lost everything.   The point of these videos is to help bring awareness from the other side of the narcissistic *buse spectrum. All my videos give perspective on why many narcissists do what they do and the possible different reasons behind them. The victims and survivors get validation and the Narcissists (those that are willing) get to see that you can get help and that you are not alone.

81 - An Unlikely Court Case w/ Maya Forstater Maya Forstater is a researcher, writer, and advisor working on business and sustainable development. She is one of the founders of Sex Matters, the UK-based, not-for-profit organization that seeks to re-establish that sex matters in rules, laws, policies, language, and culture. In 2019, she lost her job after tweeting and writing about sex and gender. She had begun talking and tweeting about news articles that she felt espoused bizarre new beliefs about gender and what the implications may be. For example, while building a campaign to combat overly-sex-segregated toys for children, called Let Toys be Toys, Maya observed that society had shifted from fighting sex stereotypes to claiming that some children were neither girls nor boys. It was fascinating to learn that even when researching tax policy, Maya found herself calling out unrealistic, utopian ideas and ruffling feathers among her liberal peers. In this conversation, Maya also reflects on her unlikely position in her landmark court case which established that gender-critical views are protected as a belief under the equality act. Despite her reluctance to jump into a complex and messy legal process, she felt a strong conviction to take this on.Links:Wider Lens Renewal Retreat — Arizona 2022:https://www.eventbrite.com/e/wider-lens-renewal-retreats-arizona-2022-tickets-368655377157Sex Matters:https://sex-matters.org/Let Toys Be Toys:https://www.lettoysbetoys.org.uk/Twitter Handle: https://www.twitter.com/@MForstaterMore of Maya’s Writing:https://a-question-of-consent.net/Extended NotesIn 2017, Maya took notice of the gender wars and started the “Let Toys Be Toys” campaign.Maya believes women are women and women have rights. It is widely spread that Maya is a Tax Accountant but her role in social justice is much more than that.Maya challenges people to engage in issues on Twitter and in her workplace. An employer told Maya that because she retweeted Kathleen Stock she was a bigot.Maya retained her job after explaining her plight on a blog and Twitter. Her father’s legal experience influenced Maya about whether or not to sue others. There is a legal time limit on discrimination cases. At the moment Maya was prepared to launch a public campaign, a major social justice law firm dropped her case.Maya has public support from those unable to raise their voice at work. The first hearing, that Maya lost, was about sex being real and a protected philosophical belief. In the first trial, a judge called Maya an Absolutist.A tweet from JK Rowling catapulted Maya’s campaign into the international spotlight. In 2021, Maya finally won a case that created a precedent that gender-critical people have the same rights as religious people.Sex Matters is an organization Maya founded to educate people about their rights. This podcast is sponsored by ReIME and Genspect. PAP 184: How to Be a Conscious Parent, with Lauren Pace Parents are human beings, nowhere near perfect. Often that means that we bring baggage from our childhood, our experiences, our own parents and let it color our parenting. We end up stuck on auto-pilot and often feel shame and blame when reflecting on tough parenting moments. Conscious parenting is about healing your own self so you can show up and be the parent you want to be for your kids. In this episode, Behavior Coach Lauren Pace outlines the steps necessary to make a shift to parenting with awareness and intention and creating the family life you really want.
Finding Meaning in the Second Half of Life: Reflecting on the work of James Hollis - Ep 481 Dr. Brad Reedy, recently back from vacation, speaks of lessons learned during his time off, through the lens of the works of Dr. James Hollis, a Jungian psychoanalyst. One of Dr. Reedy's opening quotes from Hollis's book The Middle Passage, perfectly previews this talk: "But such is the first [half of] adulthood: full of blunders, shyness, inhibitions, mistaken assumptions, and always, the silent rolling of the tapes of childhood. If one had not set forth and made those mistakes and crashed into those walls, then one would have remained a child. Reviewing one's life from the vantage point of the second half requires understanding and forgiveness of the inevitable crime of unconsciousness."
Ep.227: Stop Worrying, Waiting, and Wanting There are several common denominators for success, but these demand that you STOP: Worrying about payroll? Waiting for things to change? Wanting instead of doing? Don't ride the physical therapy rollercoaster; learn how to grab the steering wheel and take back control!

How to Re-Energize Your Excitement (or Will) To Start Dating Again I’ve often said to clients to date for fun, not for the one. Having fun puts you into a state of super presence, like a puppy or a child just enjoying themselves without a care in the world. But what if the thought of dating feels very meh right now, and you’re looking to pump yourself up to do it? That’s the situation that today’s caller Amelia finds herself in right now. In this episode, I help her discover why she feels so blah about the idea of dating again and what she can do to start clearing up her issues around all of her relationships. But I also spend some time touching on how you can protect yourself regarding recent socio-political events causing you to feel stressed or hopeless. 1:49 - A few things I need to get off my chest in the wake of the Roe vs. Wade decision 14:11 - Amelia describes her relationship struggle with men and how it ties back to childhood 20:09 - Why Amelia finds it difficult to allow herself to be vulnerable with men 22:45 - I reveal part of Amelia’s issue and what she needs to do next 26:47 - Why the thought of dating can feel exhausting and doing an inventory of your relationships 35:05 - The three things I want you to take away from this coaching call I hope you enjoyed this episode! ENCORE: Writing a Children's Book Have you ever considered writing a children’s book? I’ll admit that I’ve thought about it, and it might be a new endeavor in my future. Writing a children’s book takes creativity and planning, and much perseverance is required to navigate the publishing process. Join me as I talk to a longtime friend who has been through the process and published two children’s books. Our Featured GuestAmy JivaniAmy is a childhood friend of mine who has become a children’s book author. Episode 143: Get Your Sh*t Together & Play the Long Game - Corrie George The man himself is back in the house! Mr. Corrie George is on the cast and this episode is upppp there! Wow! We love Corrie for so many reasons, but the ultimate thing about this guy is he does not not hold back and his zero f*cks given meter is doing a-ok! Corrie joined us previously on the Mental Wealth Podcast, Episode 85: 1% State of Mind - Corrie George, another incredible episode to listen to if you haven’t already!   On this episode, Kaylor and Corrie are tackling defeatist attitudes and the importance of being awake to the bullshit. Corrie breaks it down in terms of playing the ultimate game. He asks the questions “What is the field of battle and what does winning look like?”. The truly awake are those that are aware and awake but unaffected. They’re talking about the system, programming, psychological warfare, winning mentality, taking the first step and changing yourself. Having a marathon mentality - this is a war, not a battle. Being proactive over reactive and a ton more. Corrie has taken his hits, but he takes his hits and gets up stronger.   This episode is a rally cry to gather all the warriors out there to the battlefield. Step one? Get your life together. Anything you point your finger at, you give your power to. He also highly recommends that everyone needs an advisor, someone on a level higher that is killing the game. Identify your real problems, disconnect from anything that is disempowering you, stick to your habits and routines. Give up as much as you possibly can that is negatively impacting you. Reframe your perspective - this is a game. How are you showing up as a player on your team? Straight up, the war is not won on the protest line.   Do you find yourself triggered by this episode? As Kaylor emphasizes, tune into that and ask yourself why. Get curious and go inwards. Don’t miss it guys! Suit up and get in there!   Guest Bio:   Corrie is a renowned speaker, entrepreneur and owner and CEO of two companies – YESA & Grant Cardone Canada. He is also the founder and host of the School of The 1 Percent podcast. At the age of 18, Corrie started his career in the largest door to door company in Canada and soon became one of the top salespeople and trainers in that organization. From there he was recruited by a BC company and became the youngest executive of that billion-dollar organization at age 24 and was able to build a direct sales business that employed over 200 people and delivered $31 million in commissions in 3 years. After his stint in the corporate world Corrie set out on his own and started his own company out of his one-bedroom condo. Within three years Corrie built that company into a multi-million-dollar organization that now employs 40+ people and he did all of this while overcoming a life-threatening illness. A massive car enthusiast, natural health advocate and powerful educator, Corrie is dedicated to helping build the largest rise of young business people in history.   SHARE THE WEALTH! 342: Micro Self-Care For Helping Professionals with Ashley Davis Bush Welcome back to Therapy Chat! This week, host Laura Reagan, LCSW-C revisits an episode from 2016 on a very important subject - self care for helping professionals! Ashley Davis Bush, LICSW is a psychotherapist in private practice in southern New Hampshire with over 30 years’ experience.  Ashley has written several self-help books, including Transcending Loss and Simple Self-Care for Therapists. She is a regular contributor to the Huffington Post and has some great tips to share with us today about improving our relationships to self-care. Join us! What you’ll hear in this episode: Ashley loves her work and counts it a privilege to be part of peoples’ lives. Her private practice is in her home, and it’s “a fun job, watching life unfold in front of you.” Even the simple choice of working from home can be a self-care choice. Ashley’s work focuses on grief, couples, and anxiety, but self-care is a common thread that is woven into her work with all clients. Ashley says that much of her practice patterns itself after her books. Her most recent book introduces the idea of “micro self-care.” “Macro self-care”practices are the big things that we normally think of regarding self-care, but micro practices are short, simple things that can be done in 1-2 minutes. Ashley focuses on self-care to avoid burnout, which she categorizes as “little b” and “BIG B” types of burnout. “little b” burnout is when you are exhausted at the end of the day or week. You may need a good night’s rest or a few days off to regenerate and recover. “BIG B” burnout is when you need to leave the field because you can’t take it anymore. Ashley addresses “vicarious trauma,” in that ALL therapists do some sort of trauma work. Personal and professional experience can cloud the lens with which we see the world, but life’s pains are a constant trauma. Ashley explains self-care vs. self-violence: when you don’t take care of yourself, then you’re doing harm (violence) to yourself. Mindfulness leads to grounding, bringing us into this moment right now. Ashley shares her Tibetan bell practice to help bring clients into mindfulness. She recommends using micro self-care practices at the beginning, middle, and end of your day. Ashley’s book lists 40-50 suggestions as to how to scale down macro self-care practices into small micro practices. Making the transformation from macro to micro self-care practices requires thinking creatively, but shouldn’t be overwhelming. Neuroplasticity is the science that show the brain can change in response to repetitive behaviors. You can rewire your brain to be more peaceful! When your brain is rewired, then your default setting comes to a place of gratitude and feeling good. Ashley’s three takeaways: Have a basic plan for 3 micro self-care practices each day. Sleep 8-9 hours each night so you aren’t tired during the day. Prioritize self-care, and you’ll soon realize that you can’t live without it! Be aware of the seasons of life, but regardless of the season, you can fit in micro self-care every da   Find Ashley at www.ashleydavisbush.com. 265: Are You Focusing on the Right Things? When looking to make improvements to our training, we often fall for the shiny object. We want the workout we can post on social media. We search for the magic bullet paces for training. We buy the special shoes. We seek out the incremental gains. What about the big blocks we neglect because we are too focused on the finishing touches? Are you getting the best bang for your buck?

It’s important to know how to optimize your training by focusing on the things that will give you the most significant gains. The mistake so many runners make is focusing on the wrong things. They tend to waste time and effort focusing on the small things that will move the needle a fraction of a percent before focusing on the larger things that will lead to a 20-50% improvement. This leads to a lot of frustration and slower progress. Instead of focusing too early on the details, take the time to get clear on the larger items you need to address to help you achieve your goals faster.

The relationship between self-esteem and lying, what to do with things that are left behind by someone who died (and this listener’s father had died by suicide – so trigger warning here), and last, is there a danger if you take medication for depression that it will numb you to your feelings? Episode 546: Kevin Barnes of Of Montreal On today's episode, I talk to musician Kevin Barnes of Of Montreal. Originally from Ohio, Kevin eventually ended up in Athens, GA where he became part of the Elephant 6 collective, a group that included Apples in Stereo, Neutral Milk Hotel, Olivia Tremor Control and many others. Kevin's music has transformed over time, as his own aesthetic beliefs have changed. Starting off as a Kinks/Paul McCartney-esque surreal indie pop group with albums on Bar/None and Kindercore, morphing from there into electronic pop and then dance pop, the entirety of the band's output given a throughline by Kevin's psyche. Since 2004, Kevin has almost exclusively released albums on Polyvinyl and his latest Freewave Lucifer Fck is out now!
