Entreprenuers: 7 ideas to Reclaim your Confindence Winston Churchill once said, “Success is stumbling from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm.”
The problem is, enthusiasm can be hard to come by, especially when yours has taken a beating. Setbacks and disappointments have a way of knocking it down. We start doubting ourselves and lose sight of who we really are. Without confidence, it becomes impossible to try, guaranteeing failure.
Thankfully, we know one thing for certain: confidence can be reclaimed, as every successful person knows. Read on to discover 7 things successful people know about reclaiming confidence.
They Remind Themselves They Can Do It
Successful people recognize failure is normal. Getting there won’t be without bumps. The important thing when trying to regain confidence is to realize success is still a possibility…or even a probability. This is where you remind yourself of your goal and visualize success all over again.
They Walk Away
There comes a time where a break is the best thing you can give yourself. Confidence wavers when you’re feeling stressed and overwhelmed. Doing a hobby you love, or even just taking a walk, or spending time with friends, does a lot toward regaining a positive mindset when you’re feeling frustrated.
They Revisit the Past
Where have you succeeded before? Where have you failed? Everything that’s come before is a teaching moment. What do you know about yourself already from these events? Understanding the “you of yesterday” is where your insights today come from. Confidence comes from using this knowledge well.
They Forgive
Hating yourself for some mistake you made isn’t going to get you anywhere and only destroys your confidence. Being able to let go and forgive the past is crucial to future success.
They Keep a Handle on What They’re Saying
Self-talk can be particularly destructive to confidence. How do you talk to yourself? Are you patient and understanding, or do you tend toward negativity? Grabbing hold of those mental put-downs will preserve self-confidence. Using more positive statements will build it up.
They Start Over
The only sure way to fail is to do the same thing, in exactly the same way, when you’ve already failed the first time. Rather than force failure onto yourself and eradicate confidence, revamp the strategy. Ask yourself how you can do things differently this time.
They Keep Trying
Persistence pays off. If you fail and stop, you’ll always think of yourself as a failure. It’s the person who gets up and tries again who builds confidence as they go.
In the end, the only way to reclaim your confidence is to put intentional work into recovering it. By using these tips, you’ll get there. Recognize the process can sometimes be slow, but success truly does still lie within your grasp, even after a setback.

Acountability Partner...Get One Now? Accountability partnerships are a great way to challenge yourself and let go of excuses. With an accountability partner in your life, it’s harder to ignore your goals because you “just don’t feel like getting anything done”. When you have someone you have to report to weekly, you work harder than usual because you don’t want to let your partner down.
But keeping track of each other’s goals and celebrating successes isn’t the only thing that you and your accountability partner can do together. There are many ways that solopreneurs and small business owners can help each other besides accountability.
An Accountability Partner Can Help with Brainstorming
Have you ever had an idea for a great project but you just couldn’t find a name that captured it perfectly? With an accountability partner, you can try brainstorming to come up with a title that you love. Of course, your accountability partner can help you brainstorm many things besides a project name. Together, you can brainstorm domain ideas, marketing strategies, podcast episodes, and webinar content.
An Accountability Partner Can Test Your Products
Nothing’s quite as scary as launching a new product and no one understands that fear like another solopreneur or small business owner. One of the ways that accountability partners can help each other is by testing products before they’re officially released. For example, if you have a website and you set up a shopping cart, you’ll want someone to test it for you.
Your accountability partner can help by testing your cart and sharing their honest feedback. Your partner might tell you that your cart is broken or point out an area where you’re missing out on additional sales. By testing products for each other, you and your partner are making your products even better for your customers.
An Accountability Partner Can Help You Create a Joint Venture
If you have an accountability partner that you’ve clicked with, then it might be time to take the next step together—creating a joint venture. This approach works well when you have two partners that are bringing different skillsets to the table. For example, if you offer copywriting services and your accountability partner offers web design services, then you could team up to create a DIY website course.
An Accountability Partner Can Promote Your Products
Accountability partners can promote each other’s products as affiliates. This allows you to introduce your customers to your partner’s products or services. Be sure to let your subscribers know that since you’ve already been accountability partners, you can vouch for their ethics and excellent customer service.
If you’ve been accountability partners with another solopreneur or small business owner and you’ve found you enjoy working together, consider other ways you could support each other. Start by having an honest chat with your partner and telling her how you’d like to further your working relationship.

4 GREAT WAYS TO BOOST YOUR SELF-CONFIDENCE FAST Struggling with your confidence? You’re not alone. We all striveto have more self-confidence. However, it can be difficult to come by at times. We often hold ourselves to unreasonably high standards, and this can have a negative impact on our self-esteem. However, if you can learn how to leverage and strengthen your self-confidence, you can generate some excellent outcomes. For instance, self-confidence leads to: Healthier relationships. Confidence doesn’t just influence how you feel about yourself, but it also helps you to understand and appreciate others better too. Better performance. Rather than constantly worrying you’re not good enough, you can devote your energy to reaching your goals. Resilience. When you’re confident, you’re more likely to open yourself up to new opportunities. At the same time, you’re also less likely to take a massive hit if something doesn’t go according to plan. Here are some quick ways to improve your self-confidence. Avoid Comparing Yourself to Others The most important thing you can do to strengthen your self-confidence is to avoid comparing yourself to other people. When you’re constantly comparing how you look, your job, your home, and other aspects of your life to what other people have, it’s much harder to be confident in yourself.
Researchers have discovered that people who compare themselves to others are more likely to feel envy, and envy impacts how these people feel about themselves. If you’re feeling envious of someone else’s life, remember that the image you see of that person might not be as real as it seems. Look After Your Physical Health It’s difficult to feel good about yourself when you don’t feel good.Practicing good self-care and looking after your body means that you’ll be in a healthier position to look after yourself – mind, body, and spirit. Start by looking at your current self-care routine. Where does it most need improvement? For instance, if you’re currently eating a lot of fast food to deal with long hours at work, now might be the time to start thinking about how you can add more fruits and vegetables into your routine. If you spend a lot of time sitting in front of a computer at work, then you’re going to need to start getting some exercise into your routine, so you can feel your best. It’s not just diet and exercise that makes a difference either. Think about how well you sleep. If you’re not getting the right amount of sleep, you’ll struggle to feel strong enough to handle the everyday challenges you have to face. Be Kinder to Yourself We could all do with a little more self-compassion these days.

Reducing Urban Heat Islands Guest: Victoria LudwigIntroduction: When the temperature heats up, people living in cities are often even hotter. That's because the parking lots, roads, and human activities in cities cause the urban heat island. Introverted? 6 Steps to Overcoming your Introversion Have you ever been surrounded by a group of people, yet felt completely alone? Do you ever get overwhelmed by the idea of socializing or socializing in large groups? Do you feel recharged when you spend time doing hobbies on your own? It’s possible you might be an introvert. Introverts are generally reserved or quiet people who find they expend a lot of energy from being in a crowd. There is nothing wrong with being an introvert and recharging during alone time. However, some introverts stay in their head so much that it holds them back from interacting with those around them. If you identify as an introvert, and want to be less reserved, here are ways you can get out of your head and interact with the present. Tips to overcoming introversion:
1.Practice relating to others. Most introverts would rather listen than talk. Many introverts deflect attention from them by asking question after question. One way to overcome introversion is to practice relating to others by sharing how you relate to them. “I really relate to what you said about…(topic). I experienced (what you experienced.”
2. Don’t limit yourself with the introversion label. We can use our identity to our disadvantage by saying things like, “I’m introverted, so I won’t enjoy this situation.” While it’s perfectly normal for us to choose situations that fulfill us, it’s important to also look for opportunities to grow and challenge ourselves. You can be introverted and take action to enjoy a group setting, such as finding one person you can have an in-depth conversation with. You can be introverted and start a conversation with someone! Try beginning the conversation by complimenting the other person and see if there’s an opportunity to say more.
3.Be proactive. Create a plan that takes you out of your comfort zone. Regardless of whether you identify as an introvert or extrovert, learning how to be proactive to achieve your goals will help you grow in life. If your goal is to make more close friends, schedule one coffee date per week with someone to get to know them better. If your goal is to speak up more at work, create a plan to speak up more often in meetings or privately with your boss.
4. Give yourself time to recharge. Plan a day or night where you can do activities that recharge you. For example, reserve Sunday evenings to yourself so you can do art, read a book, or binge Netflix. Or, if you’re at a busy event, find a quiet space where you can spend 10-15 minutes recharging.
5. Learn to tell stories. One way to captivate a group and make them feel closer to you is learning to tell stories. Practice bringing stories from your journal into social settings. Set the scene, build suspense, and then end with a lesson or outcome. 6. Silence your inner critic. Because introverts spend so much time alone, they tend to have a loud inner critic. Your inner critic is that voice that tells you, “you’re too quiet” or “no one likes you.” Jobs Near ME

Does a big ego lead to big success? So, is having a big ego good or bad? It depends on what’s important to you. There are several advantages to having a big ego:
1. A big ego can lead to big success. You’re unlikely to ever become a national level politician, a CEO, or succeed in any highly competitive field without a big ego. Big egos love to outdo the competition. So, an ego can be invaluable when the competition is fierce.
2. A big ego can be helpful in overcoming obstacles. Those with big egos are so often so pleased with themselves that they don’t allow silly obstacles to stand in their way. They think they can do anything, so why would an obstacle be a significant issue? A big ego can allow you to set huge goals and believe that you can achieve them. The unreasonable level of confidence that often accompanies a big ego can be an asset. However, the news isn’t all positive.
There are also disadvantages to having a big ego:
1.You’re often too concerned about the opinions of others. While some people with big egos couldn’t care less what others think, others are obsessed with the opinions of others. A big ego can suffer big pain when it’s not appreciated as much as it thinks it should be.
2.You’re never satisfied. An ego is a hungry beast that’s never full. You can’t do enough to satisfy a big ego. It always wants more. Whether it’s power, money, attention, or praise, it can’t get enough. Those with big egos never experience peace.
3.It can be detrimental to those around you. Your ego can harm the people around you, which is the biggest reason why many people avoid egotistical people. When you’re focused on yourself and satisfying your ego, others are just a means to an end.
4.Your ego can blind you to the truth. Your ego lies to you. You can’t see the truth, because your ego greatly influences your perception.
5.Your ego can make you afraid of failure. An overactive ego likes to protect itself. It’s your ego that makes you uncomfortable when you want to try something new. It’s your ego that tries to stop you from talking to the beautiful woman or the handsome man. Your ego can be a good thing, or a negative thing, depending on the situation. Your ego can make you sensitive to failure or overconfident in your abilities. Your ego can drive you to be successful, but it can also harm those you care about the most. Be aware of your ego and how it influences your behavior and your goals.

Gauging Hurricane Intensity: An Upgrade to the Dvorak Technique Guest: Derrick HerndonIntroduction: After two back-to-back supercharged hurricane seasons, 2022 is again expected to be well above average. When tropical systems are spinning far out in the ocean and away from land, meteorologists compare satellite imagery of the current storm to past storms to estimate its intensity. It's a technique that dates back to the ‘70s called the Dvorak Technique, and it is still used today. Satellite meteorologist Derrick Herndon joins Weather Geeks today to share how the Dvorak technique has been upgraded. 30 Minutes to Greater Success: Winning Routines to Start & End Your Day veryone has routines they follow, but some routines are more successful than others. The star at work has a routine, as does the employee on the verge of being fired. Your slim, fit neighbor has a different routine from your obese friend. Routines are important, because much of success is the result of small actions over long periods of time. It’s not possible to lose 50 pounds or rise from the mailroom to the executive suite in a week. Those with more exciting results have more effective routines. It can be that simple. What are a few of your routines? Think about the segments of your life that are repeated on a daily basis. For most of us, this will include getting ready for work, the first part of work, the last part of work, and our evening routine. You already have a routine for these parts of your life, but have you been thoughtful about them and attempted to construct routines that help to support your goals? You might think that thirty minutes isn’t enough time to accomplish anything worthwhile. But the benefit of thirty-minute routines over months and years is spectacular. Consistently being on time, prepared, and spending your work time intelligently and productively separates the successful from the average. If you think you can’t spare the time, keep in mind that you’re already spending the time and you already have routines. Purposefully constructing routines that make sense is much more effective

10 PROVEN TECHNIQUES FOR OVERCOMING WORRY AND ANXIETY All of us struggle with fear and worry from time to time. In fact, in many cases, fear is actually a good and healthy thing. It causes us to wear seatbelts and try to eat healthy. It keeps us from doing things that will hurt us, like getting too close to a fire or jumping into a lion’s cage at the zoo. It’s also natural to be concerned about our health, bank account, job status, children, and more. When something threatens one of those things, we take notice. We work hard to protect ourselves and those we love. In some ways, fear is both a natural and helpful part of what it means to be human. But if fear gets out of control, it can take over and prevent us from enjoying life. When we’re consumed by fear, we can’t be present for others or do the things we love. Overwhelming fear affects our health, saps our strength, makes it difficult to concentrate, and robs us of sleep.
Franklin D. Roosevelt famously said, “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” And while this isn’t 100% true (there are real things to fear), his point is well made. Fear holds us back from living life to the fullest. We must learn how to overcome our fears, so we can move toward the things we desire.

HOW TO TALK SO OTHERS WILL LISTEN Do you often get the feeling that people aren’t really paying much attention to what you’re saying? Learning to speak in a way that encourages listening can have numerous benefits. Imagine how your life might be different if others made it a point to seek out your opinions! It would be great for your self-esteem and confidence. Being able to command the attention of others can also benefit your career. Have you ever known someone who wasn’t particularly good at their job, but still managed to thrive within the company? It could be that your co-worker thrived because they had mastered the art of talking so others will listen. Some people are so charismatic that they could be reading the ingredients from a box of corn flakes, and mesmerise everyone around them. On the other hand, there are others – and this might be you – that could scream “fire,” and yet, no one even picks up his head to look their direction. It’s frustrating to have worthwhile things to say when no one will pay attention long enough to really listen.
What’s the difference? Is it in the voice? Is it body language? It’s actually a number of things, but fortunately they’re all things that can be learned. You’ll soon know what you need to know to talk so others will listen.

Fear is the Great Indicator How to Conquer it. When you begin to take new actions at new levels, you will experience fear sooner or later. In fact, if you aren't, you aren't doing enough of the right things. Fear is actually a sign that you are taking the necessary steps to move forward. Admit it: most of the time, what you fear does not happen. It's been said that FEAR stands for False Events Appearing Real, which implies that the majority of what you're afraid of never happens. Fear is mostly triggered by emotions rather than rational thought. And, in my humble opinion, emotions are vastly overrated—and frequently used as a scapegoat for people's failure to act.
Because the marketplace is made up of people interacting with both products and one another, the market will experience fear in the same way that you and your peers do. However, rather than viewing fear as a signal to flee, as most investors do, it must become your indicator to proceed.

Social Infrastructure's Role in Heat Waves Guest: Eric Klinenberg When we talk about preventing deaths from natural disasters, we often look at our physical infrastructure and how to build it to withstand withering conditions. But what about our social infrastructure: the network of spaces, institutions, and groups that help foster social connections? What role do they play in protecting the vulnerable? Our guest today is Eric Klinenberg, author of Heat Wave: A Social Autopsy of Disaster in Chicago, and it's an in depth look at the factors that led to one of America's deadliest heat waves.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
CREATE PROCESS GOALS AND ENJOY GREATER SUCCESS Enjoy more success by changing your approach to goal setting. Learn more about process goals and how to use them.
Setting Process Goals:
1. Focus on behavior. You’re probably familiar with outcome goals that describe results, like managing your blood pressure. However, it can be difficult to make progress unless you also set process goals for the related steps, like cutting back on salt and exercising regularly.
2. Learn from experience. Your past victories give you a foundation to build on. Identify your strengths and the tactics that work for you.
3.Clarify your expectations. Analyzing your goals gives you an opportunity to consider whether they’ll really provide the benefits you’re hoping for. For example, if you’re trying to build your self-esteem, you may decide to cancel plastic surgery and go back to school instead.
4.Be specific. Precise goals are easier to visualize, giving you more motivation and a clearer sense of direction. Identify your top priorities and express your thoughts in the simplest language possible.
5. Face reality. Ask yourself if you’re capable of achieving your goals. For example, you may discover that you need to earn an additional certification before you can apply for a more senior position.
6. Think positive. Use your goals to describe things you want in your life rather than things you’re trying to avoid. It’s more fun and effective. Implementing Process Goals:
1.Combine your goals. Process goals supplement your outcome goals rather than replace them. When you put them together, you can see the big picture and pay attention to the details.
2.Break things down. If your final goal is a long way off, you may need to create shorter term objectives to strive for. Each victory will reinforce your commitment, especially if you find satisfying ways to reward yourself for your efforts.
3. Evaluate your progress. Measurable goals enable you to assess how you’re coming along. You might keep a journal or use a checklist to mark off the tasks that you’ve completed.
4. Overcome obstacles. What if you’re falling behind? Planning for contingencies will help you deal with unexpected events that come between you and your goals. For example, you could keep running each day by switching to an indoor 2 track if your local park is buried in snow.
5.Recover from relapses. What if you temporarily abandoned your goals, but you’re determined to bounce back? Let go of guilt and give yourself credit for making a fresh start. Work on making changes that will help you stay on track.
6.Change your environment. Your surroundings play a major role in your ability to reach your goals. It will be easier to enjoy higher quality sleep if you replace your sagging mattress and move your TV out of your bedroom.
7. Seek support. Social support is another key ingredient for success. Let your family and friends know how they can help you. Process goals help you to focus on the things you can control and give you a concrete plan. Create the life you want by setting meaningful goals and taking the necessary actions to reach them.

Build a Personal Brand (Part 2) First things first. Let’s ensure we’re all on the same  page in terms of what a personal brand actually is.  A personal brand is much more than a flashy logo  or a color palette. A personal brand goes far  beyond having a nice-looking business card. A  personal brand is not just about having a website  with your name on it, although that’s certainly  part of it.  A personal brand is much bigger and all encompassing. It’s about who you are and what  you do.  Your personal brand is how you present  yourself, both online and offline, to your  ideal audience.  Your personal brand is the image you put forth. It’s  what you stand for. Your values. What you’re all  about. The core of who you are as a person. Your  personal brand is your secret sauce – the thing  that sets you apart from everyone else. It’s what  makes you unique.

Motivation vs. Discipline Motivation vs. Discipline
We all want to be motivated. We all want to be disciplined. You might be thinking, “What’s the difference?” But according to many self-help gurus, there are differences. Or are there? At the beginning of the year, you’re motivated to make some changes. You’re going to find a better job, lose 30 pounds, exercise each day, and read a book each week. You’re so excited at the beginning of the year. You purchase a gym membership, some new cross training shoes, and join Amazon Prime, because you know you’re going to be ordering a lot of books, and you’ll make good use of that free shipping. Fast-forward to early March and you realize that you’ve only read two books, haven’t been to the gym in weeks, spent $30 on Amazon prime, $90 on your gym membership, and gained exactly one pound. You were motivated at the beginning, but you lacked the discipline necessary to carry on when your motivation flagged. Many believe there are differences between motivation and discipline.

Why You Need to Build a Personal Brand (Part 1) You know what a brand is. McDonald's, Apple, Lexus, Levi’s, and Rolex are all brands. But do you know what a personal brand is? And, even more importantly, do you know how to build one? If you answered, “No,” to either of those questions, then this report is for you. Now, more than ever, you need a personal brand. If you want to stand out from the competition, attract new clients, and build a thriving business, it’s important to create a powerful, thriving personal brand.
If you’re an entrepreneur, it’s critical to devote at least some time each week to strengthening your brand. As you’ll understand later, your personal brand is one of your biggest assets. Your personal brand can take your business to places you never thought possible. But you have to know how to build one.
Unfortunately, most business owners don’t know how to build a personal brand. They feel fuzzy on exactly what steps to take and what’s involved in creating a brand around themselves.

How Can I Get Motivated Quickly? People's drive and willpower fluctuate for a variety of reasons. At times, you may feel energized and motivated to attain your objectives, but you may also feel unmotivated or unclear of what you want or how to get it. Even if you aren't feeling very motivated, you may take measures to get motivated quickly. Among the things you can accomplish are the following:
Just Get Started
You do not need to wait for motivation to begin. If you want to work consistently every day, you'll have to get started sooner or later. And the odd thing is that once I've been working for a bit, things become simpler and more enjoyable, and your motivation returns.
Most of the time, procrastination results from having too much on your plate and not knowing where to begin. It's difficult not to feel this way when you attempt to address it all at once: but when you concentrate on one or two things at a time, it's simpler to stay motivated and not feel so burdened. The next thing you know, your entire list is completed, and you're out with all of your friends.
Start Small and Slow Build-Up
Don't let the size or difficulty of a job or assignment cause you to procrastinate. Somewhat, narrow it down into more miniature stages – such as Sending that email or doing laundry for 5 minutes – and then start with just one of them.
Minimize The Number of Everyday Distractions
It's difficult to concentrate when there are so many distractions all around you. As a result, close the door to your workplace. At the opposite end of your work area or home, put your phone on silent mode. Also, use a browser plugin like StayFocusd to keep oneself on track.
Rest And Relax for A Bit
The distinction between being sluggish and resting is significant. Laziness serves no proper function. Rest is essential for life and clears your thoughts so you can focus on your goals.
Perhaps you've been working on a project for far too long and are exhausted. Try sleeping on it for a while. Allow yourself some time to relax. Rest is necessary for our bodies and minds to perform at their best.

How to write a highly effective business plan today so that you succeed! Why Do You Need a Business Plan? ● A business plan will help you build a business that will support you financially, have an impact on those around you, and leave a lasting legacy you can be proud of. ● A business plan helps you to peer into the future and predict different outcomes. Though it’s certainly not perfect, it helps you map out where you currently are and where you’re headed. Specifically, a business plan helps you… ○ Estimate total startup costs ○ Project revenues and profits ○ Convince investors ○ Compete from the start ○ Anticipate challenges ● A business plan helps keep you on track. It ensures that you focus your attention on the right things and helps you avoid mistakes that could sink you. We’re going to walk you step-by-step through the process of creating a solid business plan. Before You Start ● Unfortunately, many business plans are wildly unrealistic. The initial excitement of starting the business often causes entrepreneurs to massively overestimate how successful they’ll be and underestimate the challenges they’ll encounter. ● In order to be effective, a business plan needs to be realistic. Before you launch, you want to be relatively confident that you have a good chance of succeeding.

HOW TO IGNITE YOUR TIME LIKE THE SUCCESSFUL MILLIONAIRE ENTREPRENUERS FOR CONFIDENCE AND FOCUS Every entrepreneur seems to have a secret to their success. For some, it’s an ability to think outside of the box and take risks. For others, it’s staying humble, even when faced with huge success. While every entrepreneur is different, you’ll notice that there are also some things that they seem to share. For instance, talk to almost any successful business ownerand they’ll tell you that a good morning routine is the key to unlocking endless opportunities. Here are some of the things you can do to spend your morning like a successful entrepreneur:
1.Wake up early. While you don’t have to be an early bird to get the worm in business, it often helps. According to Richard Branson, the entrepreneur behind Virgin, wherever he is in the world, he makes a concentrated effort to get up at 5am. Branson believes that getting up early helps him to spend more time with the family before he gets down to business. Try going to bed a little earlier than usual and waking up early too. Research consistently proves that many successful people wake up well before the workday begins. How could you spend an extra hour before your commute?
2.Be prepared. How long do you spend each morning just trying to work out which tasks you should be tackling first?Figuring out a schedule can take a lot of 1 crucial time for productivity out of your routine. That’s why it’s so helpful to plan ahead. At the end of each workday, put ten minutes aside to make a list of the things you need to do first the next day. This way, you can start your morning with a focus on what you need to get done and avoid anything that might put you on a path of procrastination.
3. Exercise. Exercise can do incredible things for the body and mind. Studies show that regular exercise increases your energy levels and strengthens your cognitive abilities. A few minutes of sweating before work can also help you to clear your mind for the day ahead and reduce stress. If you’re wondering how to use that extra thirty minutes you’ve added to your morning each day, a mini workout could be just the thing. Follow up with a healthy breakfast to nourish your mind, kickstart your metabolism, and give you the energy you need to handle the day. Drink some cold water too. Huffington Post founder, Arianna Huffington, says she always starts her morning with a tall glass of water.
4. Do the toughest job first. Trying to plan your day to facilitate success? Start with the toughest task first. The idea of “eating the frog” comes from Mark Twain, and it basically means that you handle the thing you least want to dofirst. If you overcome your biggest challenge first, then everything else you do will feel easier by comparison.

BUILDING A POWERFUL TEAM: A GUIDE TO CREATING a SUPERSTAR ORGANIZATION If you’re a small business owner or entrepreneur, you know what it means to build a business from the ground up. It takes smart thinking, ingenuity, and a ton of hard work to create a successful business. Many small business owners are very protective of their vision because they know exactly where they want to take their business. Sooner or later, though, most entrepreneurs recognize that they need help to grow. They can work 80 hours a week, but in order to meet the demands of their business, it’s going to take a team.
You may be the type of person who does everything for themselves. You trust yourself the most, you’re the one who understands your vision the most, and you’re the best person to see that vision come to fruition. That’s a good plan if you have a very small business that depends solely on your own efforts. There are some small businesses that can be run by one person.
Your employees should be knowledgeable about your products, but they should also be ethical people who can work well with others. More than anything, you want to avoid hiring toxic people who will cause division or harm fellow employees. Billionaire and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, Warren Buffett, once said: We look for three things when we hire people. We look for intelligence, we look for initiative or energy, and we look for integrity. And if they don't have the latter, the first two will kill you, because if you're going to get someone without integrity, you want them lazy and dumb
The importance of treating your employees well can’t be underestimated. You may not be able to make your employees millionaires, but the way you treat them makes a lasting difference. In fact, how you treat your employees often affects the morale of the company more than the individual income levels. Certainly, compensating your employees well is important, but how you treat them may even be more important than high pay. In 2015, Harvard Business Review published an article called “Proof that Positive Work Cultures are More Productive.” They concluded that cut-throat, high-pressure business cultures are less effective than inclusive!

What Everyone Must Know About WHY A MENTOR IS CRITICAL AND HOW TO FIND ONE Success is easier and faster with a mentor. Maybe you want the satisfaction of pursuing your dream alone. Or maybe you’re embarrassed to reach out to a potential mentor or don’t even know where to begin looking. Whether you want to master the piano, create a popular blog, or build a billion-dollar business, a mentor can smooth and expedite the process. Consider these reasons why a mentor could be critical to your success: 1.Mentors know people that matter. Mentors know people that can be helpful on your journey. For example, let’s suppose you want to be a movie star. The right mentor will know successful actors, directors, writers, producers, and other people in the entertainment business. If you want to attend graduate school in the biological sciences, a good mentor will know successful scientists in academia and industry and people on admissions committees. 2.Mentors know what matters. A mentor has done what you want to do or is at least an expert on what it takes to be successful. Consider that many of the world’s greatest coaches weren’t necessarily successful themselves as players. 1 However, they know how to make others successful. 3.Mentors help you to avoid mistakes. Mistakes slow progress. There are different types of mistakes, such as: working on something that doesn’t matter, failing to give something the proper priority, doing the wrong thing, or doing the right thing improperly. Mentors direct your focus, so you can avoid mistakes. They also help to correct your mistakes. 4. A mentor is an ally. A mentor is always on your side. If you need a cheerleader, your mentor is there for you. A shoulder to cry on? Your mentor is available. Even your friends and family can come to resent your success, but your mentor is always happy when you’re successful. 5. A mentor will push you. We often fail to push ourselves when we manage ourselves. A mentor will push you to develop at a faster rate than you’re likely to push yourself. In some instances, your mentor might push you to be patient and slow down. 6. A mentor saves time. All of these advantages serve to save time. A mentor will help you to develop fully in less time. A mentor can shave years off the period of time it takes to be successful. These strategies can help you find a mentor that’s right for you:

8 THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND WHEN YOU’RE AT YOUR LOWEST 1.You’ve been down before and rebounded. This isn’t the first time that you’ve had to deal with challenging circumstances. Think back to the last time you thought you were dealing with more than you could handle. How do you feel about that time now? It won’t be long before you can think back on your current situation and maybe even smile about it a little.
2. There’s nowhere to go but up! If you’re truly at your lowest, there’s a silver lining: There’s nowhere to go but up from here. Reaching a true low point can be a blessing. It’s a chance to get real with yourself, dig in, and make some positive changes in your life.
3. Even small changes can make a big difference. When you’re at your lowest, even a small change can have a big impact. When your life is operating at a high level, making additional progress can be a lot of work.
4. Gratitude can provide a more positive perspective. Look for things you can be grateful about. Your perspective will change considerably, and you’ll be in a better position to find solutions to your current dilemma. Gratitude is a great tool to have available during both good and difficult times. Are you strong enough to be grateful when you’re at your lowest?
5.Progress is the key to feeling better. People are happiest when making progress. Set a couple of small goals and achieve them. You’ll feel a lot better than you think. It’s more enjoyable to be in a rough situation but clearly making progress each week, than to be in a good situation but clearly sliding backwards each week.
6.You’ll laugh about this someday. Long after the fact, there’s something a little humorous about the bad times. You realize how overly dramatic you were at that time. You’ll eventually grow to feel the same way about your present situation.
7.You’ll only be stronger for it. Hard times create strong people. It stinks while it’s happening, but you might even be grateful someday for your current struggles. You’ll become stronger and more capable. People that have never faced significant challenges are soft.
8.You’re not alone. Remember that there are plenty of people that are willing to help. Avoid the urge to hide from the world and deal with your challenges alone. It’s unnecessary. Reach out and allow others to assist you. What do you have to lose? It’s easy to feel overwhelmed when everything seems to be crashing down around you, but you can overcome your situation.
Set a simple goal and achieve it. Then, set a slightly bigger goal and achieve it. The momentum you gain can give a great boost of confidence and optimism! Stay in the game, even when the game gets rough. No matter how challenging your life might be, it could actually be worse. Others have overcome poverty, language barriers, health issues, being orphaned, and abuse, and come out on top. You can overcome your current situation, too.
