eso. The old Farmer's Almanac is an almanac. But then you have these other publications that we mentioned earlier the Garden Guide and the Vegetable Gardeners Handbook Tell us about those and how you're involved with them and who therefore So the way that these other publications work are there's too much information about gardening and farming, the that we can't fit it all in the traditional publications. So they in the Garden Guide we have an article about how to grow hydroponically inside, and it's an easy D I Y kind of operation, and this is something is too long we couldn't fit in the normal publication. So for, like, less than $100 you can actually just grow greens like lettuce and spinach and kale, Um, right out of a bucket. And this is actually something that I tested out right in the office, right next to my desk for about a year, and eventually I got my own sister the home because it worked so well, shockingly. And what's nice about this is, you know, with hydroponics, usually you need some kind of water filtration or movement pump. This is a really simple, like bare bones version where it's just you put water and nutrients in a bin, you take a lid and you cut holds out on the top and you put little plastic net pots in it with perlite, a growing medium. And then you just put seeds in and put some grow lights above it, as close as you could get them and they just take off. So right now in my pantry, as you mentioned my the beginning of this interview, I grow in the pantry, and that's through this hydroponic system. We have huge heads of kale and lettuce growing right now. Yeah, nutrients to use in it. So we use mawr of a grow focused. So for the nitrogen heavy, um, to help all of the leaf growth. And it's pretty simple. You can mix your own, but you can also get ones at your local you know, grow houses and department stores. Yeah, hydroponics. And yeah, you just want to get a hydroponic nutrient mix. And there are other ones that are based more on different kinds of growth points in the plant's lifecycle. So if you're gonna grow something like tomatoes, you would need a completely different set of grow formula for that, and yeah, nutrients and different lights. So with just the vegetation growth, you could get away. Just the blue spectrum, which is, like, you know, your basic lights, led lights and shop lights. But if you want flower and fruit growth fruit being meaning the vegetable growth, then you're gonna need the red spectrum as well. Interesting. I did not know that. And so you mentioned high in nitrogen. So the the nutrients that are high in nitrogen are going to grow leafy things. Yeah. And so if you wanted to grow tomatoes, you probably need more of the p k in the N p. K, right? Yeah. So I have to say I am not an expert on these things. Normally, Andi, that's yeah. And that's why we have these resource is when we have this whole, you know, a group of people and that can tell you about all of this. I'm just
