So let's get to the topic overview and let everyone know what we're going to be talking about today. Shall. We were excited. We're excited. We are bursting out of our seats. Ah, Calvin Cater once said, when it comes to the boxing, I'm a senior, he's a freshman and I'm gonna treat him as such. Max Holloway responded back and said, There's a freshman. And then there's a freshman that will come up and steal your girl. I'll be that freshman on this episode of Slip. The Jab. Max Holloway puts a once in a lifetime one sided beating on Calvin Cater. And let's everyone know, not only am I coming back to reclaim my throne, but I haven't even hit my prime yet. We'll recap UFC fight Allen. Seven. Explain why I feel like a traitor to my fellow countryman and give our analysis and slip picks for the most anticipated fight of the year. UFC 2 57. The Notorious Connor McGregor versus Dustin Diamond. Poor. Yeah, I got goose bumps. E We'll also answer fan questions. Debate Which fighters will be holding a strap at the end of 2021. And then what? I Come on, I wanna fuck your post fight song of the week has always we have too much to talk about. So why waste Tom? Let's get right to it. Oh, go. Don't let that. Come on. I wanna fuck you line scare you, bro. It sounds worse than it actually is. It's actually quite quite lighthearted. You'll like it. That's good. Okay, All right. First things first. Max Holloway defeating Calvin Cater via unanimous decision. Listen to these numbers. 50 43 50 43 50 42. You're you're you're You're my boy. Did it. Wow, that's an understatement. My boy did it. This is why he's my favorite featherweight of all time and talk to in the entire UFC most significant strikes in a fight. Most significant strikes and around tied for the most lopsided decision in a five round fight. What? What What's going on here? That 50 42 folks, if you don't want to do the math, break it down means not only did he win all five rounds, but three out of those five rounds were 20 rounds. That's crazy. That means like destruction like you were destruction. You were my You were my Bob. Uh, you were my bob a punching bag, bought a bob, stuck him in there, have a different name and said, Bob haven't been sparring, but you're not doing much. So the real question, the real question here is Who did Max put it on? Worse Ortega or cater because you put a beating on that boy. Alright. He put a beating on him. You would think it's Ortega for the simple fact that he finished Ortega and made him unrecognizable. He took a pretty beautiful man. He took a beautiful man and made him not so beautiful. But see, I'm picking cater because Okay, tell me why Cater has at that time in comparison Ortega at that time in cater now Cater has better hands. He has better striking his better boxing. So you know, we knew Ortega Ortega has evolved his game. But Ortega then was a ground specialist with not the greatest Stand up. Yeah, I think you said it right then. Yeah, he's definitely involved. So I wouldn't put him in that category now. But he was pretty preliminary at an elementary at that time. So to see Max do that Decatur and make Cater honestly looked like he was elementary man. And that fight was that was amazing. And it's not something. What was announcers talking about? Fight of the year? That wasn't fight of the year. Who the hell was listening to what The Nazis going? Hear anything? I was going crazy. It was one sided. It wasn't fight of the year, you know What? I'm glad you just said that because I was gonna end this segment by saying this death, this Excuse me. This definitely has to get nominated for a 2021 slippy award next year. One way or the other. This has to come up, but fight of the year. It can't because that's the reason we didn't give it to Fergie. Remember? We were saying it was one sided. You can't make Fight of the Year whenever it's someone just getting their ass beating of the year, which I feel bad. I like Cater E man, you call beating of the year beating of the year. In spite of the year, That's featherweight of all time. It's Max, the best featherweight of all time. It's hard not to put him in that category. After the fight, this fight was art. It was art. It was I could talk about this fight for, like, hours, to be honest and watch it over and over and over and over and over just to see the technique. Oh my goodness, it was just perfection. It really waas. And here's sorry if I'm a rambling. No, please. Just so awesome. My favorite move of the fight. I can't remember what round and I don't know who caught this and who didn't. But if you didn't go back and watch because it was kind of quick and subtle. But at one point Max, through a spinning back elbow, missed instantly, stopped after he missed and through Ah, hook with that same punch like hit the brakes and it wasn't like I practiced this move. It was that self awareness, like I through this and I completely intended to catch you with this spinning elbow. And it didn't just hurt and then brought it right back like Miss being hit him with. Like, Who does that? That's that's crazy. What's next for him? What's next for Max? My hope is Ortega beats Volkogonov ski now and then we get a rematch between Max and Ortega because I honestly think that Max is gonna have an easier time with Ortega than Volcano ski. And I know somebody might say Yeah, but that was then. This is now, just like you were saying. You know, Ortega striking has evolved. It's different now, but I think there's something about Volkogonov ski where he has Max's number not his number where he beats him. But But he has Max figured out, and Max has trouble with him. Sometimes there's those fighters out there that, for some reason or another, they have trouble with other fighters. I completely agree. But, man, if Max could perform like this again in future fight or fights this Max would have finished the other two. Max is finished him like if this Max went against Max verse Valkeakoski in the last two fights, this Max would have finished the fight. He beat himself. So you don't think it's just because it was cater? What's that? No, no, no, no. You don't think he was able to put on this performance because he was fighting Cater. You don't think I ever stood in front? Would have got that. I think he's just evolved that much like, yeah, he's just bumped it up. The fact that his combos, even with his kicks and some of the other things you know what? I have a little something here, all right? We haven't had one in a few episodes. I think it's been a little bit. I think so. Alright, Way told music. Why not? Yeah, baby all right. I am. I'm ready when you are. This one is called Blessed for the test. Tha this music has been so long. All right, here we go. Bless for the test and the first six seconds he showed he was a man on a mission, then continued to put on a five round art exhibition. Not sure if he was more obsessed or possessed, but one thing's for sure. He deserves the name. Blessed not to take anything from Cater, but he wasn't in it from the start. The Boston finisher showed he's a tough they come truly all heart. I knew Max could keep that pace for five and easily last, but I didn't expect that by the fifth. He would still be that damn fast. The next featherweight champ better skip out on the check because they don't want what's next. And that's Holloway on deck on. And this has been slipped. The spoken word within eb the blessed air. Uh, you had you were inspired for that one. Boy, I could tell that fight. I just That one was longer. Which means you were very inspired. I was I was You know what? It's gonna be hard to think of. Ah, that's our performance. I can't think of one off hand. That's like that's better than that performance That was nice by Max or by anybody thinking like by anybody, because there's people throwing that out there that it's the best performance of all time by anybody. Yeah, Zagato be in that conversation. Okay, just again. We have to watch who he was fighting. But I just want to throw that out there. True. You know what I'm saying? I just want to throw that out there. That's true. He fights poorer. He fights somebody else. Things get a little different. True, you know. So I I agree with that Gauges performance over Fergie was one that keep talking about for years. That was That was beautiful. This was Yeah, it's It's nice to see these people that you think they're at their top game. You think they're at their pinnacle. You think they've evolved to where they're done evolving, and in all of sudden I don't know what they're doing to reinvent themselves to that level. I just don't understand how he went from, You know, he was already top top notch in our eyes right on. Everybody does. He was a champ. He was well deserved, champ. And now he just said, Hey, set himself apart from himself. His former self, that camps on another level. Dude, they don't do a lot of interviews. They don't get talked about enough. But his whole camp is on another level. That's because they're working. Yeah, by the way, before we move on, how great is it having fans back? Dude, how great is that? I was so excited. I seen all the fans. I was like, Yes, it was pretty neat. I was so excited, man. Yeah. And did you see how they purposely kept shining the lights on the crowd? You see how they were doing that? Yeah, boys. Good. Just let these motherfuckers No, they ain't fucking around. They paid by any fucking rules I loved. I was like, they're doing it on purpose. Like look at the fans. We brought fans back, baby. Uncle Dana is like, shine them lights on. Everybody on And they did. You know that the fights we're gonna be on ABC now. What's up with that? I just seen on ABC and I got really confused. I don't think I knew that to, like, shortly before the fight. I don't think I paid attention. That, to be honest, Yeah, I still I just seen on ABC. Now my wife mentioned something about it, and I was like, I have no idea. I was like, I didn't know they were gonna be on ABC now. And I heard them talking about it for a little bit before. And then they did the Mohammed Ali thing. Did you see that? How they did the clip of Mohammed Ali. You missed that. It was at the very beginning. It was so good. Yeah, it was him and a dude that used to interview him a lot. I forgot his name. They were, like, joking around. You know, Ali was doing this thing. It was really good. But that was a great that. I gotta go back and watch how I miss that. Great night. Great night. Ah, lot of finishes. Here's one we have to bring up before we completely get off that card. Alessio di Cherry, co defeat in walking Buckley by ko Head kick two minutes and 12 seconds in round one. Okay. Now, for those who don't know, walking Buckley. He got a slippy award from us for the knock out of the year. Then just get it from us. Got it from a lot of different people now. I didn't see this fight going away. I didn't. I was Well, here's the thing. There's a few things we learned after watching this fight. Okay, one Buckley deserve to get knocked out for disrespecting the glove touch, right? You don't disrespect the glove touch unless you really have beef with someone. If you really got beef with someone, you disrespect the glove touch. Number two, you don't ride. Ah, hype train solely based off of Ah, Highlight finish. You see the predicament he found himself in? Okay. Okay. He had that beautiful highlight finish, and everybody thought he was hums odd. Everybody thought he was camel. And three. I'm a goddamn traitor, and I deserved to lose my money on that fight for going against my fellow countrymen like everybody else. I was on that Shu chu I was on that shoe to, and I paid for it dearly. A k A. $5.5 bucks down the giant on Buckley. I'm a trader, though, and people were saying that they were like you went against your fellow countrymen. You trade. I was like, I know I'm no good. I'm good for nothing. I got played to I was on the choo choo. I did not see that coming that caught me. Yeah. What are your thoughts on the fight? It was short that Zuhdi analysis there was caught. Let's see how it affects both of them. One you just knocked out. I don't want to say big name, but ah, moving fast name. So he just knocked out of moving fast name and then let's see, uh, Buckley. I mean, Holland took him out. He took him out. Let's see if one he recovers just fine mentally, and then be Let's see how he recovers physically. You know, you agree. This is why you don't put all your eggs in that basket for What do you mean, the fans putting all their eggs in a basket of a fighter just because he had a highlight finish? We didn't learn enough like you and I were saying last week. We don't really know enough about him. We're gonna find out this week. Is he just Ah, high train. Is he just, Ah, highlight? Is he a one hit wonder? Or is he somebody that can bang out records one after the other hot albums, one after the other. And considering because here's what we know about Buckley he can get knocked out and he could knock people out. So that puts him. You know what? If we try to look at the trajectory of his long term career, it's pretty unpredictable because it's sort of like Catch your be caught. We'll see what what side he's on. We have, ah, couple fan questions that came in about this fight. Let's take a couple of them. The first one comes from our boy at Rick, adding, He wrote in and said, Alessio di Cherry goes quite something, though getting mad at the UFC and the press like, bro, you just made a huge statement your force to be reckoned with. Don't throw a fit. My question is, are Italians really like this? Can't wait to hear your take on it. Well, go ahead, Lido P. Answer that one. I'm gonna come to my boys defense here. All right? For those who don't know, though, first of all, why at Rick Adan is bringing this up. What happened is after Allessio one when they were going to interview him in the octagon, he stopped him and said, I'm sorry, I can't do this interview. And it actually came off a little bit like a dick. Is that what purpose? So you okay? This is good. You didn't I didn't take it that way. Okay? See, some people took it like he was acting like a dick. But the reason he said, I'm sorry I can't do this Interview is it takes two people to dance. I don't like that. You guys on Lee interview the winner and not the loser, which I agree with 100%. And I've been saying for the longest time, boxing doesn't do that boxing. They interview both. Yeah, I miss the days where they interviewed both. They only do it like on title fights or special occasions. It's so stupid. It's so stupid. The only time it's warranted or oh, are they have merit. Thio not interview about is if somebody is seriously injured. Yeah, like Rogan had a point. He said that he doesn't like to interview people whenever because then you get those situations like D. C, even though it's classic, even though it's a classic. When D. C got knocked out by John Jones and he said, I don't even know, man, when you don't have your nemesis anymore your rival, what do you have? It was like a little kid, and I mean, it's a classic line and everything, but he feels like D. C wasn't there in D. C. Wouldn't have spoken that way had he not got finished that way. And I completely agree with Rogan. We both do. We think we've talked about that in the past, but other than that, I'm on a list Allessio side that they need to start interviewing them. They need to interview them both. So the other part of this is when he went to go do the post fight press conference, he said it again, But this time he said it in a nicer way. He said, Hey, guys, I just wanna let you know. I really appreciate what you do. I respect what you do so much, but I need to make a statement. This is the only way for me to do it. The only way I know how to do it. Pretty much I'm using my words a little bit is the only way I know how to do it. So I'm not going to do this interview. And I hope that changes things. Yeah, he had a forum. Yeah. Beautiful forum Protesting, bro. Protesting. He's using his forum. Exactly. Smart. Exactly. I didn't take it that way. It also e don't know how you could take it the other way. To be honest, I didn't. I'm with you that I didn't take it bad. I thought it was a nice thing he was doing. But to answer his question or a lot of Italians like this, I could tell you this. Ah, 100%. Yes. Italians have a lot of good qualities, but they have a lot of bad qualities. And one of the worst qualities is being stubborn and hardheaded, like when they need to make a point. Nothing's stopping them when they have to make a point to their detriment sometimes. But I like I said, there's a lot of people now, like look at it this way. Okay. Look at it this way. 90% of the time. When a fighter gives an interview. You don't really remember what he says. Let's all be honest here. You know what I'm saying? That you're the black beast. Unless you're the black beast. Exactly. Unless you say something crazy unless you say something memorable way Don't really remember what you said. If you're just gonna come in here with that. Thank God the God is my lord and savior, I think my coaches, I think, everybody I'm ready for whoever they give me. Blah, blah, blah, blah. You're not going to remember them. He made a statement. You're gonna remember him. Now. Look, people are talking about him, and there's a lot of people out there like you and I who are saying they're proud of him. And he's a true sportsmen. And he's a true professional now. So I think he did something good at Rick, adding, I got to say I think he did something good, but you tell us what you saw and I'm with you. Yeah, One last fan question that came in about this is from our boy at the product for 10. He asked, In my opinion, Buckley looks too small for middleweight. Yeah, the guys built like Michael J. A. Y and all. But do you think he's better? Do you think he'd fare better at welterweight? Yes, if he could make that weight and be healthy. Strong, Right? At first I did notice a big size difference. And then after he wrote in this question, is re watch the fights again. And I said, You know what I said? He is kind of small. It's either that or did. Jericho is big for that division. It's one or the other. So is he that tall? So So he is small for that division, I'd say. Okay, There you go. There you go, man. We agree with you on that one. Okay. Anything else to talk about on this card for right now, we're gonna touch on some more during the slip picks. But are we good for right now? Let's keep it moving. All right, let's keep it moving. All right. So here we go. This Saturday, UFC 2 57. It is the moment we've all been waiting for. Connor McGregor is back. He's one of those fighters. Where when he's out, we say good. Good for you. Stay out. We don't give a shit do whatever you want to do. And then suddenly, when the fight gets made, were wearing Irish shit. You're wearing all your Irish it Irish kicks. I'm wearing my Connor McGregor shirt. Everybody gets excited, right? That's part about it. He's fighting Dustin Poirier. This is the second time this is a good fight to make. I'm so excited for this fight. I feel like D. C and Rogan when waylay for fought. You wanna do You remember when they stopped and they were just like, Listen, we're just fans right now. I don't really know what to do right now. I don't know how to do this. I'm getting paid for Yeah, Figgy Marino. They just did it for figure. Marina. Remember? We had a fan question coming about it. We did. They said it wasn't professional. So we apologize right now if I if I turn a little Fanboy during this one. But how about this? Hit us with Samy analysis, Start us with that. And then maybe I can calm down a little bit and we could go from there. All right, before I get into that, Just so you folks. No, we're not discussing tomorrow. Kiesa. Magne, which is Wednesday afternoon. It's an afternoon, folks, So pay attention. But we already covered that last episode. So if you missed it, go get that one. And you'll hear information about tomorrow. Exactly. All right. Oh, I'm so excited for tomorrow and Saturday. So here we g o. We got Connor. We got Dustin. Now everybody says this, so I'll just get out of the way. They fought at 1. £45 before Connor starched him. And they are both different fighters now. Everybody emphasized that Connors the same fighter but poor areas really improved. But I disagree. They're both completely changed in personality and skills in maturity, so it's gonna be neat. They're in a different weight class. That's healthier for both of them, and it's gonna be exciting. So what did the size? What's that? And size Pour a looks a lot bigger, Bigger, healthier. Yeah. Now, some of the thing that I have to say that I've noticed in poor areas adjustments from their first meeting is his boxing has got a lot more crisp. So he's definitely brushed up in his boxing skills. His evasion, I should say of strikes is I believe a lot better. I think he was a little more of a rockem sockem robot in his earlier days. So that's something that he's going to use now. What he needs to dio. He needs to capitalize on the fact that he's adorable. His boxing's cleaned up. He's pretty well rounded. And his conditioning, his conditioning. This is a title fight or not. A title fight. Sorry, it's a five rounder, so he's gonna have to. It should be a title fight. I'm just gonna throw that in there. Sorry. Go ahead. All right. I don't know if I agree with you, we'll get back there. Oh, and why? It shouldn't be a title fight. Why? Could be coming back is could be coming back. Why are we holding up to division? Why? Because Dana is throwing Where? You know, you were so a spot on last week. Whenever you said Dana, just, uh, he just throws words out there that don't mean shit on. That's what he did again this weekend whenever they interview. And they're like, So you had that interview with Gabby. So how to go? What was saying? He was like, Yeah, I mean, in my opinion. Everything is in my opinion. Yeah, your opinion. Gods. That's where I could do with your opinion. What does that mean, Dick? That's good old gods means Dick. I could do dick with it. Learn something new every day. But with that on your bilingual resume sections gods. But yeah. Sorry. Go ahead. I feel like it should be a title fight. Why shouldn't it be a title fight? Let's get one thing first. We'll get to that. All right? You got me fired up. All right, We'll come back to the O Por Yai needs a poor needs to stay away from Connor striking for the first couple rounds. And he needs to do that by keeping his hands up, keeping his his body from protected from the front kicks. And he needs toe work on takedowns, even if he doesn't get him. People think Connor doesn't have a ground game. You're wrong, folks. Corner has a ground game. He's a pretty good defensive ground game e mean, if you don't believe me, you know who else wanna round against Habib, Ground specialist. I mean, anyone else? I was just gonna throw in there. Why do you think people say that about corner? Is it solely based on cab? No, no. He's been submitted, what? Four times in his career. Okay, so it's Diaz and Habib are the reasons they think that. Yeah. And prior to coming the UFC, he had to submission losses. So And we and we saw what else adds to that is, you know, against Diaz. You know that quick tap. He's had some quick taps. He's a quick tapper. We did a whole episode on that pretty much lends itself, But we're gonna make a lot of people mad by saying that I who What did He's a quick tap. Yeah, We're gonna make a lot of people mad. E mean the corner fan. But we're gonna get canceled, E you could be mad, but you can't tell me it's not true. You could be mad, but I'm right. Yeah, Eso porter is gonna definitely need toe work the ground, and and this is not necessarily Thio. Get a submission on corner. It's to tire him out because we've seen McGregor with fatigue issues as a fight progresses longer. So you're really gonna need to mix that up and go for the grind while protecting yourself. So keep away from the strikes and then go in for that. Ah, little bit later, and then we'll pay off in the 4th and 5th round. Now. On the other hand, if your economy Gregor, he walks. You know he starts a fight, he walks you down. He has a wide stance and he throws bombs. So even though that portrays, boxing has got a lot more cleaner. Ah, lot better. He's better at blocking and invading. Corn is still gonna find that mark. He's still gonna find that mark. So Connor should just do that. Come in, be a sniper, get it done, use his front kicks to the body and uses. Uses boxing uses, uses heavy power hand. Does he win? Does Connor take this corner? Takes it in under two rounds. Mama Mia. And here's why even my faith in the diamond I really like. If Diamond One and got a guillotine choke on him or you know he's a diamond. You don't think you could take that Irish pressure song like a word play right there? But here's why. Here's the difference. Dustin. He fights short. He throws a lot of stuff to the body. He throws a lot of hooks and uppercuts, which really wears on his pony because he does a lot of bodywork and then goes to the head, mixes up and then takes people out because he abuses the body with all power to. He's one of those fires that throws all 100% power, a lot of hooks, body head. He does that well. But because he throws so many hooking punches, it shortens up. He doesn't have particularly long reach to begin with, so throwing a lot of hooking punches shortens up your range. Corner, on the other hand, fights at a very long range for kick distance, and he has long reach and fights long strikes, and I think that's gonna really be the difference. He's gonna hit Dustin before Dustin gets into him. Uh, you're You're right. So that's I didn't think about that. You're right. But I'm a huge both the distance. Yeah, that corner confined at a distance. I didn't even take that into consideration. The only thing I was taken into consideration is you know, Connors, one of those guys where your best game plan is toe wear him out you have tow weather, the storm. You have to be able to take that pressure. You have to go deep, go deep into the fifth round if you can, and wear him out. Like how Dustin was saying he What did he say? Which is kind of, uh, non void. He said something along the lines off. He exposed corners, weakness, which is his cardio Now, A can't expose something that's already been exposed. You know, Nate exposed that a long time ago when he took him deep. Uh, so you have to be able to withstand ah, lot of pressure from Connor. Ah, lot of pressure. And, uh, I just, uh I'm not sure I see Dustin being able to take that much abuse from Connor. Connor finds Connor waits to find those openings, and he just has twice the amount of power I think anybody else in the division has with his punches. So that being said he doesn't You know Max Holloway? We just saw that beautiful performance. He was on the mark every time. Accuracy, speed. But he was major volume. Cloner doesn't throw major volume because he has power. He has a power account. Yeah, he makes him count more so. Corner throw it corner land in four clean punches might be a lot of other 50 fivers landing like 68 punches. That's just how it is. Imagine if Diamond actually beat him, though. Uh, imagine it would be crazy. And who more deserving than him absolutely more deserving than him. As far as he's a good guy and his record, Our boy at Cyrus King was just talking about his record. I think it was yesterday. He was saying how great it is and how great his record is, which is an amazing point for the last 9 10 fights. He's fought nothing but monsters. Oh, absolutely. He's fought nothing but monsters is not, um, or deserving guy out there. Yeah, I could tell you this. What's that? I'll make a prediction to You broke my heart to with your prediction, which I'll get to in a minute with my slip picks. But that's okay, because maybe you'll save me from losing money. But I have a prediction, too, and I know for a fact in the first round, as soon as this start this. Excuse me as soon as this fight starts, there will be blood. There will be a lot of blood in this fight in this first round as soon as it starts. And I know this because I have inside information from my boy Theo Von. Okay, let me let me hear. It s Oh, you gotta say dust then was on Theo Vons podcast e o Did you listen to it? Well, I listen, Thio, listen to that question, okay? And yeah, and pretty much poorer Just told him straight out he was like, Here's my strategy for the fight. He said I want to be bloody I wanna be bloody I want him to get bloody right away as soon as we start because that's gonna be the meter that tells me who wants him or and where we're heading He said, because this is gonna be a matter of just who can take the most abuse. Who's gonna be able to get hit and not go down? So that mentality I love it too. And when Dustin says it, it ain't no bullshit. A Mike Tyson Roy Jones Jr baby. We've seen him in wars. He's in wars. Yeah, he just had it with Hooker. I think we're going to see it again, E. I mean, but this goes back to our point that if they're exchanging like that and they're both going to get hit that much, I think poor is the one who drops first. Is the problem. Okay, now, like we said, we like Korea. Let's just see how it goes. We have no dog in the race way. Don't have a dog in the race. I'm a big fan of both, and I had to be honest, Aziz. You mentioned it to be the head of the show that that we were sort of wearing some Irish gear. I was thinking to myself, I don't have any diamond gear and I gotta get me some Dustin because of my fan. And then I'm thinking, Sure, we're on my blink. See, I was I wear my corner shirt, but a lot of blink. See, I see I was Here's where my mind went. I was like, Should I bring one of my bottles of hot sauce like my Louisiana hot sauce on? Just throw it up on the table. That's what I was gonna do. I'm like I need, like, e need something that represents He got his hot sauce. I gotta get his hot sauce. I'm definitely in his hot sauce. That's right. And I got a get a Dustin shirt cause I'm a big fan. Well, let's take good luck to both of them. But before we move on, let's take a fan question that came in about this one is from our boy at a T s m underscore podcast. He asked its McGregor fight weeks slip stirs in the spirit of that. What is your favorite all time McGregor? Press conference moment and you can't pick the Who the fuck is that guy moment with Jeremy Stevens? Who the fuck is that guy? This fucker? He knows us too well. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Heard that episode here. He knows this too well. That's all right. I'm actually glad he did this, all right, because he made me dig deep. All right, well, Jerramy Stevens moment. It ain't even my favorite moment. It's not even my favorite press conference moment. I have an original that I actually like better than that back in the day. And you're not gonna get a red pani, are you? Nope. I'm not gonna be that obvious? I'm not gonna do you, Actually, Do you have one? Do you wanna go first to do you wanna think about it? Why? I play mine. I have a clip. Here, let me. Here's I don't know if this is my final answer, but my preliminary answer is when he was talking about him is El Chapo and doing that nonsense for that one in his in his gear, The Rio one? Because let me see was some. That wasn't funny stuff. That wasn't funny stuff. Oh, no, I think he actually had one here. Hold on one second because I'll feel really, really bad. I think he gave his vote. Of which one was his favorite. Let me see. I have toe. I gotta pull up or or Twitter one second. I want to make sure that I get this in here. For some reason, something tells me he did. Yeah, he did. But it was on a separate. He threw it in afterwards on a separate comment. That's why I don't have it here. So he said mine is the world tour they did for Aldo versus McGregor, and he snatches the belt and calls himself the King of Rio. That was a good one. He's just has so many moments. Here we go. Here's my ultimate favorite of all time. So I'm glad he did this. It made me remember this. Here we go. I have a clip here, Connor fighting in the lightweight division and also now the welterweight division. Do you like breaking the rules? Yeah. I mean, I am the rule. I'm the only rule in this game, so it doesn't matter of weight divisions. Nate said he was ready to fight at any time, but well, he wasn't. He wasn't ready to fight at 1 55. He wasn't ready to fight at 1 60 1 65. So we give them 1 70. So they go every other day. Way E. Oh, wait, E Honestly, not like like next, little bro. You know what I mean? How can you not like? He's like he's like a little solo gangster from the with the same time he coaches kids to teach you on a Sunday morning, goes on bike rides with the elderly. Hey, makes gun signs with the right hand. I don't know balloons with credit to the community booth real credit to the community. You know, I actually said that to my dad when we got into a fight once, but But it was one of those, uh, like, said it, like under my breath while he was walking away. Type deal. We got into a really big fight one time. Not like a kid around. Fight with your dad, like, you know, You know, it's your dad. You got into a fight about something stupid like we were. We were fighting about something serious that went on for a long time, and they kept going and kept going. And I heard him say something like, He walked past me in the house and he said something like, E, I don't give a fuck like something like that. And I was like, I don't give a fuck, Kita. I thought I was calling McGregor for a second because Carter will do that. Teoh make you think he's There's a rap song. It's actually called that. It's like I feel like Connor McGregor. Yeah, and I thought I was Connor for E. Caught What? I said, like watch my son better E I don't give a fuck Kita. I don't give a fuck either. Yeah, but that's that's classic right day. Yeah. Yeah. Is somebody that was gang signs with the right hand balloons with the last Your real credit to the community? Yeah, that's a classic right there. Him and Nate Classic. You'll do. Norton then remember whenever they threw the water bottles. Security is a lot of good ones with the album. When he's when he told me it's not a press conferences, when he told me he couldn't count, remember, they were like, Please, guys count to 10 for us. He was They can't count to two or something and they got really mad. Yeah, he's quick with it. He's quick with it. He's He's speaking of press conferences. So what we got Thursday, right? Thursday, Him and Diamond? Isn't that the press conference for them, is it? I think so. I think so. But like I said, even I don't wanna be disappointed. I don't wanna be disappointed. I don't wanna get my hopes up about it. It's not gonna be a trash talking event, you know, this is gonna be respectful. Now, these air, they're raising money. They're doing charity stuff together. It's Kumbaya. Don't Don't worry, though, because I yell Stop once, Once the cage locked. Okay, well, what press conference we're not getting. When do we get corner? When do we get shit talking corner? Where we gonna get fight like fun? Press conferences back when he fights. Could be which is never in his mind. He thinks he's fighting him next year because he's a crazy maniac, e. I think he's fighting him and Pacquiao on the same night. Jesus. Yeah, he just said he's fighting. Could be. He said that this will be one of the easiest rematches for him, but the easiest will be ca Bebe. He's got away. He's got a way of getting other people scared. And you don't fight him. Yeah, he got some talk about some confidence, man, That dude, uh, if he really believes that could be would be one of the easiest rematches for him. Whatever is going on in that dude's mind, I want some. I definitely want to see every match with them, but well and more pending the outcome of this fight. If he if he were to dust the Dustin, then I'd really want to see it. Not as much I want to see Habib and GSP. Okay, Let let let me stop you there. My second favorite to see those two running back. Let me stop you right there. Okay? It's not for those who have been wondering why we haven't gone in depth into the whole ca Bebe Dana meeting because there's not really not. There's not anything that Yeah, there's nothing to talk about, really. But I have a question for you. If could be, does come back. Obviously, Dana has some sort of crazy money fight for him. That's how he's trying to get him back. It's all about money. It's all about money. I know it could be any money. Yeah, and I know guilt money, right? And I know Cab is going to say it's about legacy and this that. But it's about to scratch, Baby, you put enough money on the table, anything can happen. Okay. Do you think that the fight he's trying to get him to come back for is GSP or Connor? Which one is it? Which one is it? To be honest, I think he's probably saying I'll give you either because he wants him to come back so Dana might have an idea who he wants, but I think it's more of I'll give you who you want. If you come back, you could have either of those two. I'll give you either one. Let's be honest. I mean, as much as my crotch. Yeah, I'm not sure that I think GSP and I'll be might make more money than McGregor. No, stop it. You don't think? No, But I do. I'll tell you why. Why? Why? I don't know. I don't. And I'm not trying to insult your boy. But he's old news now to the newcomers to the new school. GSP is old news, bro. He's old news, my girl. Don't even know. Really. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I mean, she does, she does, but she don't know him like that. She don't like if we went to her and said what a big deal GSP was. She was like, Really? I didn't know he was the go. I didn't know that he was that great. I just I knew he was a fighter and I knew he was good, But I didn't know this and that, you know. But there's enough old school people out there. We're not that old. Sure there's more boomers, right? Isn't that what the statistics show? That there's more? Baby that is that why we have a lot of nurses now and shit? Because they need to take care of all the boomers you might have avoided here. That's a big demographic that people that know GSP, that's a huge demographic. And here's another way you can look at that is the older people are probably the ones who have a little scratch toe actually buy it the pay per view, you know? So I think if there's any bite that beats Habib interesting question. We should do one of them there, Uh, them them their Twitter polls. You're good at that, Mayor. Get them there there. Yeah, we'll have to do one of those. That's an interesting question. Which fight would make more money? GSP Cab or Connor? Could be, but I think Connor cab takes it hands down. But let's see. Let's see. I don't one last question for you because you brought it up real quick. Two minutes, then we'll get off of it. Um, we can't do that's what she said, because we already did it on that one. Uh, you said this should not be a title fight. Yes. Okay. Win me over. Why? Why should this not be a title fight? Why? Why? Because it wasn't. Excuse me. Pardon me. It wasn't a sign that or led to believe that when it started. You don't just drop it in now. Like, oh, like a like a like, no build up. Like you know what? Yeah. Let's just make it for a belt. Why not? Who cares? Because you want that. You want to anticipate the belt you wanna You wanna know the eye on that process, you There should be. You know, we talked about Ah, playoffs, if you will. An m m a. Ah lot. So I would say you put another key fight up there gay CI and somebody else. And then the winner of this fight, that fight, that's to be the title. Then it's known there's no secret nobody gets screwed over because, Gates, you could be like, Well, I'm really you know, I lost the champ last, and I should be a contender. And why am I not in the title fight? And this? That's the fair way to do it. That's the logical way to do it. You can't just say Oh, yeah, We'll just throw belt. You guys could get it. Because you know what? We're staring at you too, and you guys are making money. Let's throw belt. No. Okay. Did I win you over? You have it there. No, I mean, this is life. What happens, man? Shit happens. I love gay CI. And unfortunately, hey, lost at the well because he's done. He's done that way. Don't need to hold up the division despite it's not gonna get built up any more or less. If there's a belt on the line, I throw it on there. Why not have that? We need a champ. Why not? Why not? We just had the title fights. Not that old. No, but we need. But kabobs. He's done. He's done. I put the winner of this fight, which is happening in a couple days. Schedule another quick one with what gauge Olivera and the winner of that fights. And that's for 1 55. Okay, but you're everybody gets a trophy over here. But then what happens if let's say, let's say, uh, let's say, Dustin, let's say Dustin wins, All right? Okay. He fights for the title next, and then he loses the next fight, and then he can look back and say, I should have had the But I could have had the boat. I would have been the champ E. I mean, I'm just going off your logic here. You're going off your logic that it's not fair because this person should have had the fight. It's kind of unfair to them. No, it should be announced when? When somebody leaves. It's not like you. There's not somebody with a belt. Eso you're going off to fight with that? It's a vacant belt. So make some sort of thing. I will let you have this one makes Makes some pyramid make some tournament that gets you to achieve. You don't have one. Why? Why? Just give what? What makes this one. Because of timing, one leaves. This one is the closest to that belt. So let's make it for the time. That's just like filling in with timing. No, I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna give you this one. Not saying I'm gonna give you this one like I'm letting you have it. I'm gonna agree with you based solely on the fact off. Like you said, the fight was made already before Habib left left. Okay. All right. I'm a fair guy, Right? That is all right. Five. That was a fair guy. High five. That was because I'm gonna I'm a winner. I wanna be a winner. I got the whole five. Okay. 2.5. All right, let's keep it moving. We got we have another fight that we have to discuss on this car real quick. We got Dan Hooker. People made me dio Twitter polls title. All right, We'll do two of them dumb their Twitter polls. All right, we have another fight we need to discuss. Dan Hooker versus Michael Chandler. I was so sick when we did the Lena Kalkhoven episode. You said this like, four or five times. You're like and Dan Hooker. Michael Chandler. I'm so excited for Dan Hooker Micro Chandler and I'm like, Yeah, I don't even hear what you're saying right now. I didn't even when I when I watched back, I was like, Oh, I didn't even know that fight was made. That's when I first learned that that fight was even made before that. I hated that card. You know, I was talking a lot of shit of that's, you know, it's to be expected. They don't need to make a big card. Corner sells the card on his own. This card now is becoming good. It is becoming good. I'm excited to We finally get to see what Chandler could do in the big leagues. They threw him to a shark right away. He's fighting an absolute murderer for his first fight, sink or swim time baby threw him to the shark. Sink or swim. Let's hear what you have to say on a quick analysis to amenity analysis. I gotta keep it moving. All right, I'm going to start by saying, I don't know who wins this fight. Michael Chandler can knock him out with a straight right hand, and hooker could knock him out in, Ah, my Thai clinch with a knee up the center so I could see both of those things happening equally. Not to mention they have both been in wars like one of the best fights of all time. You wanna talk about fighting the night fight of the year fight of whatever. Eddie Alvarez and Chandler are in that conversation. So if people haven't seen that fight in Bela Tor, please go watch it because it is crazy. It is epic. It is. That's a good one. It is one that not a lot of people. Yeah, and if you doubt, you know, we give. We've been given Chandler, you know, Ah, little hard time because he's stepping into a premier organization calling shots and, you know, being back up for title shots. And that's the only reason why I was picking on him. That's the reason why. But it's not his fault. It's not his fault, his fault. And let me assure you, kid, I kid, I kid, I kid when it comes to Chandler. And let me tell you, just because we all again we're here. You guys, you came from ballot or so you're on. Ah, lesser tier. You're on a different lower level. Chandler is UFC level. So I'm excited for this. Chandler, what he's going to need to do and find out, mix up his power doubles and take downs and grinding along with his power right hand. He's so explosive, that's that's the key to Chandler. He'll zap you with a to punch combo, which is straight power and speed and catch you if he'll catch you being slightly laxed and what you're doing. And then we have Hooker, on the other hand, who can fight long? Sometimes he doesn't. He should fight long. He's 6 ft Chandler's, I think. 59 I think you have seen Elizabeth 57 He's a small somebody else. Put him at 58 I'm pretty sure, he said he was 59 but there is the height difference. But then again, we have Chandler. Who's what knocked out Rickles. Rickles is 6 ft, so it's not like Chandler has. He gets into tall people, so people think that height, distances that height differential is gonna matter. It's not. Chandler is good at getting and reaching up and catching them in the face. A lot of folks power hooks. Yeah, he'll kill. Find that that range eyes, not the game changer between those two people think it is. I'm telling you, it's not so, but as best you can. Hooker, fight long strike, stay in a circling outside and stay away from his power hand. Chandler grind, takedown strike takedown strike, takedown strike at the pressure And there we dio fight boom! Perfect. There's nothing for me to add. You send it perfect. We'll see what happens. Let's get to the slim picks. So last week's results I got got really nice and proper with no Vaseline. That's my boy. Ice Cube would say perfect example of why I don't put a lot of money on these fights. I went to for nine in my nine fight. Parlay for a buck only had a dollar on it, but I went to for nine eso my pride hurts. Then I went one for three on the podcast picks. Listen, even though, man, listen, Goddammit, I feel that my picks were good. I feel the shit didn't go the right way. That card, like everyone we thought was gonna win to be upset. Evening. It was. It was Was it not upset? Even it was okay. All right, But I went one for three on the podcast picks. I have Max Holloway straight up at minus 1 88 1 that conduit verse brown to not go the distance at minus 1 10. Lost that and Toto straight up at minus 1 70. Lost that. And how about that lead knockout over ponds? Onedio. I mean, people didn't expect that I had ponds onedio on my part of people. Didn't expect after leads less performance against Magne and Old Ponzi after. I mean, he's had a layoff, but he's been crushing people before the layoff. Yeah, that was an upset. Many Zais. But let's talk about we talk about Condit. Talk about Condit real quick. I know you wanna talk about your boys and then I have something to say about Toto. Alright. You you were making fun. You were making boomer comments and old school fights and stuff about those two. Right? I said I said those two are gonna fight and deliver because that's what they dio young, 40 years old, 36. Whatever. Did they not bring it? They brought it. They brought it. I agree that it was gonna be a I said it would be a great fight. And that's how you take two dudes who are getting long in the tooth and that's how you use them. And it was perfect and it was perfect right there to their matchup. The matchup was good and it lived up to that match up 100%. But I will say there is something that you can see when there's two older dudes fighting where you can tell like they're they're giving it their all when you're happy for that. But it's still there's not as much speed. There's not as much power. There's not as much strength, but they're still giving it their all. So you're really happy because they're giving it everything they have. So I will say that that's why my bed for it not to go the distance. It was probably a bad bet. And I blame you because you're because you were supposed to tell me. You know, that's not a good one again. Long in the tooth. I'm the e analysis expert here. I'm here to help you cheat on your test. You know, you're that guy in high school. We were in high school right now. You're supposed to help me. Your that friend who I sit beside and you're like, No, you know that's not right. Like, scratch it out and put this You let me down a little bit. Sorry. You like how I like to blame you. when I lose. But when I win, I take all Alright. Well, Royal Great a bag. Not your fault. Okay, let's get to Toto real quick. I have one thing I got to say about him, Okay? Because I made a big deal about him last week. I talked him up. That's why I have to take a minute to talk about him. All right? He got a little too cocky and played himself, all right? He kept his hands too low. He got caught slipping. In your opinion, was there any technical reason for him to keep his damn hands that low? After he got caught the second time? Because after the second time, he got caught. I said, OK, now it's time to get serious with your showboating. Was he a little dazed? I don't think so. I think he was doing that because he knows how good he is. And I think he was trying to show about a little bit and I could be wrong. And that's why I wanted to ask you what you saw. Because I still see good things for him. He has a lot of heart. Dude, He's one of those dudes got a lot of heart. Look, look at what happened. He didn't want to give up. He didn't want to give up. Do you see the same stuff I see in him? What do you think about it? Sometimes people do that for a couple of different reasons. You know, after you get tagged or once you realized somebody has that kind of power, then maybe his corner and I couldn't hear. Maybe his corner was telling him. Put your hands up now or do that. I don't know, because I couldn't hear. But, you know, like you said, if you go against a major power person, you might have to change up your game plan or if you get clipped and you felt it, maybe it's time to put your hands up, But you know, it's not always the person that keeps her hands low, is yes, as you put showboating, because if you know you have a speed or an evasion advantages in slipping punches whatnot, you will. You might do that or even keep your head forward and your weight distribution of your feet a little different because you're drawing them into counterpunch. So it's a great strategy. That's how he thought. Michelle Pereira. It's a great strategy. If if you have the speed and evasiveness to draw somebody in, you put your face on a platter, you keep your hands low. I mean, okay. So he wasn't just showboating? No, I think that's a against a strategy, and he's been successful at it. You know, Forman, George Foreman would keep his hands low and pop his jab from there, and he was very effective and very powerful in it. So, yeah, it's a good way to draw somebody in and then throw two or three pieces. So his style failed him. Yeah, his style failed. Damn it. But I wouldn't say it's a bad. Maybe after you get clipped. Maybe your corner says Hey. Yeah, your what do you think about him? Would you think about him? You see what I see in him? See good things on him? Yeah, he looked He looked particularly swift at that weight class. Yeah, he did. He looked quick. He I mean, he did a lot of good before he took a few. We'll see. He was fast and nimble and moving around. So he's got some skills We'll see what happens with him about the stoppage. Early stoppage. Yes or no? I thought it was an early stoppage. Mhm. I mean, I know you got knocked down. It was like, the third time he got knocked down, But still, he went for the ankles. And I think, um, we throw it up real quick. He even said Throw what up? No, we don't have time to do that. We'll have to do it another time. You have to tell me after the podcast. I don't think it was it. I don't remember. I don't remember thinking to myself. That was an early stoppage. Just because he got he got How many times did Ugo damn it? Let me just bring it up. You know I can't do that. You know, I'm not good with that. Let's see either to die, Toto versus not to be confused with photo. Not loopy. He's lining them up. Good man. Good thing There it is. C e O Back e. I mean, you could watch, so he hits him, Okay? Watch goes down, grabs, goes to grab his legs. Tell me that ain't in early stoppage. Dude, you know what? I could I get agree with that? But I could also agree it was an okay one since he got he got It wasn't at the third time you got it. That's why I said, Yeah. I mean, when you're getting if it happens this boxing like there's no three knockdown rule. No, but crying in baseball when you get I mean, it is a reaction on instinct that when you get hit like that, you grab. I mean, it's it's instinctual. It doesn't mean you're even conscious. We went through this. Didn't dominant. Cruz. Didn't we have a poll big segment on? Wasn't that the dominant Cruz fight when he went for and we were saying, That's instinct? Yeah. So it was OK when Dominick Cruz did it, but when Toto does it, I'm not saying I'm not saying it rocket. I would have let it play to make content here, but I got to do something I would I'll give you emoji. I would have liked to see it go on for a few more seconds, Okay. Probably would have. It probably would a same outcome, but I thought it was an early stoppage. Okay, let's move on. So we got this week's picks. All right, we got Lacazette straight up at minus 1 98. That's coming up tomorrow. That's on the Wednesday card. Then I got Connor straight up with the money line at minus 2. 90. Give me your thoughts on this one. Wait, wait, wait. Are you Are you Are you Are you not picking a finish to? I'm just going. Connor, straight up the money line at minus 2. 90. But do you like Connor straight? What do you like? You like Connor? If my t k o Connor wins, it's gonna be by T k o. All right in. I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna bet it. So we're going. Connor, let me see what the line is on there. Do both. So if you lose, I don't feel bad. Well, okay, let's see what? The thing I know you gotta have probably great odds on that. Okay, So corner corner by K o T. K o minus 1 80. Okay, So bad. All right. I'll bet it. What the hell? I'll bet it's a UFC card. I bet a little more on for the UFC cards. Okay. You are a mush. It's what scares me when it comes to bend like you'll be You're right. But then when we place a bet for you, we lose. So it scares scares me so Connor by K o T. K. Oh, shut up. So at minus 1. 80 okay. And then give me your thoughts on this one. No, you already gave me your thoughts on this one. I was gonna ask you What do you think about Connor? Peoria? To go over 2.5 rounds. It's plus 1 50 if it'll just go over 2.5 rounds. But you said it's gonna be under two. I do think it's not gonna go past to, to be honest. Jesus. But then there are good odds. Well, under his minus 1 92. Yeah, but you think it's gonna be OK? Well, I guess I'll stay away from that one then. Okay. And then, uh, and then I got hooker verse Chandler to not go the distance at minus 1 18. I got hooker straight up with the money line at minus 1 32 and in honor of my boy at Unmatched Mm A. I'm taking hooker by ti ko in the second at plus 8. 50. That's just for fun. Okay, that's bold. Sometimes I like to bet somebody else's pick just for fun. Like I'll hear them have some kind of crazy pick. I'm like, I know that got good odds. So plus a 50 I put a few shekels on it. I've never hit it. I've never I've never hit it yet. You fucks. Let's change it up this week, huh? You know what? That fight honestly wouldn't surprise me if it went the distance it was up there for. Fight of the Year would not surprise me. Hooker Chandler? Yep. Okay, let's see. I'm not saying change a bet. I'm just saying No, no, no. That fight went the distance and was up there for conversation of fight of the year. I would not be surprised at all. I'm curious to see now what the odds are if it goes over, it's not up yet. Over under is not up yet because those who are going to try to kill each other. They both have major points to prove, and they are going to bring it, and they're gonna They're not going. Neither wanted going down easy too much heart and pride rolled up in those two fellas. Right? All right. Oh, this is good. Now we got you and that I matched them in May. You guys have, like, your own little back going on here. You think he's gonna be wrong? Let's see. Let's see what happens next week. Okay, so those are the picks, everybody enjoy the fight. I hope you guys make some money. I know, but it's We're an hour and we got We've been doing so good, E. I hope everybody enjoys the new time we have now. You know, I hope that they like the new length of the podcast cause we haven't asked yet, so we're gonna have to see if people like that. It's a little shorter now. Are they upset? And they feel gypped because we're not giving them a zoo. Much content. We cut like an hour of content. I cut a day and a half out of each eso we're gonna have to find out, but Okay, so let's move on. We're going straight to the fan questions this week. I cut the current events completely because a fan question came in that it's so good. I thought it needed a little more time. So let's get to the fan questions, shall we? Please? We love them. They're saying it's the bank. It's the motherfucking slapstick gang. And let me ask you when do you think the time will come when you don't mess up the fan question sound? You know what? I pretty much knew you were going to say that any time you hit that little board over there, I say some shit. When? When do you think the time will come? What episode? Exactly When you're like we do that every time. When when he goes to hit the button, I need not do that. E Do that a lot, Mookie. Blame me. And I know. All right. Thank you, Mookie. Things to work on for next week, folks. I'm gonna try. Let's see. Okay. S Oh, here we go. Let's get started. So this question comes from it comes from I'm already laughing at Underscore the Jorge. Get it? The W h O. R. S pretty funny. Hey. Wrote in and sent us a list of who he believes is going to be the champs in each division by the end of 2021. All right, We got plenty of time, all right? That's a lot of time to make speculations this early in the game, he asked, how do you guys feel about my list and what would you change? Um, I could tell you right now before we get started that Ian thinks that Hamza Camel will be the champion every division by the end of the day. Stay away from 1 35. Okay, so here we go. We're going to start a heavyweight and go down. Okay? So for heavyweight, he has Are we discussing each one first? Are you gonna just what we're gonna do? I'm gonna say I'm gonna say the division, who he has and then we're gonna say, agree, disagree. If we disagree, that's the only time we're going to stop and talk about it. There's no need to talk about it if we agree. Alright, What if we're on the fence? Do we give up? Were on the fence. You could say I'm on the fence. That could be this. Okay. All right. So, heavyweight John Jones, I agree. I agree. Okay. Light heavyweight style Bender, a k a. Israel Adesanya I agree. I agree. Okay. Middleweight division. He has style Bender again. I agree. I agree. But my question was he gonna have to drop the strap? Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Gonna be able to. Is he gonna Amanda Nunes and be able to bounce pretty quick back? Or is he gonna stay at one or not? Has he said anything? Hey, says a lot, but I don't know what that shit he says Now, I don't wanna I don't listen to any more. Now I just wait to find out when the fight's going to be made with that guy e I lost my interest in What is he has to say on Twitter. So and then we got welterweight. Alright, here we go. Things are getting interesting. Now he has wonderboy for welterweight. That's interesting. I disagree with this one. I disagree with this one. I think there's ah lot of ah lot of other options that are going to be the welterweight champ at the end of the year. I don't even think I think timing alone is gonna fit him in to a title shot by then. Interesting. Why do you say that? Cause there's other fights that have toe happen that might have title, um, implications or on deck. I mean, because, I mean, let's take it to some of the people we have in the mix. We have burns. We have Colby. Colby. Leon knows island way have, obviously the champ whose yes, newsman's in there. Yeah, we have. We have mas. But all street Jesus is in there And don't forget. Got homes out in the mix now hums upbeat. It's Leon Holmes like its title shot. That's it. I don't wanna hear nobody say any different. If he beats, knows Island, he's getting the title shot. And then they might put Mas Vidal against Wonderboy again. Like that fight they do, they would like guess and you got to get past him. You gotta get past. But I like Kobe Mas Vidal better. First I got to see it first. I got to see it first. I don't think Colby Mas Vidal be as fun. The fight won't be. It's fun. The buildup will be incredible. Correct. But Wonderboy Mas Vidal will be a fun or fight, I think. Yes. Yeah. So we disagree on this one, but we have to ultimately give somebody who do you think it's gonna be? Who's gonna hold the strap, man? I wouldn't be surprised if the current champ is still holding it, but I won't be surprised if Hamza has it. I agree with what you said. All right, I'm going big on this one. I'm going Homs at Oh, just for fun. I'm going home because I don't wanna picks newsman. It's either him or Hughesmen. You go Hughesmen ago homes out. We cover both basis. Okay, Cool. Alright, so let's move on to the next one. Here's another interesting one for lightweight. He has Dan Hooker. No eso disrespectful e I agree with it's No, it's just you came out so fast. I'll tell you what respect on this one, man, because, ah, beast, He's well rounded. He's moving up. If you said 2022 we'd be having a conversation respect on this one because there's not too many people out there. If we play this game with, like, 100 people, you're not going to see that many people say Dan Hooker. So that tells me you know my man here, my man Jorge, ain't no Baba committed No Bob. Bob Bitch! Eso respect to you? Um, So who holds the lightweight strap? Oh, there's a corner. Might be because it Connor, if it if cabbie was really out, see if Habib's back in. Habib holds that boat. If Habib's out, it's Connor. Connor will Probably We gotta go with whatever we know right now, e. I don't know what we know is compete in or I don't know. You gotta make a decision. I'm going. McGregor, go, McGregor. Okay. Cabbie, listen, this is what I think. I think if kebab comes back, it's on Lee for one more fight. It's only for one more fight, and it's gonna be sooner rather than later. That's what I think. So I think even by the end of the year, he will wait. He won't be holding it. Well, we gotta figure out when z go on religious holiday, it's I don't know. What is it? Ramadan? Is that what it's called three months in the summer ish early summer? I'm going. Connor, I'm going with you. Connor will be the champ. Connor will be the champ this year. He's gonna be holding that strap. I'll give you another reason why it might be corner, because if Connor gets it, it gets it early. Connor has a tendency to hold things way longer. You know, he has a tendency to hold up divisions. Exactly. Okay, like a couple mill and then come back. I like our pick. Okay, we're going corner for lightweight for featherweight. Here we go again. He ain't no Baba. He's going. Calvin Cater. Calvin Cater, even after what just happened to Max. Now, come on. Your own video right now. Look at your Come on. Now. You're getting nonsense on me. Well, here's the thing. Alright. Not got Max for this one. Max will be holding the belt. Cater might still be like in the hospital for internal injuries by New Year's Eve. Yeah, you know what? I'm very interested. I want you to write in Max Holloway right in and tell us why you had Calvin cater for this. That's it. I mean, that's a super interesting pick. What do you see in there that you think Calvin Cater was gonna hold the strap? Because I I don't see how that's gonna happen. Yeah. Sell us. Yeah. Tell us a lot of selling. All right, So then we have for bantamweight. We have. Ah, Petr Yon a k a. Pittsburgh Peter Yan Sterling, this is a good one. But you gotta watch out. You've got Jermaine Sterling in there. You got Al Joe. So I agree with you. I'm going, Sterling, I'm going. I'll go to for that one. And then for the featherweight, he has Cody, no love. Now, this is another strong possibility. But you got figgy Goddamn ax murderer! Wait, You mean Bantam! Wait, wait, wait. Which ones? Wait. Wait, Who? Um, Ex. Excuse me. This is the its's written down. It's written down here. Wrong. So you're talking What? My apologies, flyweight. Okay, so, Featherweight, we're talking. Max. Featherweight, we had Max handsome. Wait, We had Joe and Flyweight, who you got? Because I think that if Cody can't pull it off, Cody is a good one. That that that's a good pick right there. That's a good pick. But if Cody can't pull it off, I don't see anybody else beating Figgy. So I'm gonna keep figure there. I'm Yeah, I'm with you. I'm keeping figure there, so we got all right. We had figure for flyweight. There we go. We knocked that out. Did you like that? You look at your still. You you look at your still stuck on here. No, I'm just I'm going back through to think if there's any changes, because we did. We went through that pretty quick, but I think I'm comfortable. Jon Jones. Comfortable style Bender style Bender. Guzman Hamza. That's the only one we disagreed on. Lightweight corner, Featherweight Max, Bantamweight Al Joe and then Flyweight Fiqi. Well done. Where women at We're all the white women at We're all the white women at. Yeah, he has to *** your homework assignment, my friend, is to go do the females too easy. That could possibly be very easy unless a man believes. I mean, if Amanda don't leave, it's Amanda. Amanda. Valentina. The only one is the straws. That's that could get interesting. That could get interesting. Whaley arose, but I still think it be lately, but yeah, you let us know. Maybe he didn't do it because he's either he's either sexist or he just thought it was too easy. He'll let us know. His name's dude. He ain't scarred. His name is the Jorge. Hey, ain't scared of shit? No, no. All right, all right. So, uh, Okay, Question. Let's move along. So the next question comes from at super necessary with two wives. They asked. Firstly, in your opinion, which fighter has the best body shots or uses them most effectively to be put on the calendar in our what? Oh, God. Why did get up Jesus most effectively. And also just because I've seen it quite a bit recently. Which fighter has the best striking simple for me? Best body shots come from power. LaCosta Best striking comes from Izzy with Corner as a close second. That was an easy one for me. So we're talking for their division. Not you're not comparing like cost is power to anybody else. I'm saying Paolo cost a has the best pound for pound Best body shots in the UFC. Hands down, hands down! Go back. And what if anybody needs a fresh reminder? Ok, don't let that shit for you. His fight with is he Go look at his highlights and go watch his body shots. They're vicious. He is the most vicious body shots because, I mean, after that last fight, Holloway's in that conversation because he was throwing some devastating shots and poor is definitely in the conversation because poor, you gotta pick one. Jorge lands his head shots because people start to cover it up their body because it's taken abuse. Who else would get for body shots? And who else is in the conversation? I don't even want to consider anybody else because I like my pick. Pablo Acosta. I've always said this. I've said this on this podcast. I preach about it all the time that Pablo Acosta has the best body shots. They're crazy. They When I watch them, they look like they look like he's got a break. Somebody in half. You can hear them. You can hear them when he throws the body shots. So pick one and then pick the best striking. We ain't got all day, my man. You wanted to shorten the podcast? This is what a shortened podcast looks like. E don't know. I picked because I can't get cost his last fight out of my head. I knew it. I knew it. Did I not say that? Did I not just saying that out of my head? Why don't don't be like that. You might be right I'll go with you. Okay. I'll go with you. This is what happened with the soldier of God. Would you? You never liked that guy no more. You hated his fricking guts When he went away for the UFC. He was happy, you said. Good. Get him out. Hey, if he does something over over there, over over there, then we'll see. Um, by when I say something, I mean, like, hey, fight. Oh, that poor man. He left a bad taste in your mouth. Did. Alright, are in best striking. I just One should be easy for you now. I think I agree with you. Which one is he? What corner is a second? Strong second. All right, there we go. All right. Thank you for the question, guys. Check them out. By the way, their creators as well they have a podcast. Um, the next question comes from at slip. Stir Ogi. What up, boy? He asked With the flyweight division in its current state looking better than ever and so much fun to watch if d J came back, where would he rank? How does d J beat Figueredo in a hypothetical matchup? Take this one e you'll do it. Justice. This is your dream. This is everything you've ever wanted in the fan question. If we're talking about, like, a dream fight, that that's up and that might be one of mine. I want to see Figgy and Mighty Mouse go at it. This is everything you've ever wanted in a fan question. Take it. How does it go? He wants to me. Analysis on is a potential threat. I'm actually mad at him right now because he sort of said potential medical. Yeah, he got the name. You gotta work on that, buddy. No, man, Uh, if if figgy has the strength, Mighty Mouse has the speed. Not by much. This was a few years ago. He'd have it by more, but he slowed down a little bit. Mighty Mouse has, um, power and strikes. Is figgy fight like you is Mighty mouse. They both mix it up. I would have probably given Mighty Mouse the advantage to mix it up everywhere. But after figis last performance pick, he he proved he's at ah, better level than I thought he was a faras mixing up strikes and pressure and angles and things. Um who would you give speed too, Mighty Mouse. Okay, not by as much. Not by a bigger margin as it would be four years ago. How old's mighty mouse now? I don't know, Guy. Keep talking. I'll look it up. I think it's speed has slowed, though. Um Oh, it's a tough one. It is a tough one. Remember? We're on radio. Alright, I'm going with Just do me a favor, please Don't give me agita. I might get with Mighty Mouse. You're going Mighty Mouse. Okay? Yeah. Is there any He's 34. Is there any particular reason you want to sum it up and say Mighty mouse because of this? That's how I would Mighty Mouse because his transitions are faster and smarter. Okay, He has smarter transitions. Figure has good transitions from striking the ground up. The Swiss jiujitsu wrestling. Mighty mouse does it. And it's not just reaction. There's like there's planning involved. Like I'm moving this way, not the hope to catch you something. I'm moving this way to get you in something to set you up. I don't think I'm ever gonna bring mighty moss up on this show. And not because he doesn't sell thing throw out there. What would you say? Because he doesn't turn the NATO. He doesn't. So, no, no. I was going to say there's never gonna be a time. I don't bring him up and then follow it up with He doesn't get enough credit and he's not in the goat conversation. Enough. It upsets me to no end. And And I feel bad because it's all because of his division because of his weight division. He was a big dude. We wouldn't be having that, like, if he was at least at least a lightweight, We wouldn't be having this problem. But at the same time, I always wonder I go back to this and I say, Okay, but if he was bigger, would he be able to be this good? Like is hiss size the reason he It's just It's the God made him perfect. Yeah, e I mean, you could say, Well, if in Ghana was ah, Flyweight, would he hit his heart? Yeah, I don't That's what I'm saying. Would he He wouldn't that right? So, I mean, it's just a undetermined herbal question. Yeah, that's so chicken or egg. Yeah. So yeah, I agree. It used to be funny to me that Ah, lot of people would talk about who's pound for pound best when Mighty Mouse was, you know, in the USA, champ. Oh, mighty Mouse, Mighty Mouse. Jon Jones. Mighty Mouse. Mighty Mouse. John. You know what? And then all of a sudden, he's not selling. He's not selling paper views like everybody's like, Oh, if you ask all the other fighters mighty mouses. Awesome. We love watching Mighty Mouse. Mighty Mouse does This is this this and everybody knows it. But people are People aren't buying it because paying needle. Yeah, move the needle, Which just blew my mind. Like I don't know for me. I want to see your the best. I wanna see you fight. I'll pay. Well, thank you, man. Thank you. You made Ian's Day. Everybody go check out my boy. Um, at slip stir. Ogi extended family. A powerful life Makes the best clothes. Got a podcast to PTSD pot. Check him out. That's it for the fan questions. So if you're part of the m m a Twitter community and you have it ran into him yet? Give him a follow. Check out his twitch, check out his Blawg. If you're another creator, I know he's looking to clap with people. So hit him up, Get your creative orgy going askew. Could say, Look, I'm being very friendly that I'm showing a lot of people out. You notice that? That's good. You know why? Because I felt bad last week. It hit me that Ah. Ah. Lot of people support us on mm. A twitter all the time. And since I don't go on Twitter as much anymore, I you know, I feel guilty sometimes, Like, I feel like I should, you know, shot people out. So on today's episode, I put mawr creators. You know, it's good because you're shutting up good folks. Yeah. Yes, we got more listeners than we do followers. So this is where accounts if we say something on here, you know, we love you getting the word out. Yeah, I just remember that. All right, let's get to the post fight song of the week. Shall we Alright. I'm curious as I always am. The come on, I wanna Fuca. That's all I put in the thing. Come on. I wanna That's the best way to describe this. You seem happy and confident. I am Okay, I got it pulled up. Are you ready? I'm ready. Alright. One day he be the king off the UFC Oh eight, a group of four and there is not be pushed over now. Here to take part. They were here to take over from the start. So, Floyd, watch this. The Irish. You're coming. You can talk all you want. You know, you're a record on E. He's gonna e u e o u e o a beautiful. You like I love you like you know why I named it. First of all, first, I have to remember to do this every week. I always forget this song is called There's only one Connor McGregor. It's by Mick Constant in. That's the name of this kid. All right, That was awesome. And the reason I called it. Come on. I wanna foca is because I really wanted something to celebrate Max this week. But at the same time, I was like, Man, is Connor build up, you know. So I was kind of strung with both, and I was like, Oh, dude, there's only one Connor McGregor has that Hawaiian sound to it on. It's talking about Connor. Let's bring them all together. And if you remember going back to the beginning of this episode, what did I say? Surprise. Surprise the blessed eras back and I mix them together. Dude, everything goes full circle, baby, you're a plan and man producer 30 years e. K. Myself the order like a jerk off riddles and missed riddles and missed. But did you like this? Oh, man, I like it. It's old. It's old song. But at the same time, I was like, Man, if nobody's heard this one, this is a treat. This is a real treat for everyone, and I know it's it has Floyd Mayweather and it, but it's still good, even though it has that. But I like Irish music, and I like Ali music. I didn't bled him together. It's awesome, and I like the way he says it in the song Floyd Mayweather. It was good wetter that hey says it. Yeah, it's pretty dope. That's a good That's a good song. It was good. Well, don't you get a trophy for that? Yeah, OK, trophy. But you get a trophy on and I let it play because I seen that you were liking it. Songs like let's let's keep this comment. And it has. And I'm gonna tell you another reason why it fit. You ready? Here's another reason why fit at 80 s m underscore Podcast. They asked what Our favorite press conference waas on. Once they get one, the only thing that goes through their mind is Why did I not do this way sooner? Right? I know. It sounds like I'm telling you our package. There's nothing out there like that. Nobody theme, amount of time and money that we put into it. Love. Yeah, Let's put it this way. When I showed it, Mookie was the first one to get one. I sent him one because he sends me close. I sent him one. When he's seen it. He was like, bro, he was like this. Like this. You went all out and I asked him about the price. Like should I drop the price? I'm worried that it's 29 99 instead of 25. And he was like No, dude, don't do that. Don't He was like, Dude, this should be more. You should be charging more for this. That's how nice he said it. Waas. So I'm telling you, when you get one of these, I wish they could get it in their hands. I wish they could see and then they would understand why we say it is what it is. Yeah, the quality of the shirt is you have to understand that experience, not a T shirt, the shirt, the shirt. I took a UFC Reebok shirt, one of the softest ones took it to the screen prayer and said, I want this. I want a shirt that's softer than this. I want the best shirt When he gave me the price is obviously the one we pick was the most expensive. But I said, I don't care the screen printers that I told to do it, I said, How long? How many washes can this take? He said That shirt will deteriorate before the print will, and it has e mean it hasn't deteriorated. I'm saying I've watched it for ah year and it's held up perfect. Everything is perfect. The packaging is perfect. And then you get other packaging that you can use for other shit. You can repurpose it. And then you got the stickers and you get the trilogy pack, and then you got the certificate of authenticity. That's really sweet in there. And you know, it's a it's a limited pack.
