to a town that averages 18 inches. That's amazing. That's really amazing, right? So that's a huge difference coming through like that zone right there. If you haven't noticed on this podcast, we're just kind of enjoying all the intricacies of snow snow forecasting, enjoying how much snow we're getting, One of the things that we just love Brian and I just love We just love Snow E. Think about it. Anything talking about it, something about it just brings a lot of warmth to our hearts and enjoy. Yep. I've chased snow all over this country on obsessed over it for the last 35 years since I knew what it was or what forecasting was when I was 56 years old. I grew up by the beach, so I didn't know anything about it at all. But then my parents took me to Mammoth in the summer, one year after a really big snow year in the early two thousands, and I got to see snow in the summer and I actually brought it back from, like, the top of the gondola and mammoth to the base. I was like, Look, Mom, look at this big chunk of snow, and I think that started it for me, to be honest. But I do know long. Long ago in the nineties, I was taken to North Lake Tahoe and I played in the snow. That was the first time I've been in the snow. I don't have much memory of it, but there's photos, so I know what happened. I grew up near the beach, but the beach that it did snow, snow, but not a lot. And so you were asking me earlier, like how much snow would usually get in a storm or in a season in New Jersey? Well, I think Atlantic City, which was just north of where I grew up 18 inches, just like Reno, was the average about the same amount we get here in Reno. That's not a lot at all. It's not a lot, but I couldn't just drive 15, 20 minutes into 500 inches like I can now and be surrounded by 15 ski resorts. I was in a very flat state, and if we got six inches every other year, that's 16 inch storm. Every other year was a big deal, and so here I am growing up with this kid who is absolutely obsessed with Snow and my Italian grandmother. She was absolutely obsessed, too. I think it's a genetic That's where I got it from because we would get a couple inches of snow. She just stand in the door and just stare at it as it snowed all day. She loves Snow Way were just transplanted into the wrong place. You know, my great great grand parents came over from Italy in the early 19 hundreds to the beach town, and they should have probably going to a mountain town because we're all obsessed with snow. But anyway, I had to move out to the snowiest or one of the snowiest places, the Sierra in the world, in the world of the country because it was tortured, growing up, getting six and storms. And that was a big deal. I don't know if I e. O s anyway, long range long range. So going into the long range people have been
