the way it's talking football with. Well, a very good day to everybody up in the mountains. It's lovely and sunny. In fact, it's a bit mild, I would say this morning we've had wind that nearly blew the town away. It's absolutely fine after that particular dose off different weather should we say, Let's go and find out where their eggs feeling a bit better I know that he had a little bit of the sniffles and a bit of the cold And this that and the other. So, uh, down on the coast is I don't feeling any better. So good morning to you. Are you feeling any better? Yeah. What happened? Sort about. Surely you get there, don't you? Just a time. He feels a little Never, never shake it off. It's kind of a cold, Which you the end of the day. You just gotta keep going. Don't let it take over here. You don't. Well, I I keep a diary off all sorts of things and one of the things that I have obviously in my diary, and suddenly the phone went dead. Have got Eric back. Erica was going to tell you that I keep keep a diary, you see? And so this time last year had a heavy cold. Now you know what it's like this year. If you say that you've got a cold you haven't got a cold you've got covered. And so therefore, you know, by the time we talked through what you were feeling like and what I was feeling like we've got the same cold by the sound of things on at this time of the year with the wind blowing as it did yesterday, I'm not surprised that people get the germs. Because if you've got any jabs, it all, then you know, off it goes blowing in from the mountains down to Alberta or the other way around, doesn't it? Yeah. See these? Uh, look, I'm like you. I'm not a great believer. He knows having cold. I'm working about once a year to get cold, and this is me. My time. So that's it. That's the way I look at the A Lot of people suffer all the time, what we call, but just I think it's what do we body metabolism personally, some people can try to stay where you are. The body metabolism doors, whereas other people's metabolism is probably not a strong Yeah, And I think also to stay indoors and heat your house. It's the germs is appears Larry in there, you know, nice and warm and everything. Eso anyway. Okay, well, look, we'll get to the football. And I wanted to ask you first because I couldn't remember this transfer window. Seemed to sort of come from nowhere in the respect off the importance that people put on the transfer window these days. I mean, I never remember when I was watching football back in the seventies and eighties. The talk of, you know, this transfer window opportunity and all this all the time. Uh, maybe I wasn't as interested. It did it. Did it happen at that time or was it always open? I mean, in the past, obviously, anybody could be transferred at any one time. It's just a lot of the clubs at the top decided. Oh, well, no longer on them. And you know, there's this season goes on. We're getting more in trouble when heated by our way out of it, and that so they tried to put a block on, and that's what's happened That's why we bring it down to a transfer window now. Yeah, I was always a great believer. What more commotion used to say? Everybody starts the season on the beginning of the well say August, he said. And you've got a squad and everybody has to stick with that squad through thick and thin on that. Besides, whether you're a good manager, a good coach or whatever and I thought that was a good idea and it means that I agree people can get badly injured. I used goalkeeper, which is a key man, maybe with one exception of a goalkeepers. But other than that, I think it's a good at you. It's like now with you, listen to Pep Guardiola, he says. Well, problems, you know it is only solutions, he said. If we have no something off, we put somebody else in like they are doing that. Liverpool on this is work anyway around the squad. Andi, I thought that was a good idea, but going back many years there don't about seventies Well, Malcolm, come up with that idea, we'll do it. But that's why in those days there was no transfer windows, just another way of making money, hyping up the place. The players. If you're going like this January transfer window, you know you're a bit desperate. Sent enough, let's say with the pool at the moment of probably just thought through, sent that out and paid more than they would do normally. It's just another hype for the people, particularly television. E don't I got so bored watching selling when you're trying to hide things up with something negotiations. And I thought to myself, Why am I having watching this? And I turned it off because it's just like a joke on then to May. It's a big mistake from the sun to Windows. Well, to be honest with you see, I think everything is over exaggerated now because, I mean, if everybody stuck in watching the telly on, then basically, suddenly you've got this new king TV. I mean, it was bad enough. Always has bean too much of it into influence since the eighties. Andi, obviously, as it was growing in strength towards the eighties, but now I mean, you know, you've got people who know a bit about things. Piers Morgan would be a good example. I mean, he probably knows a zoo. Muchas most average people about football. And suddenly he's pontificating on football or his pontificating on the politics. Or, you know, you were all set and done. It gives people an inflated ego on by people swallow it took.
