In horror. It's called a head full of ghosts by Paul Trombley. I don't know if he pronounces his name like that, but that's how it's going to be when you live in French land. Um it's 2015 Pic uh 286 pages. So, and it's two sisters, one of whom is going through a real mental illness problem. It's not stated clearly what the problem is. Um, but she's hearing voices and um, so they keep it pretty straight down the line, it's not super clear whether she is. Um the stuff that comes up think Exorcist. Um, and so it's not super clear whether possession, like they try to do a real on exorcism of her versus mental illness. She is going to see actual medical practitioners to try and deal with her issues. Um and what happens is because the family needs money is that they end up uh allowing a reality television show people to film what's happening um as well as recreate some of the past weird stuff that happens to her sisters are our main person. Um, is the younger sister who has survived this traumatic event and is now an adult um, throughout the, the other half of the story, um it really feels like an homage to past horror that goes on. So for example, the younger sister, her nickname is mary and uh with the two sisters, a lot of stuff comes up that seems similar to, we have lived in the, we have always lived in the Castle um The Exorcist, which I've already mentioned comes up and one of the characters is actually called Stephen Graham jones, who I've mentioned as a horror writer, so it's like it's very on the nose were playing with horror tropes as well as we're not sure what's going on whether or not this is a psychological problem or a supernatural issue and we're just gonna mess with your brain a whole bunch. So that was good. Um But didn't help me necessarily be able to say, okay all the things that include this is going to be psychological horror that didn't help, but it was good. So I've read some paul tremblay before and I found it straight up horror. I think the one I read was called the cabin at the end of the woods, End of the World or something like that. Um So but this one sounds like it is a bit more um a bit less straight up horror. Yeah, I mean the tension is there and scary stuff happens but the way it's switching back and forth between like the adult mary and the youngsters, it allows you to like, you know, somebody survives, you break off a little bit of attention there. Um But yeah, I'll go into mine I read, so I'm going to share the cover of this with all of you.
