What does aged care look like, how is it changing and what should we be hoping for? Tash Miles poses these questions, and more, to three guests with unique and expert insights into aged care: Dr Linda Mellors, CEO and Managing Director, Regis Aged Care, Dr Joseph Ibrahim, Geriatrician, Monash University and Allyson Warrington, CEO Community Based Support and community member of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. The discussion focuses on the importance of those working in the aged care sector and the findings of the recent Royal Commission into Aged Care. Our guests also unpack both the government and community response, and highlight the need for aged care to be a valued part of our communities. Join us for a very relevant and important discussion that reminds us of the need to have compassion for the needs of the older people among us.
