anyway. But as I mentioned in the concussion research, they are using decent doses doses of creating in Children obviously within the realm of you know, a medical intervention, traumatic brain injury. But yeah, anyway, where was I short term memory and intelligence or reasoning of healthy individuals improved with creatine supplementation. Now you know they looked at lots of different cognitive domains and um some of them they didn't know it was difficult to see if there was anything. But we've just got this interesting thing of like ok, interesting short term memory of improvements, Intelligence like reasoning, being better with creatine supplementation. It's a you know for someone like myself or you know MNU students who listen to the podcast, you guys uh students people wanting to study people have difficult stressful jobs where they use their brain a lot. Consider creating as a supplement. Even if you haven't considered it before for performance benefits or jim benefits or whatever. There you go. So I just wanted to mention that particular study and as I said, I will link it for you. So yeah, going back to these vegetarians and whoever, it's it's the same thing, but it's just interesting to note that these vegetarians were getting these improved effects, so better memory. I don't know if you can hear that. Sorry, I'm playing with this pencil, I'll put it down vegetarians resulting in significantly improved scores on their memory tests above and beyond the meat eaters who are also supplemented creating and both groups doing better um then placebo or control and creating improved markers of reaction time. So I think actually when I say a reaction time that I think it's not reaction time, like physical, you know, someone throws a tennis ball and try and catch it. I think it's uh it's something like reaction choices. So I don't know because again, this isn't my ex I'm not super knowledgeable on these cognitive tests, but for instance, they show you a card that says the word green but is red and you have to quickly either say the color of the card or the word. And you know, it takes a degree of cognitive functioning to get the right answer. And if you get it right then if you do it quicker or slower and stuff like that. So very interesting just giving you some insight into this stuff. And the main one that I kind of wanted to talk about is sleep deprivation and I don't actually I'm sure I've read a study in military recruits where they did this, but I cannot remember the outcomes particularly other than just creating was good. I'm sure it was something like they were doing marching and then they cap them at four hours sleep and then they did some stuff and they did like backwards counting tests, type things. Again, I'm not an expert and it improved, but there's been other other studies that have shown very similar things. So again, supplementation with typical levels, loading doses uh four times five g a day type stuff. And I will do a whole podcast on doses because realistically across all these different domains of sports performance and muscle gain, uh memory like that, all the doses are roughly similar so I can cover that all in one podcast, which what I will probably do with these korean team podcast is released them in close succession, which is why I want to keep them quite succinct, which I'm not doing very well. But with this sleep deprivation scenario, it's again, um even improvements in mood state as a result of made to do some exercise made to how have your sleep amount reduced. Said that very badly and then go through a battery of tests that test kind of function, psycho, motor function. And so again, this choice, reaction time improves mood state improved. Um, uh, along with a variety of things that were tested, uh, balance I think is one of the ones as well in the study I'm thinking of. So it's not across the board. Every single test they do doesn't show. But definitely there's consistent findings with improve brain function and therefore, if you are in this situation of if you don't take creating all the time, fine if you forget. But let's tell you, you're taking your finals man, take creating. It could really benefit you if you're going through a particularly stressful period. If you are, your kids are stopping, you're sleeping your baby's teething, whatever you're working hard at work, you're starting your business, all the types of people that follow me and listen to this podcast. Creative might be beneficial for you for all sorts of things. Even maybe save
