In this episode we have the privilege of speaking with Matt Hudson, a professional Reining trainer in Ontario. Matt tells us his story of how he went from a young man who started in rural New Brunswick barrel racing and cattle penning with his family to training in Italy, riding for Canada, and becoming a professional trainer and rider. His story is inspiring and his advice is authentic. We dig a little deeper and discuss what it takes to chase our dreams of riding successfully at either a non-pro or professional level in the sport of reining. We enjoy sharing our stories of our most memorable horse show experiences, with a FANTASTIC fan share! We finish off the episode with the draw for our FOURTH prize for the CHP Contest. This individual is the lucky winner of a finished Reiner bit designed by Jim Anderson of Higher Horsemanship! LINKS MENTIONED:https://www.facebook.com/Hudson-Performance-Horses-1529961583913778/https://higherhorsemanship.comhttps://www.pothiermotors.comhttps://cqha.cahttps://www.horseradionetwork.comFOLLOW INFORMED EQUESTRIAN ONLINE @:www.informedequestrian.comhttps://www.instagram.com/informedequestrian/https://www.facebook.com/informedequestrianhttps://www.tiktok.com/@informedequestrianSupport the show (https://www.patreon.com/user?u=87421)
