sophomore year I had a very rude awakening when I got my first day ever in physics, electricity and magnetism. Um The way the ta had created one of my homework made me think that uh current was being created at one of the nodes of my circuit. So it's like I really miss some fundamentals there and my parents, my parents were not happy with me and I realized that okay I have to make a choice. I either have to figure out if I have what it takes to stick and engineering or I have to figure out what to change too. And I didn't want to be a quitter but I didn't know if I had what it took to stay in engineering and you know I've gotten awards on my high school physics project but that was just one semester, you know that was part of a year in high school and when the rubber hit the road it was really all the creative projects and things I've done and created as a kid in elementary school including selling doll clothes and drawing architectural houses and doing floor plans and designing furniture with my dad and all these other things that I end up created. Problem solved on my own. I figured you know and the art stuff too. But I knew I was creative. I just figured I had to learn a new medium and I guess today with the interpretation of okay what I was really learning back then is really problem solving skills and how to learn from failing learn by doing and figure things out and what I later learned A G. E. S. I have phenomenal project management skills because of all those hobbies as a kid. I was figuring out industrial engineering and sewing machine layout and how do I have my tools handy and you know, you know this project didn't go the best, what what fabric would I choose next time? How would I lay out my works surface next time? So all those things kind of gave me grit and resilience um that helped me.
