Our chat about Magic Kingdom all the way to Easter Eggs is the topic today. Let me say that if you have not been to check out all the magical chocolate Disney eggs at the resorts you certainly are missing out on a big treat. The hand crafted chocolate delights are a yearly staple to hunt your favorite ones out at the resorts. However, all of the resorts don't have them so make sure you listen to the podcast to find out which ones do and find out for yourself. The one pictured here that Brian & Amanda sent is a lovely Humpty Dumpty Alice in Wonderland feel and it's beautiful. You can purchase a chocolate egg at various locations inside the resorts that house them and they range in price depending on your sweet tooth. From eggs to cakes and bunnies the choices are many and I wish I just had the extra Disney cash to buy one of each to test them all out for you. If you do purchase one and partake of its sweetness please take a picture of it and send it to us or tag Brian & Amanda on social media.
There is still not much word on a concrete date for the people mover attraction to open back up and with a tentative date floating around its not certain still what's happening yet. Tron attraction seems to be moving along well as far as the structure goes, so it will be very interesting to see when that is complete and all lit up. To get the best views of Tron go take a slow ride on the speedway cars and soak it all in. If you want a different side view go ride the Goofy's Barnstormer coaster for a faster peek.
Lines have been rather long at Magic Kingdom with spring break and the weather warming up plus vaccinations happening and people are beginning to venture out a little more. In a test of the time it took to go through the actual line at Splash Mountain on a recent adventure the cast member holding the sign said 70 minutes but our timer showed 48 minutes when we got on the ride. Maybe its because of the social distancing markers and the difficulty it has been to get an accurate time count for these lines but its still doable and you should try to do whatever ride you want to try and time it for yourself and see how far off it is.
The figment ride at Epcot has been the debate of which set of fans like the old one featuring dream finder or the current one. I never knew the moon man face (which creeps Brian out) located at the end of the ride was a projection. During the live stream a week ago the chat wanted him to ride the figment ride because the moon man puns and digs at Brian to do it. He rode the ride and low and behold a glitch happened and the entire moon man projection was completely gone. It was a very hilarious moment to share as it was unexpected so make sure when you ride the figment ride at Epcot to look for the moon man and if he's working or not.
If you are wondering about the cleanliness of the parks for Disney, Universal, SeaWorld and others, they are doing a great job cleaning and making sure everyone is good. I felt safe at the parks and very comfortable with the procedures everyone has in place. If you can get out and take a short break away or plan a vacation to one of these wonderful entertainment places please go. As always thank you so much for subscribing, following and listening to us. If no one told you today that you are appreciated and loved you are with all of us on D.A.S. pass podcast.
