Happy Morning Friends,

"Well I've been afraid of changing, 'cause I'd built my life around you. But time makes you BOLDER, children get older, I'm getting older... too."

You may recognize those lyrics from the song Landslide by Stevie Nicks & Fleetwood Mack or The Chicks (Formerly Dixie Chicks), and if you are among the latest generation, Miley Cyrus did a pretty decent cover of it too. ;)

Anyways, It got me thinking. We have to take a look at the health issues, concerns and disparities for adults on the autism spectrum. There is not a tremendous amount of research out there, but we know there are some regular and common medical comorbidities that accompany adults with autism as they age.

Join the call! Today we will be learning from Lauren Barnes, Breakthrough's Health and Individual Rights Coordinator.

Aging gracefully (hopefully),

-Kendrise Colebrooke
