This is the same with the terms idiot, imbecile, and moron
An idiot was a person with the mental capacity less than a 3 years- old – IQ less than 30
Imbecile was a person with the mental capacity of a 3 -7 years old – IQ 30-50
Moron was a person with the mental capacity of a 7-10 year old – IQ 50-70
