This butterfly is excited to be speaking with Ceara Carney.
Ceara is a 27 year old activist and actor from Dublin, Ireland. She grew up in the countryside and has been passionate about the environment and animal rights from a young age. Her eyes were opened to the deforestation and pollution happening on a mass scale after being vegetarian and vegan for many years and being conscious of what she consumes. She is involved with activist group Extinction Rebellion in Ireland and is also the host of an eco-friendly living podcast, the Book of Leaves.
In this episode you will learn about fairies, leprechauns as well as other mythological creatures and how they help preserve the environment in Ireland, the work Ceara is doing with Extinction Rebellion, and more.
