Looking at news you might have missed from Spain and UK
I did see that we were supposed to be getting a lot of money from the european union. So we'll keep you informed of what's likely to happen as and when we get that cash. Okay. So as I did say, we will play a little bit of music to lighten the load a little bit and we'll kick off with this one coming for you now, which was the stylistics back in a minute with our second news item of the day. Yeah, this is europe calling. Mhm. What's your own soul like? Shoes, papa sure hold a little bit fucking low baby singing at the age of the he can only talk but show knows how to sing the blues. Little Tony invited to always in the keys so bold. Two. He better further away. Yeah, I want to see away by till we do. He was born in a thin and west Virginia. His mom and I'll when on the road hours. Mhm. That's all has stand one. He's a little tall. Okay, so we move on and again, it's all items in the papers that either you might not have read, might not have seen, might have considered not important. Spain is the number one country for Erasmus exchange students. And Valencia University is europe's most desired university. Now, this program has been going for quite a while now and for those that maybe don't get involved with the teaching programs. Um It's a great exchange for people to go from one country and explore what's happening in another. And it's something that I was involved with that cornwall College and it was great to see the students having the chance to go to France and Spain. And Valencia has become a favorite amongst european students participating in this exchange. This is according to european commission data at the university hosted 2401 foreign students in 2019 2020 ranking first in europe. Not only that, but the polytechnic of Valencia. So that's sort of the second university was the fourth most visited university in the whole of europe, Valencia has clearly become a popular destination for international students. So why do the students choose Valencia? Well, clearly, it's not just to learn the Valencia University does not even rank amongst the top 400 universities in the world. And the polytechnic of Valencia a burly ranks among the top 300. It's safe to say that the majority of these students come to you, valencia for the unique rare way of life. The weather pleasant all year and the night life outside of restrictions, of course is also appealing. Pleasant. And when you factor in the low prices for not only the courses, but also for Valencia's accommodation, transportation, and food, it's easy to see why Valencia is so popular. Well to go on with this article, I'm reading that since its inception in 1987 The Erasmus exchange programme has become something of a miracle, moving around five million students each year across 4000 universities and 31 countries. The program was designed to foster cultural, social and academic exchanges among european students as well as to serve as a unifying force in the old continent. And this concept was a complete success. The program's total budget has grown from a modest 26 billion in 2021 which is more, well, it's saying that's right and wrong. It's from a modest beginning 2 26 billion in 2021 which is more than the total educational budget of many of its members. Spain has become one of the most active countries in the program, with most students from all over europe and aromas. Erasmus enabled 58,830 foreign students to spend a full term in Spain in 2019. However, it's not a one way street Spaniards, enjoy going to study abroad with 44,000 spanish students traveling abroad in the same year. It's a great program. As I say, I was able to take students from Cornwall College, the duchy college faculty and we used to go across to listen even in Brittany in France and we would discover things at a very, very high political level. We were given lots of access to monies that were that were involved. So I have to say that I just hope that it still is available to all the students in the UK if it isn't, let's hope something comes along that makes it equally appealing. And that's the Erasmus programme we're talking about. Mhm. Yeah, mm. Yeah. Yeah. You took Yeah, you can beyond you made me love. You feel something. It's Yeah. Is that you want and I came to you. Mhm. Change. Mhm. I'm gonna get you and you week. Yeah. No. Yeah. To you. We're talking. Yeah. Mhm. Yeah, we talk. Yeah. Talk about mm. Mhm. Give me no. Yeah. This one stuff your hands away up here. Mhm. Yeah. Future is on. Mm. Mm. Yeah. Yeah. Candy. Mhm. Yeah, baby. Hey, thank you. Six down. Had a picture. Mhm. No stay. Mhm. Mhm. Yeah, mm. In the home explosion. Yeah. No. Mhm. Coming to you from the costa blanca in Salou spain, you're calling finding the news you might have missed. Okay. Like a lot of people, I get certain things that come onto my telephone messages that are sent to uh lots of people, not just me and I will read one to you which came the other day. It says out of all the vaccines I've had in my life. Tetanus, smallpox, measles, polio, meningitis, TB et cetera. I have never seen so much wishy washiness over a vaccine that says I have to wear a mask and socially distance. Even when fully vaccinated that I could still contract or spread the virus. Even when fully vaccinated, never been bribed by establishments to take the vaccine in order to win a car and or cash prizes. I was never judged if I didn't take it. I was never discriminated for travel or other regular services. The vaccines I listed above. Never told me that was a bad person for not taking it or taking it for that matter. I have never seen a vaccine that threatened the relationship.
