As you are gathered at home on your own or with loved ones, we encourage you to have a time of worship by going here before listening to the message:
We're finishing the Galatians Series with this message! In it, we look at the final words of the letter, written in Paul's own hand. We are also including the discussion questions here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL09Dgl7_jvqCJRQD6sveLATgvOWNyehlk
1.) For me (Pastor Tim), finding that being “justified” meant being “righteoused” by God was fundamentally important during this series (Gal. 2:16). How has thinking of “righteous” as a verb when it comes to your standing with God changed your walk with Him?
2.) In the same way, the fruit of the Spirit is something that is a natural by-product of walking after and in the Spirit. You and I cannot “try harder” to produce this fruit. It comes naturally after walking in the Spirit. How does this change/affect your spiritual life?
3.) What are some of the ways people/the world/culture try to get you to follow another gospel? (For example, how do they try to get you to trust anything other than God for justification?)
4.) In Galatians 5, we are called to live in freedom to serve one another through love. In what ways have you served others through love? (Shared an encouraging word, shoveled the driveway/sidewalk, hugged a loved one in quarantine with you, etc.)
5.) Finally, what has God done in your life as we have gone through this series?
