back and one hack and exercise or two. So one is temptation bundling. Why does every light and it's like, How can I make exercise like Brussels sprouts? So everybody loves Brussel sprouts, right? But all they are are little cabbages. Nobody liked them 15 years ago. It's just that we added butter and bacon, and now we're obsessed. So how you do that with exercise research out of Warton causes temptation. Bundling, they said. Take the exercise, which is your little your Brussels sprout parrot with a guilty pleasure. Now I have to now say cookies don't count because everybody always ask. No, you cannot do cookies on the treadmill that does not meet a mom hacks criteria now that I'm against cookies or anything but, um, guilty pleasure. Maybe that's watching game of Thrones or the podcast serial or a magazine. For me, it's People magazine. What they found in Worton is that when they took people and told them, Here's your addictive audiobook, but you can on Li listen to it when you're working out. Those people exercise 150% more, and they didn't even, like, ask or try to or plan to work out more. The rule is you can Onley watch it or read it or anything when you're exercising, that's the only rule you cannot break. What happens? You start to see a preview for your show, or my people magazine arrives in the mail and my body and my brain is like like I want to go run like I need to see what Kate Meghan are doing in the castle like eso. You look forward to it. That's temptation bundling rule number one. But also you can use a playlist like I have a bunch of mom hacks. Playlist, weaken. Give your listeners the link, um, and only do it when you're exercising. So that's one and a number. Another one is just keep it small. I think too many moms. I know many women in general like, Oh, I didn't exercise that. I didn't have a half hour. We'll hogwash. There's nobody that says you can only get credit if you do for half hour. So I say If you want to start an exercise habit, the best time is in the morning. Um, if you don't wanna get up a half hour early, get up seven minutes early. If you don't want to give me seven minutes, give me five. You don't even five. Give me three b. J. Fogg, a Stanford behavioral psychologist, to start his exercise routine. He said he would brush his teeth, and then he did one push up one. The point being is that that's how you create a habit once you have the habit in place and it's a brain process just like anything else, once you have the habit in place in 23 you know, over the course of weeks you can always increase it a little bit. But you just need to get the habit first and start to feel good and realizes, Hey, that one minute of a walk, I felt good. Tomorrow I'm gonna do two minutes. That's great. Start really small, and I love it when any listeners kind of reach out to me and tell me what how small did they need to go? And I love hearing that
