Rumors are circulating around Mass Effect 3's executive saying that the game might be bringing the multiplayer back. But are the rumors true? Is Bethesda really thinking of doing this, or are they just gauging gamer interest? And is the multiplayer even worth bringing back? Some players remember it as "boring and pointless" while others argue that it improved the game.
there's I also wanted to ask you guys about just this rumor about mass Effect three's multiplayer coming back. It's not really a rumor actually comes from various sources. I guess. In an interview interview with CNN, I'm reading I. G. N. Right now the uh Mac walter. So he said quote, I would never say no to that. Talking about the multiplayer motive Mass Effect three. We want to see what kind of reaction the legendary edition gets and what the demand for the multiplayer is and then we'll ask ourselves if we have the resources and time to bring it up to the quality level. We, as fans want. End quote chris, what do you think of this? I thought this was weird and interesting marketing ploy perhaps to keep the game bubbling. It's doing very well and people are enjoying the mass spec the legendary edition. But I don't know. I remember Mass Victory. I had a review the game. I remember mass factories online. It's not I don't am I misremembering this as I remember it being very boring and not good. I don't know, I remember I had fun with it. I it would it would be nice to see just as um just from a purist perspective of just like having these games as complete as they possibly can be. It would just be nice to have that. Uh and I thought it was like a fairly well composed multiplayer wasn't super complicated, it wasn't super like, you know, deep like mass effect typically is, but I think it did shine a light on the combat which in Mass Effect three is, you know, the best version of the combat in that trilogy up to that point, I think I think and drama actually for as much as that came just wrong, obviously was like a little bit better in in regards to combat, but I I would like to see this. I think this could be fun, but what this sounds like to me is that they tried to do this and it didn't really work all that well. So they were like, uh let's let's maybe we'll get to this in the future. But like I suspect that they've worked on trying to get the mass effect three multiplayer in the legendary edition and they probably cut it and they probably couldn't get it working or probably couldn't get it up to snuff or up to polish as the rest of the game was. So they just decided to leave it on the cutting room floor and they're kind of probing interest to see whether or not they should actually finish it up. That's what it kind of sounds like to me because I don't know why you would float an idea for something that you just haven't worked on it all. Like surely they have the code
