Do you miss it there? Are you the talk of the town in Connecticut? Because I feel like when we've talked before, I've told you, I don't know much about it beyond what I've seen on sex in the city. So I have like preconceived notions. Do people, are you like so famous in Connecticut? Well, Connecticut's kind of a weird one because you have southeast Connecticut, which is where I'm from, which is like Fairfield County area, I'm from Stanford, shout out to the 203 and then you have like northern Connecticut which is vast and big and I don't know what goes on there. I think it's like farms or something. So I'm really in like the metropolitan, suburban area of Connecticut in that area. I would say I have not reaped any benefits of fame yet. I definitely, my people to tell my parents that they've seen my comedy, which always makes me a little nervous, but um you know, maybe they're just too star struck um to come up to me. What do your parents think of it? They're so supportive, I'm so lucky because they have been supportive from day one, even though, you know, sometimes my comedy is a bit edgier or raunchy and I have had their full support and they are just they come to my show well when there was live comedy, they came to my shows all the time and and I feel very blessed to have their unending and unconditional support back in the day. Doesn't that feel like such a memory? Yes, it feels so far away, you know, and I I miss performing so much. I think that's been one of the really hard things about this about all of it is just that live performing is is not a thing anymore, is it Dead? Do you think it's just gone forever? I hope it's not. I think a lot of venues will struggle to stay open once this all ends. But it's yeah, it's one of those things where like as I said, I have control issues and that manifests a lot in being a planner and you just can't make plans. So it's about pivoting and trying to figure out like what what we can do right now. I personally have not done too much in the instagram live performance space, but it does feel like we're going to have to get creative because otherwise we just won't be performing well in in I mean speaking of instagram, you came out with Birdhouse not that long ago, which I thought was a great use of the instagram space. Where did you come up with that whole concept and friend who doesn't know it's an amazing video with some really artistic shots of mary Beth. I came up with bird houses and Bird House Two is in post production right now. I just got a rough cut of it because I have some more jokes I want to put out. But essentially I guess like midway through quarantine at this point. So a couple months in I had some jokes I'd written and I didn't really have a way to put them on the internet. So I decided to do a stand up show in my living room with my family as the audience. And then we had some neighbors come over and sit on the porch with the windows open so they can kind of hear it. And I did like a five minute set, but I've been so long since I performed and it just, it didn't feel like the right uh medium or like format to put the jokes out in. So I was a little discouraged because I have been kind of counting on that being an outlet. And then I had to sit down and think like what's a cool way of presenting the jokes that's nontraditional and I can still, and I don't have to be performing them in front of an audience because I'm rusty. Ultimately. I like that was the muscle, I was exercising all the time and then now it's just been dormant. So I don't really remember what the exact moment was when I was like, okay, I'm going to do some like found footage, e type shots around my parents house and just see if this makes sense. But I was really nervous to put that out because I definitely have like a weird, more experimental side, but this just felt like the first time I was really putting it out there too, the Internet. So I was very nervous and I was really happy with the response and I'm excited for the next one.
