that makes it very unique and I think that what really works for this film as well is the window of innocence shrinking that whole commentary on we need to work harder really, you're working harder to take home less because you've got to work harder to get something out of these kids which is even something that they had made a comment on in Halloweentown when and when you see the bus going back to Halloweentown when Marnie sneaks onto the bus with her brother and you have the monsters sitting there saying you know, it's not like it used to be the kids aren't scared, I mean there's still kind of in that struggle here and I think it really works not only for the film, but also very much as a social commentary. See that's interesting that you got out of it, you're working harder to take home less because to me, I really honed into the kids being desensitized, which we said, we can't believe This feels like 2000 This is a 2001 film because it doesn't feel that old, especially because that is such a recent issue, it's something that we're still dealing with it. You know, The generation of kids that have been raised by cell phones and video games and even even back in 2001, they're hitting on it. I mean you think about movies like for example, I just had background television on and I was watching poltergeist. I mean this movie, Poltergeist is nearly 40 years old and it's better than anything that's being put in theaters now. But if a kid watched poltergeist because it's not a torture film because some of the I mean the special effects are great, a lot of a lot of practical effects, but you can tell what's a puppet and what's not just by virtue of its an older film, It's it's scarier than anything you're going to see. And I think that an eight year old kid is not going to find that movie scary.
