right. It's finding that balance and what other than sons. But they have some great, I was gonna say what other than sunscreen and water, what's the main thing you tell all your clients when they leave your spot about what to do at home to make you happy when they come to see you the next time, yep. So there are some good basic um sometimes it sounds a little overwhelming and I hate to overwhelm like the last thing that I want to do is somebody leaving my, you know, my salon going, oh my God, that's so much so, you know, there are some basics, so cleansing twice a day, hands down. You know, our environment is really, I feel like no matter where you live gross, you know between the smog and dirt and you know, then just the oil that your skin produces and so cleansing twice a day. Do you believe in a double cleanse? I recommend cleansing uh, yep. So I recommend definitely double cleanse if you are bumping up the sunblock again. So if you're reapplying throughout the day all day, especially if you're wearing makeup, which I feel like people are really going to start to dive into makeup again, you know? Now that masks are, you know? Yeah, I'm gonna have to start to have fun makeup and so definitely double cleansing vitamin C. During the day, retinol at night. These are kind of like my basics and then exfoliating not over exfoliating but exfoliating depending on which one you have. If it's a super light one you can exfoliate every day if it's a little more gritty or if it's an acid that's a little more intense. I would say twice a week about it because they are healthy. Is there a format of exfoliator that you prefer? Or do you think it's really targeted to everybody's skin care specifically? Totally. Yeah, I really think some people can't handle a really intense kind of crystallized exfoliant. I personally love those. That's what I gravitate towards and my skin loves that. Um Some people need you know kind of gentler you know acids or or just a gentler more kind of every day. You can even you can find cleansers with exfoliating beads in them. Yeah I love that Cleanser by reflect. Have you seen this cleanser by this brand? Reflect with a K. Has really yeah a really nice um like the exfoliating beads is coded so it's super gentle. It's really nice. And how do you tell do you just look and see if your skin's read? Is that the main way? You can tell if you're using the wrong exfoliation technique? Yeah. Yeah. You know you you want to feel it you know obviously and I always say let the product do the work so you never want to take an exfoliant no matter what exfoliant it is, if it's like a gritty or that type of, you know beads or crystals, you don't want to, you know, go really harsh. You want to let the product do the work. Um not your hands so you know, gently but yeah, if you feel like you're getting really read or your skin feels irritated after, you know and I'm not saying after one try, you know sometimes you want to give things a few tries to release see but you know every time you're using that exfoliator and you're like red and just feel irritated and then you put your other products on and they burn it's probably not the, you know the best exfoliator for you. Got it. And what about, you know since it is summer and we are going to be wearing less clothes. I'm always trying to get my chest to look as young as my face. Should you be exfoliating your chest? Like should be using a different exfoliator on your chest and on your face. Yeah. Yeah so I always like to treat that's another thing that I'd like to do. So so my facials you know you want to include the face, the chest and even the hands. So hands. If you now you guys are gonna start to notice when you look at people's hands you will see that they are telling of age. Yeah. So um you know I put some luck on my hands especially when I'm getting in my car and I go to dr obviously being outside so face, neck, chest and hands. You can do vitamin C. You can put on your hands. Um Image has an amazing vitamins here um that goes right in. So I missed with their vital sea mist just like you know, I would my face, then I apply the vital C serum right on my hands and then sunblock on. Um And then I exfoliate them once in a while through so face, neck, chest cans are vital. Do you do any um like injectables at your spot? Like do you think that people should be doing a complete like, you know, it's like you have to take care of your skin because your skin is the canvas for whatever else you're doing. But like should people be thinking about combination therapy, like what is the best way to like tackle looking younger? Yeah, so I am not mad at injectables at all. I've done filler if I'm being honest. I mean I've done filler myself, I've done Botox here and there. Um And you know, it's really about as much as I, you know, I'm about fillers and Botox. You have to take care of your skin. You know, you want to keep your um you know, your acid mantle in check and and really just take care of your skin because if your skin is off, no matter how many fillers or Botox you do, it's not gonna look great, it has to be healthy, you know, so you again, you can see people that you can tell. They do a lot of fillers and Botox but their skin, the texture is off their super dry or there, you know, it's so it's really important. It's it's kind of a good all around. You know, you can incorporate the fillers and the Botox and just keep your skin really healthy to getting the collar.
