Hey, y'all - Joel here. I give a lot of caveats. I tend to be very confident, but I always feel the need to buffer my arrogance through the use of phrases like, "don't quote me on this," "I very well could be wrong," or the iconic "I'm talking out of my butt." Often I don't actually feel that I may be wrong. However, I cerebrally understand that my emotional belief in my own infallibility does not constitute its existence.I know this because I'm continually presented with examples of times I've been wrong in the past. Whether it be by other people, personal revelation, or by hearing my bad takes played back in 3D audio, it has become clear to me that even in my best moments I'm a flawed man. People like to think that just because they're introspective or analytical that they are free from self-deception. But "Truth" is an elusive beast that exists outside of human perception. So much of what we consider to be "fact" or "reality" ceases to exist the moment we perceive it. Because we never truly internalize anything - we merely create within ourselves an idea that we believe reflects the world around us. When ultimately, we are floating blind through the void. This is all to say I'm full of crap in most of this entry. I realize it near the end and the 3rd Person will be able to hear a fun little moment of self-discovery.BEST CONSUMED THROUGH HEADPHONESFollow @3rdPersonPodwww.Patreon.com/3rdPersonPodwww.3rdPersonPod.com
