We are only limited by the things we allow to limit us. The keys to success and productivity are already in your pocket. You just need someone to show you the lock and encourage you to open the door. Who would have thought that a woman who pioneered a path for women in the military - excelling at what she did as an Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt II (Warhog) Pilot could ever struggle with confidence or imposter syndrome. LTC Tammy Barlette (USAF, Retired) talks about how, for her, quitting has never been an option and the importance of not comparing her "backstage" to someone else's "frontstage" as she has moved forward in whatever comes her way. Confidence is a topic that is close to my heart. The importance of confidence in one's success is often undervalued and this was a lesson I learned after years of aviation experience. It doesn't have to take years to develop confidence, let me help your team understand the basics of confidence, why it is important and how they can capitalize on it. Leadership is a topic for anyone. Whether you are leading by example among your coworkers or you run a multi-million dollar company, lessons on leadership are applicable. Years of military experience have taught me many lessons on leadership. Caring for your people is the foundation of executing the mission at hand. I can show you how to be tough and caring in order to help you maximize the performance of your teams. Persistence and dedication in the face of difficulties and obstacles are required for progress. I like to say, "when quitting is not an option, you find another way." When you consider quitting an option your mind can't open to the possibilities of how you can get through the challenge. My stories of struggle and triumph taught me how to persevere against the odds. Sharing these lessons with you will help you and your teams to resist collapsing under pressure.
