These are the speeches Baba Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.

Baba Jarnail Singh Ji was 14th Head of Damdami Taksal, a Sikh organization that is over 300 years old. Baba Jarnail Singh Ji headed Damdami Taksal from 1978 to 6 June 1984 (the day of his martyrdom).

Baba Jarnail Singh revived the sovereign spirit of Sikhism and his speeches awakened the Sikh Youth against political slavery of modern imperial India. Baba Ji launched Dharm Youdh Morcha, a peaceful agitation for Sikh Rights. As the Sikh agitation grew stronger, the Indian State made false allegations against Baba Ji and finally launched an Army attack on the most holiest of Sikh places, the Sri Darbar Sahib, Sri Akal Takht Sahib (Sri Amritsar) and almost 38 other Sikh Gurudwaras (Holy Places). The genocide was authorised by a hindu led government that was seeking to exterminate Sikhs, many women and children were murdered. Baba Ji defended the prestige of Sri Akal Takht and Indian army faced stiff resistance from a few limited Sikhs. Baba Ji laid down his life on 6 June 1984 in front of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.

The physical structure of Sri Akal Takht was badly damaged due to tank and cannon attack by the Indian army but the symbolic structure of Sri Akal Takht, symbols of Sikh Sovereignty, witnessed a new height. The Indian army looted the Sikh Reference Library on 7 June after the attack.

Thousands of innocent Sikh Pilgrims were killed in the attack, which was codenamed as Operation BlueStar and thousands more were taken as hostage, tortured and sent to jail. Sikhs followed the path shown by Sikh Gurus and launched an armed struggle against Indian state. Baba Bhindranwale is a hero of Sikh Nation and is an icon of idea of Khalsitan (Sovereign Sikh State).

These speeches of Baba Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale are a valuable part of Sikh History. More information regarding Baba Jarnail Singh Ji can be obtained from http://www.DiscoverSikhism.com.
