We all know how vital sleep is to optimal performance - physically, mentally, and emotionally. But how many times do we dip into the sleep "bank" to steal time for other things we deem more important. Granted there are times, especially when our children are young, that this is hard to avoid, but we need to make time to get the amount of sleep required to enable us to step up in all the arenas of a father's life.
Joshua and Tom discuss the pitfalls that result in us not getting the sleep we need and how to set the stage to change this and ensure we do our best to wake up refreshed, renewed, and recharged to own the day and ultimately our lives.
They discuss the significance of morning and nightly rituals and routines, our attitude towards sleep and napping as men and, the methods and strategies to make sleep as beneficial as it can be. It is a big positive when we become intentional about our sleep habits and the things that contribute towards a good night's sleep.
