and for today's episode, I had a conversation with Mr Christopher Livingstone. He's an author who wrote a Christmas fiction book called Santa Inc and it's a wonderful coming of age type story that will really be a great part of your Christmas season this year. It's a well written book, very well done, so I encourage you guys to check it out. So without any further ado, here is my Christmas conversation with Mr Livingstone. Joining me now on Christmas clatter is Chris Livingstone. He's the author of a book that is out and available now called Santa Inc. Hey, Chris, Thanks for joining us here on Christmas clatter. How are you this evening? Hey, taught him really good. Thanks. And thanks for having me on the show. Oh, anytime this book, I've read some of the reviews on it and the summary of it, and I cannot wait to get my hands on it because it sounds like an absolute wonderful Christmas adventure. Just tell us a little bit about the book in your journey to craft this book and make it what it is. Sure, sure. So I mean, really, the book itself is a story about on Orphan, a younger eight year old orphan who lives in an orphanage in New York who lives pretty dreary, a dull life and kind of set upon by the sisters who run the orphanage on Bond finds his way when he's locked in a basement for a kind of misbehavior through a tunnel and finds that next door is Ah, Big Skyscraper, which is the global headquarters of Santa who's moved Thio New York to set up his kind of business empire. Onda Uh, and in the process of discovering Santa Inc and he kind of he kind of starts to live this kind of double life where he's going back and forth between the company centering building in his own orphanage. He starts to change everyone's lives here he comes into contact with for the generally for the better, although, you know, it kind of goes up and down this kind of twists and turns along the way. Um so it was really just like a take on, kind of like maybe some of those books, like Charles Dickens's and Like Christmas Carol and some of the flavor of like some rural doll, maybe just in the kind of way that those books have. These, like young protagonists who are always kind of trying to fight against the not fighting it just have, like these adults who are not behaving very nicely to them. But in the end is kind of like an uplifting ending, you know, which, uh, you know, kind of really sets the scene for kind of what the story is all about. Ultimately, which is kind of just how being a good person kind of prevails. Andi, through that, you know, is obviously Santa's in there, and then it goes through, You know, Christmas is well, so it's got a very kind of Christmas Eve vibe to it. In it Starts is kind of like the build up to Christmas, and then it kind of goes through Christmas. So it's got a very kind of Christmassy kind of flavor to it as well on and San Santa is kind of like a, you know, a character who's kind of a bit jaded. He's turned into a bit of a businessman instead of like this center that we all known love on bond. So Eric Main, the main, the main character, kind of helped him rediscover, you know, his love of Christmas
