as we look at this this morning, there's one verse that I just want to bring to you right off. And that is Mark 9 23 And it's, uh, in your top of your bulletin there. But it says if you can believe all things are possible to him who believes Now I want this, uh, if you can like, I like that that n i v two. So let us just say that together because this is what I really want to get through into our hearts. We can talk about faith. If you can say Jesus, everything is possible for him who believes. Now let us say it all together. If you can, said Jesus, everything is possible for him who believes everything is possible for him, who believes. And so we are saying, Lord, help me to understand that what is faith really all about? And I hope this morning, as we look at is that somehow something will will just kind of breakthrough. There is a legend abroad that contributing causes of the wealth and achievement of the nation is a source of personal initiative suggested in the last syllables of our our nationality. American Well, absolutely. I can. I can. An old Salvation Army alter song said I can. I will. I do believe that Jesus died for me. Isn't that that's like, Yes, I can. I will. I do believe that Jesus died for me. Faith has something to do with us. So let us let some of these things just kind of sink in. And perhaps we can grass. And perhaps you've struggled with faith you struggled with How can I believe, Lord? But nothing is happening. How do I How do I work this? How do I get enough faith to believe that I can actually move a mountain? How do I do that? And sometimes we beat ourselves up, and we think, Well, what on the earth is going on? Faith is dependent upon obedience and rightness of heart and life. We cannot trust God in face of willful sin. James makes us perfectly clear. I am never going to get what I really do not want. Faith does not take root in a carnal heart. So there there needs to be some kind of connection here that I need to look at it need to look at carefully a nation does not build its giant observatory's, you know, down in a valleys where this fog and mist it goes to the highest mountaintops, where the air is clear and where you can see in every direction and where the sky is clear and open and and not hindered by fog or smog or something that that will hinder that. That is where faith must stand. And I want us to see that faith must stand on the hilltops. Faith must stand on a mountain tops so that everything is clear. Everything is beautiful. There is nothing that hinders our faith towards God. And that's what we want to see. Faith is smothered where there is self indulgence and un confessed sin. Faith requires for its heavenly vision a high range of separation and a clear, pure sky of a consecrated life. And so you may ask this this morning, you ask why your failure submerge you. Why is there so many failures? Why is there so many things? Yes, I have faith. Yes, I believe what God's word says. I wonder if this is not your answer. Your doubts and fears are the result of living on too low a plane you're living on to lower plane. You know what we need to climb higher. Amen. And in our spiritual walk in our faith walk, we need to climb higher. Your heart is to mix. You have not reached a clean, clear cut vision or a decision. Your daily program is too near to this present evil world and Galatians 14 I'm talking about hindrances to faith. How can believe you can believe these things are truly possible. So let us walk through some of those things. Faith Number one is hindered by the week and unscripted real way. So many excuse their unbelief and think and speak lightly of the sin of doubting God. Now the Bible puts a must here, just as Jesus has in John three. Seven. He must be born again. That's important. He must. There is no other way. You must be born again. That's a fact. It's there. You must be born again. So the Bible also says in Hebrews 11 six for he had come off to God must believe that he is. And that is a reward er of them that diligently seek him and we see again that little word must must believe must believe that he is. And that is a reward er of them that diligently seek him. You and I must believe that there is no alternative except complete and final separation from God, and it is a sin.
