Yeah, really welcome back ladies and gentlemen to another episode Mr strictly for the music podcast. I'm your host, DJ S J N. And that's just a guy live in direct, started out in 2017. Freestyling on Snapchat, 2018 started to make a song with the Disney started Sky Cats. Also did a song. It was just a melody that hit over nine K on Youtube. Ladies and gentlemen, with no further ado, let's welcome Why And Kobe's boys. What your boy? What's good? What's up man? I appreciate you taking the time to come on this podcast and telling your stories. So, man, I stepped right into it, man described Back when you started out in 2017 man, how did it all begin and uh, where to take off at like, all right. So like my friend had his phone and my phone handbook and I was always bored and I always kind of closed with music a lot because like, I would listen to a lot of Eminem and a lot of like, like older rappers, you know, so I would take snapshot and post it on like, I would like Do like 32nd songs, like just over beats. I would take it from Youtube and then I would like just do it over the phone and just rapping freestyle. And as I got better. People say I should start making music on youtube. And I was like, okay, I'm gonna make it Channel, started that in 2017 and then like gained 100 subscribers from it. And then my, he went on from there. That's dope man. That's told. All right, man. So, man, let us learn a little about by yourself, man. What was it like growing up? I mean, I was a part, I was a little troubled kid back then. Like, I was like getting a lot of trouble when I was in elementary school middle school. Like I kind of showed out when I got in 9th grade, but like I've been focused on music. I have a girlfriend, I'm like, I've been chilling. But like, unfortunately my mom had passed in 2018 is what made me more focused on music because I told her before in like 2017 that I would make it up into the music industry and make it out for us because we were living in my grand muscles, you know what I mean? And like I took it and then, when when she passed on one January, I took it and say I'm gonna go further and get further and now that's where I am today. Alright, man, that's dope man. All right. So you say you're from Maryland, right? Yeah. Or something, man. Yeah, it's told, man, um is there any musical influences that's in your area that you look up to? Uh Tajin Michelle? He's probably one of them probably should Best he did a song with little Uzi. Uh beautiful young man, examine. Um, not really an influence, but my brother three on one end. You shouldn't have Oh, man, Yeah. All right man. Yeah. So you've got a lot of influence in Maryland. Uh, man. So let me ask you this man. Um, what was one of the first songs that guy got the ball rolling in your music man? Uh, see, okay, I did a song for a female named Madison, Which like I didn't, I would get like an average of 30 views on the song and I would be pissed because I wanted to like see my music gained. Like how these rappers do like a million in like an hour. And I wanted to see myself get that. But I had to figure out that you can get that way. You've got to start from the bottom and work your way up to the top and you have to manifest your goals and you have to do stuff like that. You know what I mean? So that song game like 500 views and like the first day and I was like, Oh yeah, I'm, I'm, I would thought I was the shit. I thought I can, I can follow up that easy, but it wasn't. But this next one after it got 100 views, something like that. But now that I have this new channel in my new flow in my new songs and how I sound, I'm just like, I think I've changed changed as a rapper and I deleted a lot of songs off of my newer channel to try to start fresh. You know what I mean? Because I have a lot of good songs that I used to have, but I deleted a lot. You know what I mean? Yeah man. All right man. So let's go back to your Youtube channel and let's talk about uh the song You Be Angels Don't Fly Patreon Wy Nw picturing you man. Mhm. Yeah. Well you elaborate on this song, let us know or how this creative process came and uh what influenced you to write it man? Or a pretty solid my back. Whoa. I would like, I've seen this man do be. He was like, he's really, he's pretty much like he has more like a lot of club. And I asked him like, can I remix a song of yours and put my vocals over and try like singing and I'm putting up pay no mind to it. I just wanted to like put out a song making people laugh and stuff and make some vocals and the song is just nothing but me just vocalize it. I'm not really even doing anything for and they gained like one K. In the like first week. And I was like, I don't know this might be it, but not like a year later. It's at 9.5, but I still believe in like that's accomplishment that I still mess with. That's why this song is still in the channel. If any, if it was like lower, I probably would have not had it on this channel anymore. But yeah, did that, that's dope man. That's so man. All right man. So uh, let's go into your music video. Sign man. Tell us who shot the video. What inspired you to freestyle this song And uh man, uh let us know about uh everything else has him with it man. Uh shine. This was like, it was a song I just like looked up the type beat on Youtube and I was just like Free son. All I heard was done. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, nothing. I was just like, like I would think of a melody in my head and then I would just be like, yes, because that's how I, how I make music. I don't have to write because it feels like in my opinion, I feel like it's harder to write. Like it's harder to write as you go because as you go along, you can write, say a bar and just thinking like two minutes later, think of another bar just in your head off the top of your head. So it's like in your brain writing but you're not really writing. Just freestone. So like just taking your time with it. But you're freestyling at the same time and I got that from really good legend. RMP juice will, but he had useful. He's he's a legend and he's the one that made me who I am. If it wasn't produced what I wouldn't wrap the way however that's not like that and like and shine how the video was recorded. I want I don't I wasn't really like paying for music videos back then. So I had asked my sister because she record the video for me shout out to auto. But like uh she shot the video for me on my phone, which I'm on right now. And like I did this editing and effects of my stuff myself and yeah, people really messed with it when I put it up. But yeah that's dope man. Hell yeah man. Um All right man. So let me ask you this man, what makes you different from other artists? I'm different from other artists because I feel like I have more potential in the D. M. V. Is like like most people in the D. M. V. And D. C. Maryland Virginia, everybody would like make it to a certain point. But I feel like I can break past that point. I have a lot of potential and night like like higher mainstream rap. You know what I mean? Like juice world likes of juice world eggs like more than people. You know what I mean? Right in life? I wrapped like a like in my opinion for my age I'm only 16 doing this and I know for a fact That I can see I see myself I do this third. I'm on the meditation 3rd. I'm really quote and spiritual and I see myself on this stage in front of 1000 and 3, 33 30,000 people just like rapping in front of them. Like I can just see myself doing that and I know I'm gonna do that and I see myself and I'm gonna tell you this one thing right now that I will be making a By 2023, I'm trying to tell you right now, I will be an XXL freshman by 2023. So Hell yeah, man. So, man, so you're only 16 years old. You started this when you were 14, am I correct? I started I started this when I was around like how old? Probably like 13, 13, 14, something like that. And I'm 16. Getting ready to be 17 to do something. Damn dog. All right man, you got a bright future ahead of you. Uh Let me ask you this man. Um, elaborate on little jug basketball freestyle a lot. Uh my man, little jug and he's a really like, you would want him on your podcast. I can give you his instagram. It's out little jug, he earned, he's a real good artist that I think is in my opinion better than me, which I got a lot of how I right now on like because of him. And like we're just doing this shit off a garage band. We don't have no recording studio or nothing. And we're making these songs are just good. That's how I know we have more potential than most people in the D. M. V. Because most people have recording studios around here and they still hasn't made it as that breaking point. And I feel like I can make it past that break a little jug like he has a channel. He has so many songs on there. You can go check that out. But I'm trying to tell you those those that that's a rapper that in my opinion I think that has potential more than he. All right man. Dope. Mhm. All right man. So um so moving on man. Um Y. N. W. Red Xxx jugend featuring Little drug another one man. Let us know about this song right here man. Oh judging the same thing with basketball freestyle. I would ask judge like because I fucked me. This music so heavy to the point where I wanted to do a whole song with him and see we had an album called Park Baby that came out was a collaboration album. And we had hot shit. We had trapping 25 8. We had so many songs on there which the songs you can still find on Soundcloud Basketball first start chugging all that songs were on there. We had all of the songs but I had like recently deleted it because as I told you that I restarted my brand and we started the way I got and my kind of changed my channel around, you know? Yeah. Mhm. All right man. Dope. Dope. All right, So next song Be with you? Oh we'll be with you man. That's about my girlfriend. Uh It's like it's about a song where you have mixed emotions. Like this is where this is a version of me that I don't really show people like that. My girlfriend is like somebody I'm really attached to. So I say I need a song called Be With You and this is and for some reason I used to be so many rappers have been using it. I don't know that. I don't think it's because of me, honestly don't think it is, but all of a sudden roberts has been coming left and right at mine like that beat and I've been seeing it like a b mike. He's a real famous rapper around here, not around Maryland, but around in my chip talk and stuff. Like they've been using these beats that so but be with you is a real song about my girlfriend, about how I want to be with her and how I want to live with her and how I want to be with her forever. It's just like it's deeper, it's like if I would do like a genius interview and you will hear the lyrics first process down one by one, then you would understand it. Oh yeah. All right man. So moving on man. Um what do you have going on so far this year with music videos? You got any music videos you're working on? What kind of fans expect, man? The fans can expect a lot of shit like, okay, I'm dropping hey album called Marsa. It's about it's a fish. Like it has nothing to do with why. Nw edits as I mean, that's a character that I play as mean. This album will be about me and strictly about my life and it's strictly about who I am as a person, you know what I mean? And and like, but in the meantime, before that gets here, uh, I'm dropped me. I dropped the song recently called lin Story Story. That should be coming out soon. That a music video to that should be coming out soon. It's about my eggs, which is the polar obviously to be with views about, it's kind of had that king Vaughan field, which is another inspiration from Chicago. Just like juice world. And uh it's like, it's like a crazy story field type song. And like I have a video that might be coming out with that. I have more auto tune, a lot of attitude type music singing music melodic, which you would call it. And I have more rapid than just like dropping singles until this album comes out in 2022. All right man. Don't dope man. So let me ask you this man. Um, have you ever performed? And uh what are your favorite venues and you got any? I had did one in L. A. I did one And it was formed or not a lot of people is about like 100, not to like Not a lot a lot like how more rapid than most rappers, but it was before and 100 people. And like, and I wasn't even that running up. Like I was like for him for somebody before they got on the stage. Like they made person. Yeah. Uh, that was probably, that's probably my favorite. And what was it like? It was, it was, it was cool for something like it was not what I thought it would be, but like, I know I can get to the point where I'm like going crazy how X did on the stage. I know how I could get and I want to be able to do like a rolling wild site shit. Like, like some crazy that I could just jump in the crowd and just go wild. You know, I want to be like, I want to connect to my family. I have, I don't really have that right now because like not really, most people are messed with me. But after this interview, I'm gonna try to get more and more people investing because I'm trying to click with all these people because on Tiktok I'm gaining a lot of followers, which I'm gonna use that to plug music into that. So, you know, I'm gonna see where I get. That's dope man. That's dope. All right man. So, um, let me ask you this man. Um, if you have a chance to do a live performance on instagram live Youtube, facebook live, any live streaming platform would be something you'd be interested in. Hell. Yeah. Hell yeah. Damn problem down in his arm. All right man. Don't talk. All right man. So let me ask you this man so far. You barely started in 2017, but who's your favorite artist to do collaborations with right now man? I would say me and and got a lot of the club collaboration that are doing numbers was then then I would say, but like wrapping and like skilled wise, I would say a little jug and my man's DNB Ron, which he's an underground from our perspective. He's an underground rapid to us. So like I would say that he, he will be up there and one day he continues to write which he may got a song with me and drug in and called Jenkins, which is his song. So yeah, we made, we dropped that last summer. I'm pretty sure. All right man. Yeah, dope. So, so do you have any future collaborations you got coming now or what kind of fans expect from that point Inside man, I have a song with precisely and big busy coming out. I have a song with DNB Ron jug and yeah, I have a lot of more like as it comes along, but I can't really say too much because of my label. But yeah. All right man, joe No man. So what's it like uh doing a collaboration with Precisely. But love is there? Yeah. All right. All right. All right man. So if you can collaborate with any artist dead or alive, who would it be and why? Juice Motherfucking World? That man is a lyrical genius, a lyrical legend that in my opinion is better than tupac biggie ultimate rappers. If you would really look deep into that man's story and look how how he free styled on youtube and how he made like this man did exactly what I'm doing now. He's freaked out every single song. He's me and this proof of it. They said that he will go in the booth, rap a song out and then want to do another one. Make another version of that song and just make songs all day. He would either be in his room with his girl ali or he would be making a song and that's the person that I fucked with heavy and I wish juice never would have died. He should have never done. And I feel like that's the person that I want to make a song with. Regardless I would try to get contact with baby. Hopefully somehow this gets around and I can get contact with you. But yeah, I do want to do a song with juice. Don't man told All right, man. So, um, what would be the best advice you can give the youth man? Never get into drugs and and never let like I'll tell you now weed and stuff is not a bad drug. That that's something that you can get into. But don't do anything outside of that and the most fucked up drug that you can never get into his love. I'm promising you that right now. Never get into love. If you get into that, make sure you really are in love with that person because I promise you every time you will get hurt every single time. All right, man. All right. All right, man. So who is your music targeted towards what's the audience you're looking for? And uh man, let us know like I'm looking for audience life like that that can just chill. And by was like, if I went instagram live, there's like a loyal families like somebody that always like how young boys fans are, no matter if he promotes it or not, if he drops they're washing, that's how I would be with my family. So calling me, they go like how I'm calling juice a goat. I want them calling me a good dope dope man. All right. All right, man. So let's get into your favorite bar you ever wrote in a song or freestyle in a song? Well, freestyle it. And my favorite song that now I have now that's released is with uh just called I think you've reacted to, it's called where I'm kind of out there clouds. What is the car now? I start like that part too. Yeah. And I was like yeah I don't want to label. I was down there we had no cable. I had to tropical food on the table. Like I like how I was in that song like yeah. Yeah. And I was like uh I don't mess with nobody because all of them told you I'm a fucking three up three or one what I told you? Like I was just saying I was run and then I was like, I'm mature on my age. You would think I was old and like most people think I'm older in my age because I'm maturing how I talk Like I don't talk like the average 16 year old. And if you see me in person you would not think I'm sitting. Yeah, that's dope man. All right man. So man, what are your music? Guilty pleasures. Like what do you listen to on the David with no one around. Uh I listened to a lot of unreleased juice woman's like as you can tell that's my favorite artists and but I listened to like King Vaughan. I listened to a lot of dirt. I listen to like and other genres like rap is not just one thing I listen to. I will listen to punk country, listen to even E. D. M. Like like juice has songs that are eating them. So the output categorize that is eating. And like I can I listen to a lot of marshmallow. I listened to a lot of R. And B. Stuff like that. Just like stuff that's really like I like to explore just so I know that if I ever get into a song with a pop slender or something, I know how to rap on that song. All right man. All right man. Dope man. So can we expect you to go out of your genre and explore another? Uh definitely. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have like some type of song and then in the future where it's going to be with like a female or just it's probably gonna be like some R. And B. Stuff for probably like something. I know I'll probably get in my bag on some drink shit. Hell yeah, that's still that's still all right, man. So let me ask you this, man, what are the ways do you market your music to promote? Uh I use a lot of my Snapchat and that's where I got most of my father was like following me because that's where you like, if you want to follow me, it's that marceau Ak 10. But uh on my snap, there's a lot of people like that's how you would see my unreleased music. Like like I post a lot of smith is like, that's how you would know that I'm getting ready to drop the song is on my snap. Like I'm not really active on instagram as I used to be because it got hacked. But like, yeah. All right man. So you say stop. That's one of your ways to promote. What about your shit top? My chick talk. I mean like I never my fan based on, there is a little different. Like when I'm on Tiktok there would be like, I would post it and it wouldn't get as much like if I posted something that was relatable. You know what I mean? So I'm away until I get a little bit more bigger and fans to be able to like plug the music into, you know what I mean? All right man. All right. So let me ask you this man in 2017. If you never got into music, what would you be doing? I have, I don't even know for, I really don't see myself doing anything else. I know when I was younger, I was always that funny class clown kids. So I probably always wanted to be a comedian, like kevin Hart or like Adam Sam somebody like that. So probably like a comedian because like when I rap, I do funny rap, like you would hear how I wrapped in my songs. You can saw that I'm being joking around and some of my bar. Oh yeah. All right man. So let us know your goals in 2021 whether you got going on and uh man, what's the world? No. What I got going more. Nothing much. Not probably just like continue to drop singles until this album comes out and just like show bug, get through this pandemic, Stay safe out. You know what I mean? Yeah, you too. All right. So, what is the best advice you've been given the best place I've been getting? Like, I wouldn't say like, I've been given to a lot of advice. I couldn't pick one. But like one of them is like always give the same energy that's give been given back to you. Like, never let somebody else's energy. Negative energy affects yours. If you if you somebody gives you better energy, give the same bed energy back. If you get the good energy, give them the same good energy, that's wonderful. And like um just like stuff like that. Like, like always stay positive. Like always stay like on a positive level of thinking. That's what extra ex talking never to think on a low vibration. Always think on a higher vibration. Because if you think on a lower vibration, you'll be on a lower vibrational stuff. You say yourself, you're not gonna make, you're not gonna get it. You give up, you give up this, that's not another, you're going to stay in that wrong because that you're you're saying yourself is worthless or you're not gonna keep trying. You sell yourself that you're going to make sure you're going to do this. You're manifesting stuff into your life that will may or may not exist, but it's all based on you. So, Alright, man, that's still All right. So, let me ask you this, would you use that same advice to tell any upcoming artists in your area? I would sell any artists and whip that advice. Never getting to gangs. Don't use a gang as a cloud based. Never used like, like, I don't think you need to be in again. Just to be cool. I have not touched a gang. I've not touched anything. I've been needs for myself. See, I'm not I'm not a person that's gonna uh let somebody play me like I'm some pussy or nothing because they can get their look. But that's just that's just that's just another conversation for another time. But like, I don't need a gang behind just for protection. I have my own protection. You know what I mean? So in my advice and my advice, never get into games. Do you be independent? In in in my opinion? I know I probably get in trouble by a planet. I see uh uh United, never getting I might get in trouble, but never signed a late. It's never sign a link. All right, man. So, stay independent, right? They independent always stay independent. I made. That decision will be selling burr? All right, man. All right, man. So let me ask you this, how is your music going to evolve from here? I just see myself not recording off my phone anymore. I see myself in the future in a whole studio of my own with sound goofing. Just somebody a producer like mike will with somebody like uh D. J kelly was somebody like that. Like somebody famous producing one of my sons nick mirror, he produced all usual song. Like just people like that DJ scheme is one of them I want to work with. Like just it's like all these people, I just see myself doing that. Alright man. Alright man. So is there any questions that I left out that we didn't speak on? Let me know what's up man. Uh huh. Not so much so to you. Anything you need to ask me to feel free if you want to come. I'm here to ask you a quick answer your questions. That's part of the interview. Alright man. Alright, well I'm just minister, I covered everything. Do you have any special shout outs man? Um Shut out for one shot of my me and my snap marshall a K 10 once again shot up my man's DNB wrong, you know what I'm saying? Focus you talk about my bro that lives right from across the street and me uh my man's three or one and you know what I'm saying? You know how he is rocking, Judge, you know how he is rocking. Uh huh, my longtime friend car. You know, I have to have to shut her out. You are. And um she does basketball. Is she going to be in the W. N. B. A soon? It's like people like that, You know what I'm saying, shouting? My mom, my mom, she a real one. Rest her sarah miles. Hell yeah, man. All right man. So final words, man, you wanna tell anybody and everybody that was going to be listening to this man, never give up endeavor and keep listening to my music. I promise you it would be worth it. In the end, anybody that's going to be listening to music from me will get paid repaid in the end up on All right man, they they go ladies and gentlemen talking all the social media outlets that everyone don't know where they can find you and let everyone know where they can find your music so they can go street mitt, man. Do you hear me bro? Yo, did you hear me? Yeah, yeah, go ahead and plug in your social media outlets and let everyone know where they will find you, man. Uh Youtube, Red X. I. I go by Y. N. W. That is but you can hit me up at Red as you know what I'm saying. Uh instagram. Y. N. W. Reddick. Then like Snapchat. Once again, Marcel AK 10 uh I used to go out. I still got Damn Lab is still Y and W writers, but I don't really use it them, but you can still follow me on there. And my yeah, Castle Vania cell phone. Yeah, that's money. one. WS Everything.
