On this weeks very special episode of the Three Men And A Football podcast, we are joined by Tony Denson to celebrate the birthday of our good friend Michael Lundon. Michael is 40 on Wednesday 9th December and we wanted to pay tribute to him, his football career and his ongoing fight with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).Tony (Deno) is Michael’s brother-in-law and close friend. So there was nobody better placed to come on the podcast and tell us all about Michael and his family.Tony talks about Michael’s amazing football career and the amount of trophies he won while playing for Waterloo Dock AFC, one of Liverpools most famous and successful amateur teams. He also tells us all about how Michael played the game… committed, hard and with a massive amount of ability.We talk about Michael’s ongoing battle with MND and how it’s impacted him and his family. And then we discuss the #Miles4Mick campaign started by Paul Donnelly and supported by thousands across the city and around the world.
