The 2006 mid-term elections have come and gone with some very interesting outcomes. Well-known political broadcasters, Peter B. Collins and Belva Davis join us to share some expert insights about the election results.

Peter B. Collins is a well-known broadcaster, voice-over talent, entrepreneur, and media consultant based in San Francisco. He has hosted a variety of radio programs, including shows on ABC, CBS, and KSFO. He currently hosts The Peter B. Collins Show, a progressive talk radio program that airs weekdays throughout the West Coast. Peter B. is also a producer and consultant developing quality radio programs such as Childhood Matters, Street Soldiers, Interfaith Voices, Conversations on the Coast, and The Joan Kenley Show. www.peterbcollins.com

Belva Davis is an award-winning journalist who has covered California politics for more than four decades. She was the first female African American television reporter on the West Coast and is known for her work as a labor activist and her involvement in community affairs. She served as an anchor and Urban Affairs Specialist for San Francisco’s KRON news – where she is now a Special Projects Reporter. She is the host of KQED’s Friday night current affairs program This Week In Northern California. thisweek.kqed.org
