you're doing, going in and checking in preemptively to me helps a lot because, you know, one of the problems with getting anything done, especially with multiple kids is your interrupted all the time and you never get anything done or you never finish anything but you're busy and overwhelmed all day. So I think preemptively going in and checking on people when it's convenient for you to me, saves a lot of of time and energy and also making sure that when they do have those breaks in the zoom schedule that they're getting outside, that they're getting fresh air, they're getting sunlight if possible. Um they're physically moving their muscles, all of that is going to help their ability to concentrate their ability to have patience when zoom isn't going well or when they're dealing with an online learning platform that's not working for them. Um And then the other thing I would add is being very conscious of what you're acknowledging that they're doing well right? Because often what they hear from us is when things aren't going well, why are you getting so frustrated right now? Why were you late to that meeting? Why didn't you tell me you have this homework? You know, we tend to focus on what's not working well or what they're doing wrong. So really being as conscientious as you can about verbalizing what they're doing well, how they're succeeding, what you're so proud of and really modeling the characteristics that you want to encourage more of. So wow, you were so patient when that was was just a hot mess or you know, look at your tenacity, you kept at that, even though it was quite frustrating. I thought, wow, that's something I'm working on. I really admire that and really going out of your way to complement the characteristics that you want to encourage more of? I think that you'll find that really, um, will amplify the kind of behaviors that you want to see most. Here's a little tricky part. Um, what if you see something you don't think is so great? Like my son would play video games or things like that and he was supposed to be in school. Um, and you're on, they can hear you. I mean, how do you, how do you handle something like that? How do you address those things later with them? Or do you try to you mean while they're like while they're on zoom? Because I've heard a lot of parents, I mean I've heard more stories of parents who didn't
