What’s Behind the Explosion of Children’s Chronic Illnesses? – Episode 29: Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Ann Louise Gittleman Interviews Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

“The greatest crisis that America faces today is the chronic disease epidemic in America’s children,” says Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., the son of slain US Presidential candidate Senator Kennedy, and Founder, Chairman of the Board, and Chief Legal Counsel for Children’s Health Defense. With more than 54% of American children suffering from one or more chronic illnesses -- including one out of five kindergartners with asthma and one in 34 children with autism -- it is imperative that we learn the reasons behind the explosion of chronic illnesses and turn our attention to helping the most vulnerable in our society.
