when you entered 10 years ago, what were some of the difficulties that girl's face during that time at that time? It was the era of production and directors kind of running the whole scene. So now comparatively it's all on the performer and previously was all on the director where they were the ones who are gaining the most success out of the whole thing. So now it's completely different. Like now I have the opportunity to gain the most success before I would get one simple paycheck, I don't get any residual funds and even at that time like it was just, it just wasn't in the in favor for the performance. We had obviously it was great for us. We get the opportunity to build a brand for ourselves and she with you know, really great directors and things like that. But it definitely wasn't in like our best favor because there was the era right before I started I was like people were making more money before the internet and tube sites became really popular. Girls were making you know, maybe 2-5 if not $10,000 a day on set where they were making a lot of money and then tube sites came and they couldn't afford to pay the performers the same type of rates. So my starting rate when I started was like 600 for a girl girl and 800 for a boy girl. So it changed, it changed quite a bit when you entered. Yeah. Oh it's changed so much. It has, there wasn't a lot of opportunity for female stars or porn stars in general to have their own websites or their domains, a lot of them were run by porn companies would have like sister sites ran for the girls and they would take a huge margin of percentage and they would also own the content where the girls didn't really have, it wasn't in the girls or the guys favors, it wasn't in the talents favor. And now there's so much opportunity where we have so many platforms that we can go to, where we still own the content. They're not getting as big. Like we're getting a larger percentage. Like even at that time when I first started, I think it was still even so in like 2015 I built my own website through third party people and I like did my own tech support. I built the website. I was like my own web master, I did all of these things because all of this yourself, I did it all myself because I was really, I hated the fact that these companies took so much from the girls and it was almost like spitefully I was like, I'm going to show you, did they reject to this at all. Did these companies reject to the idea that you're running your own stuff? Um I wouldn't say that they rejected, but I would say that I didn't get as much help or you know, I didn't get the opportunity to like affiliate things or whatnot because I wasn't in the traditional adult site and, and, and even at that time I wasn't getting recognized. It wasn't until last year that I got my first avian nomination for My, one of my scenes on my website and I've been producing content on my website since 2015. So it took about five years before I even got the recognition and I still wasn't, I am now on an adult platform um as of now because I kind of outgrew my opportunities. Um, but now I'm with the side who's seen what I can do. So I get a better deal on it. They realized that I don't necessarily need them and it's benefited me in the, in the long term. But I've tried to help multiple girls showing them how I build my website, but not as many people have the drive or they, you know, they don't, they don't have the motivation to be the business person to take advantage of their whole brand. And of course that's what it's all about is branding now compared to when girls entered into is more like this model, actress type career? Right. So what do you, what do you think, do you think most of the changes have been positive? What do you think about the negative changes as things shifted? Negative changes? I honestly, I will have to sit and think about that for a while because all of the changes that I have noticed have all been positive, like I feel like the industry has gotten better in the terms of like how society views it, even though it's still fairly like it still has so much negative connotation, it's become so much more mainstream, porn hub is something cool to talk about that's mentioned in multiple cartoons. I mean I feel like that you know and now like porn hub hosts these like really glamorous adult award shows where Kanye joined and teamed up with the very first porn hub awards. So I feel like porn has become so much more mainstream and cool and trendy so it has a different, a different world in it. Like I was even my name was mentioned even in a bad bunny song and bad bunny is one of the most, he's one of the biggest latin artists uh currently and so and Canyon that mentioned, what's her name? Stormy Damn, Stormy Daniels and one of his songs. So I feel like I feel like in the mainstream media and the attention in that world, it's only gotten more positive and with social media it's become more acceptable and more interesting and more friendly to follow and participate in and especially it's become so talent friendly that it makes it more accessible for someone at home to also participate in the adult community
