#36 - Aaron Frazer - Durand Jones & The Indications In episode #36 Aaron Frazer (@Aaron_Frazer) from Durand Jones & The Indications (@durandjonesandtheindications) joins me at the table.  I start the show with me sharing the video of my daughter singing along to one of their songs. We talk about the unnecessary pressure people are putting on themselves during the quarantine as well as how he's keeping busy during this time.   We discuss the exploitation of people in prison and we talk about the acoustic show he did for the LastPrisonerProject.org A foundation that focuses on getting people out of prison who are serving time for non violent crimes revolving around cannabis.    I ask him how hip hop has influenced his music and we wrap up the show with some quick and fun Q & A. I ask him what he thinks of In-N-Out being from the east coast himself. Listen in to hear his response to this as well as other questions.   Make sure to check out the LastPrisonerProject, org    You can find all episodes of the podcast at TheCoolKidsTablePodcast.com

TRC: Durand Jones and the Indications “Private Space” Review An in depth review of Durand Jones and the Indications’ new album “Private Space.” After two years away these gentlemen return to capitalize on the resurgence of the old school R&B/Soul/Funk sound. Will Durand’s Powerful, Soulful Voice + Aaron’s Falsetto = Another Masterpiece? See if this group can capture the same magic from their first album. I also talked about my wife’s driving test, the Return of my side hustle and other random stuff (business as usual). Just opinions from my side about the albums (lyrics, concept, jokes, etc). ENJOY!!! Requests are always welcome. Follow me on twitter @alop3cia_brown. Email Blk.lex9311@gmail.com.
