2021 - Show 19 - Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) with Dr. Kathryn Hoes & Legal Issues Surrounding Covid-19 and Vaccinations with Hall Render Attorney Mac Stewart Brain trauma can be life threatening, and certainly life debilitating. What we think is just a "knock to the head" can be much more serious as you will hear. We are delighted to have Kathryn Hoes, M.D., neurosurgeon/spine surgeon on the medical staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas & UTSW Medical Center join us to discuss diagnosing, treating, and healing Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Then, we take a different turn to discuss an element of the Covid-19 pandemic that is quickly becoming a major topic: Legalities. Where does "right to my own body" intersect public health during a pandemic? Can employers mandate an employee take the Covid-19 vaccine in order to remain employed? Can they restrict employees from the workplace? Could the United States legally adopt a national "vaccine passport," or would that revert to the States? Many interesting questions to discuss with Dallas Attorney Mac Stewart from the firm Hall Render. See for privacy and opt-out information.
