Ep 015: Clio’s Acquisition of Lexicata, with Lexicata CEO Michael Chasin It was big news earlier this month when practice management company Clio announced that it had acquired Lexicata, the first cloud-based CRM and client-intake platform for lawyers. It was the first acquisition by 10-year-old Clio, which says it will continue to operate Lexicata but will also develop its technology into a new, more advanced client-engagement platform, Clio Grow. Lexicata CEO Michael Chasin and law school classmate Aaron George founded the company in 2014, after previously founding LawKick, a marketplace for connecting clients with lawyers. A 2013 graduate of Loyola Law School, Chasin also received a master’s degree in business administration from Loyola Marymount University. In this episode of LawNext, host Bob Ambrogi sat down with Chasin at the recent Clio Cloud Conference, shortly after the acquisition was announced. They discuss the history of Lexicata, the reasons for the acquisition, the future of the product, and what it all means for the legal industry at large. The AMPire Diaries - 009 - Let The Right One In | Under Control (feat. Michael Chasin) The AMPire Diaries Episode 9: “Let The Right One In” | “Under Control” (feat. Michael Chasin)

Moving along on this Vampire Diaries rewatch-slash-first-time watch (and mostly spoiler-free) combination podcast, we’re talking about “Let The Right One In” (Season 1, Episode 17) and “Under Control” (Season 1, Episode 18). The AMPire Diaries’ resident boy, Michael Chasin (@MichaelChasin), makes his official debut on the podcast as a guest, and thus marks the start of several brand new bits, such as: teen death wish rankings, “slurp,” and what will now be known as “Boy Corner.”

“STEFAN, DAMON, ALARIC AND ELENA AGAINST TOMB VAMPIRES” (“Let The Right One In”)
“UNCLE JOHN AND HIS DARK SECRETS” (“Under Control”)

The more AMPED logline this time around? It’s got to go to the more AMPED episode, “Let The Right One In.”

030 - All My Children | 1912 (feat. Michael Chasin) The AMPire Diaries Episode 30: “All My Children” | “1912” (feat. Michael Chasin)

Happy holidays, sisters… er… AMPies! As promised, The second of two new AMPire Diaries episodes is finally here. Now—with the help of our resident boy, Michael Chasin (@MichaelChasin)—we’re discussing “All My Children” (Season 3, Episode 15) and “1912” (Season 3, Episode 16). And guess what we’re talking:

- Sage and being horny for Sage. You were all warned.
- Esther Mikaelson saying "sister."
- Elijah, man.
- Mystic Falls honeypots.
- A potential Tyler/Klaus "draw-off" for Caroline's affections.
- "Finnheads" aka "Feds.”
- Why you should call Jill "insane.”
- "The Mike Boys."
- The trees.
- The titular 1912.
- Team Matt… and Elena?
- Vampire diaries and Damon’s crow.
- What exactly do Rebekah and Finn know about the 20th century….?
- Um, about those Ric restraining orders...
- Friday Night Lights.
- Nancy Drew point and click games.
- Charlie's Angels.
- Going ring crazy.
- Big eyes, baby.

And don’t forget about our survey. AMPies, your AMPie Queens need to figure out how to move forward to simultaneously cover both The Vampire Diaries and The Originals—and to figure out that whole Patreon thing—and you hold the key to such discovery. Unlike an episode of The AMPire Diaries, this survey won’t take long at all: https://tinyurl.com/ampiesurvey

“A FLIP OF THE COIN” (“All My Children”)
“THE MURDER MYSTERY DEEPENS” (“1912”)

The more AMPED logline this time around? Considering it took a second to remember what coin was being flipped and the fact that the chance of the show’s logline mentioning a “murder mystery” ever again is pretty slim, it’s gotta go to “1912.”
