Next, BJ Johnson, co-founder and CEO of ClearFlame Engines explained how their diesel engines run on ethanol, and they're racking up miles on the road. Brian Jennings, CEO of the American Coalition for Ethanol joined the show in segment 3 to reflect on the state of the ethanol industry and the impact of new funding from Washington DC; and we closed the show with Chris Neidert of Trelleborg Wheel Systems and Matt Jungmann of Farm Progress to discuss Farm Progress Show '22, and AOA will be live in Trelleborg's booth number 928 all three days of FPS!

AOA - August 11, 2022 AOA is on location Thursday and Friday at the 35th Annual ACE Ethanol Conference in Omaha, Nebraska, checking in with ethanol leaders from around the country. Bill Cowser, board member of Lincolnway Energy, Iowa farmer and cattleman joined the show in the first segment and reflected on the industry's changes over the past 20 years. Next, Ron Alverson of Dakota Ethanol discussed the next step in reducing carbon intensity, which is sequestration of carbon in the ground and the reasons why plants are looking seriously at it. Arlan Suderman, Chief Commodities Economist at StoneX talked about his preparations for tomorrow's WASDE report. We ended the show with Mark Heckman, of EcoEngineers, about what he's seeing farmers do on their operations to capture more premium.

Brian looked at the strength in front month soybeans and explained AgMarket.net's expectations for Friday's WASDE report. Next, Sarah McKay, Director of Market Development at National Corn Growers Association spoke from the USMEF meat buyers conference in Lincoln, NE, where she's been highlighting the partnership between meat and corn. In segment 3, Greg Horstmeier, Editor in Chief at DTN, broke down the DTN/Gro Intelligence Digital Yield Tour and their expectations for smaller crops come harvest. The show ended with Chris Swift of Swift Trading Company discussing the factors at play in both the live cattle and feeder cattle markets.
