Authority over darkness The Bible says that Satan comes only to steal, kill and destroy. But, the Bible is equally clear that Jesus has complete authority over spiritually demonic forces. As Pastor Paul explains in today’s message, the darkness can impact our lives, but Jesus is more than able to set prisoners free from the bondage of Satan and bring them into the joy of His Kingdom.
Jesus calms the storm In today’s message, we see Jesus calming the storm that threatened His disciples. As followers of Christ, we too will have to face storms, but Pastor Jordan reminds us that we can trust Him because He is Lord over everything and there is no storm that He cannot still.
The cost of a resurrection life Jesus offers us a resurrection life, an abundant life to see the power of God at work in us and through us, but a life that nonetheless requires total commitment. Are we willing to count the cost? Are we willing to pay the price? This is Pastor Sammy’s challenge to us today.
