Can my child's father get rights to see our daughter if I choose not to have him involved? Can I move myself and my child across state lines when my child's father has week off and week on parenting time? 218 - How A D.A.I.L.Y. Reminder Can Improve Your Holiday Experience A divorce can quickly ruin the holidays for you and your children.  It is rough.  But, there are steps you can take to help create new positive memories for your children rather than nightmares they will never forget.  In today's show, Leh and Todd talk about the D.A.I.L.Y. steps you can take to help improve your situation and create positive memories despite the pain of a divorce.  The pneumonic stands for Days matter; Attitude; I, I, I (it is not all about you); Live in the moment; Y do you feel like you have to yell?   If you would like a transcript of this show, you can find it on our website.     If you are enjoying the show, please take a moment to post a positive review about it.  Not sure how? 217 - 2021 Halloween Special!!! It is that time of the year again where Leh and Todd talk about what the undead and monsters can do about their family law problems.   To be clear, they both take what they do seriously, but this show is just for fun.  This year, they get a visit from an old favorite, Dracula.  He is having trouble seeing his grandkids because his daughter's family has gone vegan.  Following Dracula, they get a visit from Jaques Th'rippa.  He wants to get a name change because everyone thinks his name is Jack the Ripper.  Leh almost gets blasted by a Predator that is not happy he has been served with a stalking protective order from Arnold Schwarzenegger.  They wrap up the show with a letter from  Frankenstein's monster about how he can get his neck bolts (and other items) back from his ex-wife who took them at the end of the divorce.
216 - Is Alimony only for Women? Commentary on some recent YouTube videos triggered today's show.  The commentator was surprised by the responses women had to a recent award of alimony to Kelly Clarkson's soon to be ex-husband.  In this show, Leh and Todd discuss alimony.  They explore how it is gender neutral as written (in Georgia, at least), but often it is not gender neutral in application.   They close out the show by discussing steps you should take make the best possible claim for alimony in light of your circumstances. If you would like a transcript of this show, you can find it on our website.     If you are enjoying the show, please take a moment to post a positive review about it.  Not sure how?
