Foods & Methods That Boost Mental Health It is no secret that eating healthy improves health. Eating healthy decreases the risk of cardiovascular ailments, obesity, kidney disease, and diabetes. Eating healthy can also improve mood and mental health. It makes sense as the cliché states that you are what you eat. Poor nutrition can propagate or exacerbate depression, ADHD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and other mental health issues.
