The Daily Office is part of the Anglican Patrimony received into the Ordinariates created by Pope Benedict XVI when he promulgated Anglicanorum Coetibus. The center of the Daily Office is the meditation on the Psalter. In addition, Mattins or Morning Prayer and Evensong or Evening Prayer have canticles that are sung during the office.
