Here at MindFire we have a motto that we live by in order to ensure that we maximize the ROI we get from exhibiting at a conference: “we believe we’ve won or lost by the time we get to a show based on the amount of pre-scheduled qualified meetings we’ve set and locked for our team.”

Truth be told, we came up with this motto after spending hundreds of thousands of dollars and not getting the return we wanted. We would go to a show, give it our all on the show floor, mix and mingle, talk to as many passersby as possible, and still, we’d look at the revenue generated a few months later, and we’d complain that it wasn’t a good show.
