Resurrection Life Church is a body of believers that are in love with God and with people. We are a church that is full of life, believing that Jesus came to give us a life on this earth that is abundant so we could give that life away to others. Believing that the joy of receiving life is only surpassed by the joy of giving life. Continue Reading >>

06192022 | Prayer | Allen Hickman | Message Only Prayer, How the Father teaches us to pray

Prayer has been made into some kind of magical, mystical, and unattainable endeavor that many in Christianity have relegated to Sundays and maybe one night a weekend for a "prayer meeting". Jesus, would often go into the wilderness, up on a mountain, or wherever He could find solitude so He could be alone and pray. But pray to who? The Father, His Father. If we are followers of Jesus Christ and that's what Jesus did should we not do the same? Prayer was His lifeline. Without it He would have not be able to do what He did and go through what He did. It was the relationship with His Father that not only sustained Him in difficulties but gave Him the power to be the Son that the Father was and is well pleased.

06122022 | Normal Christianity | Allen Hickman | Full Service Christianity has been around since the day Jesus rose from the dead, well over 2000 years ago. It has been through numerous changes through out those millennia. God had and has a plan for the church, for Christianity. Satan wants to thwart that plan. How does he do that? By getting us to fight among ourselves. To make the normal seem to be extraordinary when in actuality being like Jesus, acting like Him, behaving like Him is what should be natural and normal. Normal Christianity is to be like Jesus, love like Him everyday.

05292022 |TNT Trials and Tribulations | Allen Hickman | Message Only Life is full of ups and downs. Trials and tribulations. James said it like this, "count it all joy with you fall into various kinds of tribulations..." Nobody really wants to jump and shout when difficult times come. Most of us work real hard to avoid problems, but they still come. So how do we deal with this never ending onslaught of trials and tribulations that we go through? There is a way that God has given us through His Son Jesus and the power of His Holy Spirit. We can and we will overcome

06052022 | My Identity | Corey Bell | Message Only In our current crazy, mixed up world knowing who you are is not just important it is imperative to our survival and success. We as followers of Jesus Christ must now more than ever understand our identity in Jesus. Without that revelation and understanding we will never impact the world the way Jesus most certainly intended for us to do. This week's message is from our youth pastor Corey Bell. Coming in on the heels of an amazing summer youth camp he is sure to be fired up and ready to share the word God has placed in him.

05222022 | Living Sacrifice | Allen Hickman | Message Only As a follower of Jesus Christ our life is not our own. Some people would take offense to that but those who have been conquered by the love of God have willingly and gladly given their life complete over to His lordship. Now, we live our life as "living sacrifices". Loving, caring, giving, all done as a sacrifice. But here is the question, is it really a sacrifice when it is motivated by love? It is so much more than a choice, more than a choosing of the will. The living sacrifice is a joyful celebration of the love and grace that has been lavish upon us that we can't help ourselves but live as a sacrifice and give away our lives to those around us.
