Astrology Chat with Patrick Watson In episode 357 astrologers Patrick Watson and Chris Brennan answer some questions about astrology from listeners of the podcast, and discuss some miscellaneous astrological topics, ranging from understanding significant transits to the meaning of planets in detriment.
We start the episode by talking about how we met on an astrology forum in 2005, and our experience going from being the youngest astrologers at events to becoming solidly middle aged astrologers.
Then we begin with a discussion on the hidden but significant ways in which eclipses and other transits can manifest, and then eventually answer some questions from listeners.
We recorded this episode together in the studio in Denver while Patrick was here to record a new course we are creating on rectification.

Gemini in Astrology: Meaning and Traits In episode 356 astrologers Camille Michelle Gray and Nicholas Polimenakos join the podcast to talk about the meaning of the zodiac sign Gemini in astrology, and some of the traits and characteristics of people born with that sign prominent in their birth chart.
Gemini is the third sign of the zodiac, and it is a masculine or diurnal sign, mutable, airy, and ruled by the planet Mercury.
This is the third in a series of episodes where we do a deep-dive into each of the signs of the zodiac, one per episode, in order to really understand their core meaning and significations.
Camille and Nicholas’s credentials for this episode are that they both have prominent Gemini placements in their birth chart. Camille has Mars in Gemini in the first house, and Nicholas has the Sun, Mercury, and Venus in Gemini.
During the course of the episode we talk about various keywords and traits associated with Gemini, and also look at some birth charts of famous people who were born with different planets in that sign.
Some of the keywords we discussed were drawn from a Twitter survey:

Transiting Eclipses in Astrology Episode 355 astrologer Chris Brennan leads a workshop on how to understand the meaning of transiting solar and lunar eclipses based on where they fall in your birth chart, with a group of astrologers sharing stories of their past experiences.
This is a recording of a meeting of the Denver Astrology Group that took place on May 14, 2022 at the Mercury Cafe, a couple of weeks after a solar eclipse in Taurus, and the day before a lunar eclipse in Scorpio.
It was a followup to another meeting we did in 2019 that was released as episode 215 titled Interpreting Eclipses in Your Birth Chart, where we demonstrated how to interpret eclipses based on which houses they fall in your birth chart, and then attendees shared stories of eclipses in their lives.
For this meeting attendees were instructed to go back and watch the recording of that last meeting, and then come to this one prepared to share stories of how eclipses had worked out for them in the past.
Here is a handout that shows what signs the eclipses fell in from 2004 through 2025:

Sharing Astrology Transit Stories Episode 350 is a recording of a meeting of the Denver Astrology Group where attendees shared stories about transits they experienced over the past two years since our last meeting in early 2020, hosted by astrologer Chris Brennan.
The Denver Astrology Group was started in May of 2008, and held a meeting at the Mercury Cafe on the second Saturday of every month for 12 years, until the pandemic hit in March of 2020.
This meeting was held on April 16, 2022 at the Mercury Cafe in downtown Denver, and it was our first meeting back in two years since the pandemic started.
Because a lot has happened since that time, we thought it would be good to hold a discussion or workshop style meeting where members could share some of their stories about important transits and notable events that have happened in their lives over the past two years since we last met.
Chris led the meeting and opened by talking about the inception charts of the Denver Astrology Group and the Mercury Cafe, and sharing a personal story about his own transits, and then opened it up for audience members to come up to the mic and share their story about a positive or negative transit that they experienced over the past couple of years and how it was reflected in their life.
It ended up being a pretty great demonstration about how different types of transits work, what astrologers look for, as well as how to talk to people about their birth chart.
We plan to resume meetings of the Denver Astrology Group on the second Saturday of each month at the Mercury Cafe.

May 2022 Astrology Forecast In episode 349 astrologers Chris Brennan, Austin Coppock, and special guest co-host Steph Koyfman look ahead at the astrology of May 2022.
The astrology of May features the first part of Mercury retrograde, beginning in Gemini on May 10 and entering Taurus almost two weeks later.
There is also a solar eclipse in Taurus on April 30 and a lunar eclipse in Scorpio on May 16, starting the new eclipse season with the nodes on the Taurus/Scorpio axis until 2023.
There’s a tonal change as Venus, Mars, and Jupiter all move into Aries over the course of May, away from the mutable energy of Pisces.
Late in the month, there is a New Moon in Gemini, although since it occurs on the second to last day of the month we are going to save most of that discussion for the next forecast.
We open the episode by talking about recent world events and how the astrology has played over the past four weeks since our last forecast.
This episode is available in both audio and video versions below.
